CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I can think of several:
early mornings, just before sunrise when you hear the birds begin to chirp as if the earth is awakening for the day
Sunsets
warm, sunny days
a walk through the woods
the smell of camp fires
the smell of flowers
springtime, when everything starts to bloom
sitting quietly on a summer day listening to the birds 'sing'
When we used to go to my great-aunt's and she is surrounded by hills, kinda lives 'down in the hills' I guess you'd say, I always loved watching the sun rise up over the hills. That was beautiful. I also used to love sitting out on her porch when it was raining and just watching it rain on the hills. Also, taking walks up in the hills.
This one time I was sick and just feeling awful and I was praying. Then I went to lay down and I just felt as though I had been taken and placed on the Father's lap...like when a little kid runs up to their parent and sits on their lap and they hold them. It was like sitting on the Lord's lap, being held and comforted. That is just the best feeling ever!
That's just a few things I can think of right now, but I'm sure I'll think of some more later.
