I love watching children on Christmas. I love how excited they get over every thing they open, how their little eyes twinkle and the laughter and happiness they bring.

I like waking up to the smell of blueberry pancakes! I also like the rain.

Ooh, there are so many simple things I absolutely love.

1. Lazing about in PJ's all day on my days off, making endless cups of tea all day and eggs, sausages and tomatoes for lunch. Yummy.

2. Staying overnight at my folks, and my mum making me a large pot of fresh brewed coffee in the morning.

3. Staying up to the wee hours of the morning watching late night music television on Fridays and Saturdays.

4. Having one of my cats crawl into my lap and sleep on me.

5. Going to the supermarkets around midnight for some yummy treats. Usually when doing (3).

6. In winter, my wife pulling out a freshly dried pile of laundry and dumping all the hot clothes in my lap.



There's a lot to be said for simple pleasures.

Little children......At bible reading time yesterday in the daycare where I work,they heard the story of how the people were bringing the children to Jesus and the disciples were telling them not to and Jesus told the disciples to let them bring the children to Him and to stop,stopping them.So after the story was told the teacher asked them all questions one was,""What did the disciples do?Everyone was silent and finally one little 4 year old boy said,"They got ate by a whale!!!!".I had a hard time not bursting out loud laughing.It was so precious and he seemed so serious.
