I agree. but how does that work with taxpayer money? In the US the taxpayer does not pay to feed, clothe and shelter my children. I pay for those things. So why should I pay for someone else's contraception that will save them these expenses? If they are going to save tens of thousands of dollars in responsibility then they can pay for contraception and abortions themselves.

I get that some people cannot afford contraception and these children would need government assistance. We should give these people help. But people that can afford contraception and abortions should pay for it themselves.

They do give free condoms for contraception. Only when you always hear negative things, rather than see for yourself, you are likely to get hold of, the wrong end of the stick here and there.
