This might be part of the communication issue. How do you define salvation?I don't believe in 'loosing a salvation' as I don't believe I'm saved at one point in my life and that's it. I thought I'd explained this. Being 'saved' is a life-long process
Ask yourself these two questions
a) do oyu have the Holy Spirit in you?
and
b) do you still sin?
-M
Acts 16:29-31 (NIV 1984)
29 The jailer called for lights, rushed in and fell trembling before Paul and Silas. 30 He then brought them out and asked, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
31 They replied, Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be savedyou and your household.
As for your 2 questions
a) Yes.... Luke 11:13 (NIV 1984) 13 If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!
B) Yes... 1 John 1:8-10
8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word has no place in our lives.
Thanks,
Scott
