The rainbow decor could've been a reference to Genesis 9, rather than, shall we say... something else...

Well my travels have been relentless since Nov. 3 weeks in Brazil, a few days in St. Louis, just got back from a week in New Zealand and Sunday night I head back to Brazil again for a week. Reading about Danhead's travels makes it a little better though...you know misery loving company and all.
Actually...my only complaint about all the travel is not being able to take my family to see these different places. In a few years ElderAl and I will be celebrating our 25 wedding aniversary. I am thinking he needs to see New Zealand. It really was wonderful.
Glad to see you are holding down the fort here at TCCL.[/quote]
Wow, you really do spend a lot of time away from home. I think Brazil is pretty too, that is if they haven't cut all the trees down yet. Do you get time to spend venturing out in the wilderness.
New Zealand would be a neat 2nd honeymooon.![]()
I'm gonna wait another 11-12 years until our 50th to take in the world, hopefully we should be retired by then![]()
I think what I want to see more than anything is Alaska, but I'd like to spend an entire summer there and stay into the fall. I really hate leaving US soil. Last Nov. my kids and I went to Quebec and I was really nervous until I got back. Kind of never got over being home sick from Viet Nam.
My bride took in Europe some 35 years ago and asked me if I wanted to go along, but I was only too happy to stay home.
He must be a Fort Wayne grad!ByzantineDixie said:Look at this picture. It is a picture of all the pastors attending the ordination of the new pastor at a LCMS campus ministry. The only pastors wearing groovy stoles are the outgoing pastor of the campus ministry and the new guy.![]()
*GASP* Angelus and I actually agree on something!!![]()
You're right! It means going all the way back to 33AD!AngelusSax said:Ever-reforming means moving past 1600s
Yep, EVERYBODY missed the guys this year! We are ALL so sad that they couldn't be there, even though we learned lots and had fun. It still wasn't quite the same.LutherNut said:

Don't forget that we just might start nailing things to doors!KEPLER said:No way...the worst thing we would do is crash their pot-lucks and bring the beer...
I left a short message of support over on their board, in case anyone wishes to add...
