What tense does your REB render it in? Post Psalm 18:7 in its entirety.

It is in present tense:
Psalms 18:7 The earth shook and quaked, the foundations of the mountains trembled, shaking because of His anger.
This does not refer to a localized event, proved in the context. It awaits fulfilment and it will be the Day of the Lord's vengeance and wrath against all the nations, that will change the world and set the scene for all the end times prophesied things to happen.

If they go with the one state solution, it'll unite Israel and Palestine but by doing so it will allow the ever increasing Palestinian population to be able to use Israel's democracy against them. If they go with the two state solution, it will lead to Israel having indefensible borders. Either way, it's going to be a problem unless they have an absolute guarantee that Israel will have some form of protection.

Actually, the book of Revelation mentions drugs, in the Greek.

Revelation 9:20-21
The word "sorceries" in the Greek, is "pharmakia."
It means "medicines."

Now, of course, God doesn't mind if we use medicine. The Bible talks good about medicine, in most places.
But in the end-times, there will be a kind of "medication" that is sinful.... and it's here.

Keep in mind that these prophecies were written a very long time ago and the authors were trying to describe a society that seemed unfathomable to them.

So I'm just taking a break from watching the transit. Looks nice. The weather's fine where I am. I could see Jupiter below the moon even while the sky was blue, just at dusk. I've got a fire going in the pit but the moon is so bright that it's hurting mt eyes.

I guess it's because of Pentecost. Is that why you think it's interesting? Israel's Pentecost was last Wednesday. Our Churches are celebrating it on Sunday.

Still, it wasn't a bad idea. A Jupiter/Lunar transit on Pentecost. I was never a Feast guy though. I wonder when the real Pentecost is?

It's good to keep your eyes open.

And I just noticed my post is #420, a "third" of 1260. That's the exact number of days from when Jupiter exits the body of Virgo and is then joined in conjunction with Venus, until the sun is "darkened" and then the moon will not give her light.

These numbers are catching my eye.
