CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My daughter in law had told me that all she wanted for christmas from me was a huckleberry pie so a couple of days ago I made one and took it over to her(I also have a gift for her)but just thought I would make her the pie before I go.
Well last night my 5 year old granddaughter was in my car and I was just letting her off and she said grandma,could you make us another pie for christmas?Isn`t that sweet.She had heard her mom say it and get it so thought she`d say it again.

I know thats right like a pot of my homemade from scratch Italian gravy simmering all day on the stove filled with homemade meatballs and Italian Sausage. But even better then that is when you have a house full of people sit down together to eat and fellowship. There isn't too much fellowshipping until there plates are empty though
