There are 3 different Santa Baby versions. Which one annoys you the most? The Madonna one I can only handle once a year
The others I don't mind.

Well I don't think the one that plays on the radio here is Madonna, unless she really can purposly sing that badly..
I don't know who sings it. It's like in a sarcastic yet girly kind of tone. I don't know quite how to describe it.

I didn't go to church this year for Christmas. It's the first time I've missed (Christmas) since 1996.
I liked all of my Christmas gifts. I'll probably use my new weight set the most. I can change the weight on it. I got some store gift cards, too. My favorite! I also got some stuff from Bath and Body works and a sewing machine.
The fun part was watching my grandaughter open her gifts. I'll ave another grandaughter in early March.

We had a very nice Christmas. I got A Game of Thrones (A Song of Ice and Fire supplement/RPG) and the Lord of the Rings Special Edition trilogy from my husband. My parents got me a shirt and two tank top/camisole things, March of the Penguins, some books, and a luggage set (for both Chris & me). The brother got me The Day After Tomorrow DVD (I'm a sucker for apocalyptic stories) and also got Chris and me a spice rack complete with 20 spices.

Hey Phoebe, sorry to hear that you missed Christmas. That happened to me a few years ago cause I got quite sick and didn't want to spread it.
Congratulations on the coming Grand Kiddie. I'll have another one myself about a month after your's.

ya know...the old saloon's been kinda quiet lately...
oh well...I'm waiting on a call from the Pastor of our new Church here in San Antonio...we are going to do the training so I can assist with Communion and do some Lay reading...He likes the Chanting, but can't sing...so I will end up doing the chanting for him...I'm kinda psyched about the whole thing...I've also been trying to contact the Bishop about SAMing (Synodical Authorized Minister)...we'll see how that goes...and it looks like I will finally have my degree this summer...I think that's about it...
oh yeah...Andi and I have our 10 year wedding anniversery this December and we will be renewing our vows...I'll finally have the Lutheran wedding that I've only dreamed about...
