I understand who Mary was. If anyone understands her importance it is us Catholics. She was the most pure woman ever to live and was chosen by God to give birth to the Savior. I still fail to see how that answered my question about her being present at the crucifixion though.

What you don't understand is that Christians believe that Jesus is still alive today, because although He died, He rose again from the dead on the third day. So at this point, I would say Jesus is quite old indeed and He is still very much alive

I do not know if it was considered old age, but whether it was or not isn't really what concerns Christians, since the Bible doesn't mention what the Qur'an does about Jesus's "old age" and we follow the Bible.

May be I am being to technical, let me ask a common age of that time which was considered as old age (for any one during that time doen't have to do with Jesus).
