Should Christians support Jews in rebuilding of Third Temple?

Should Christians support Jewish control of Temple Mount and rebuilding of Temple?

  • Yes, I believe that every word in Ezekiel chapter 40 to 48 must be fulfilled.

  • No, doing this might speed up the time of the coming of the anti-Messiah!

  • Yes, King Cyrus was led by the God of Abraham and he supported this cause.

  • No, I believe that we should all be vegetarians and never kill animals.

  • Yes, our nation will be blessed if we bless the Jewish people.

  • No, this could lead to a war and human life is of more value than any temple!

John the Baptist certainly prepared a people so that they would be ready to understand the much higher level and more challenging ideas given by Rabbi Jesus/Yehoshua but he certainly did not "restore all things" as a final version of Elijah/John the Baptist was predicted to do in our time period!

Matthew 17 (Blue Letter Bible: KJV - King James Version)

Matthew 17:11 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things.

Does "all things" as it is translated into English include the Jerusalem Third Temple described by Ezekiel?

If the final Elijah gets this done.....then guess what a Jewish scholar will term him?????

Moshiach ben Ephrayim and/or The Cyrus type of Isaiah 42 - 46!

The First Redeemer [MESSIAH SON OF JOSEPH] fights against Amalek with total warfare…[he fights against the forces of anti-Semitism]. This was the task of Joshua ben Nun who was [a forerunner and ancestor of] the Messiah Son of Joseph. Aroused by Elijah “Kol HaTor” says [2.71] “Behold I will send you my prophet Elijah…and he will return the hearts of the fathers to their sons” (Malachi 4). One of the tasks of Elijah is to arouse the spirit of the MESSIAH SON OF JOSEPH. Comment:

[Malachi 4:5] BEHOLD, I WILL SEND YOU ELIJAH THE PROPHET BEFORE THE COMING OF THE GREAT AND DREADFUL DAY OF THE LORD: [Malachi 4:6] AND HE SHALL TURN THE HEART OF THE FATHERS TO THE CHILDREN, AND THE HEART OF THE CHILDREN TO THEIR FATHERS, LEST I COME AND SMITE THE EARTH WITH A CURSE.

If the Elijah person as sent into our time period convinces political leaders to begin the process to turn the desert areas of the Islamic nations green....exactly as predicted by the Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him).....then Moslems might well recognize him as the predicted one who would go up against political leaders who are in a mentality of anti-Messiah and by convincing them to change their ways.....they in a sense restore Islam bringing it around to a pattern that was intended by God as perhaps was originally given in an out of the body or near death experience that the Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) once had???

This message posted to an Islamic group February 27, 2012 (that has since then been hidden or removed), has the potential to utterly transform the relationship between the Islamic world and the western democratic nations!

"scientific miracles of islam
Prophet Mohamed (peace be upon him) spoke very carefully about a scientific fact realized by scientists few years ago. He said ( God will not held day of resurrection unless Arab land returns greens and rivers again ) [Narrated by Muslim.]

scientifically, it was proved that one day the Arabian peninsula was full of greens and rivers as satellite photos confirm that there are buried rivers under the sand of Arab land , one of the great scientists of the American space agency (NASA) says that the taken photos for the desert had shown that one day this area was covered with rivers and lakes like Europe and one day in the future it will back again like the past."

In my opinion Mr. Al Gore accomplished more through his film "An Inconvenient Truth" than he could have if he had been elected President. I don't agree with his carbon tax idea partly because if it was planned badly it could rapidly decrease the Global Dimming effect, which would cause rapid Global Warming....which would melt the ice of Greenland and the West Antarctic Ice Sheet even more quickly!

Back in August I heard in the Spirit taht Romney wasDarius. I reseached Darius a Persian king who worsipped smothered God yet funded the rebuilding of the temple o tHE living God of the Jews and maqde decrees in theiir favor...see Ezra
Also in Daniel, it is Darius the mede whose decree at first sent Daniel th lion's den. Yet he prayed all night thatDaniel live and not die.
When Danieal was delivered he thru the satraps, who'd tricked Darius into the decree.....ytheir children and wives into the den.
I am wkorking o. A crafted prayer from the decree Darius wrote upon Daniels deliverance..will post tomorrow. Edie Ren

Mr. Mitt Romney could yet get involved in a plan that gives him far more real wealth to work with than if he had became President and basically had to do what his advisers told him to do!

Proposal for the creation of a Utah or Florida State currency unit.

In my opinion it is going to cost trillions of dollars to do what needs to be done to protect towns like Truro, and Antigonish, Nova Scotia from the consequences of the cracking and sliding of a large part of the West Antarctic Ice Sheet and the land based Greenland Ice Pack into the ocean.

The province of Alberta attempted to create its own provincial currency unit during The Great Depression but enormous pressure was exerted to ensure that their experiment in monetary policy was unsuccessful.

"Not "Funny money"
Following the 1937 Social Credit backbenchers' revolt, the party attempted to implement its radical populist policies, such as the issuance of prosperity certificates to Alberta residents (dubbed "funny money" by detractors) in accordance with the theories of Silvio Gesell. Douglas, the originator of the Social Credit movement, did not like the idea of prosperity certificates which depreciated in value the longer they were held, and openly criticized Gesell's theories.[1]

Early in their term, the Socreds tried to pass two bills that would have placed the province's banks under government control. However, Lieutenant-Governor John C. Bowen refused to grant Royal Assent to the bills. The Supreme Court of Canada subsequently ruled the legislation unconstitutional because only the federal government can legislate on banking."
en.wikipedia.org/w...erta_Social_Credit_Party

The province of Quebec seems to be in much better position to create its own provincial currency unit without facing the massive backlash from the financial community and federal government that Alberta experienced.

Dr. James Hansen has stated that the last time that global temperatures rose by three degrees ocean levels rose by 25 meters over four centuries. Canada and the world are NOT yet prepared for ocean rise of one meter every twenty years.

Nearly one hundred million people in Bangladesh alone will become climate change refugees in the event of merely a one meter rise in ocean levels!

I just ran into a great article on the rebuilding of the Third Temple by Yair Davidiy:

To Rebuild the Temple.
To Rebuild the Temple.
Zechariah and the Future Building.
.........

The Institution of the Fast Days over Destruction of the First Temple.

The Jewish People mourn over the Temple in several ways including fasting on four days a year.

This is recalled in the Book of Zechariah.
[Zechariah 8:19] THE FAST OF THE FOURTH MONTH, - Tammuz.
AND THE FAST OF THE FIFTH, - Av
AND THE FAST OF THE SEVENTH, - Tishrei (Gedaliah)
AND THE FAST OF THE TENTH, - Tebeth (Tevet).
SHALL BE TO THE HOUSE OF JUDAH JOY AND GLADNESS, AND CHEERFUL FEASTS; THEREFORE LOVE THE TRUTH AND PEACE.

The Babylonians destroyed the First Temple in ca. 580 BCE. Later, the Persians conquered Babylonia. Cyrus the Great allowed the Jews of Judah to return and rebuild the Temple.

The rebuilding was completed in the reign of Darius in ca 518/517 BCE, with the Temple Dedication taking place the following year.

The first contingent of Jews to return from Babylon were led by Zerubbabel.
Zerubbabel was a descendant of David and a grandson of King Jehoiacin. He was officially appointed Governor of Judah.

Zerubbabel was accompanied by Joshua who was to serve as High Priest.
Zecharia speaks of Joshua.

The Prophet Iddo, grandfather of Zechariah, also returned with Zerubbabel.
Zerubbabel laid the foundation for rebuilding the Temple but did not complete it.

The First Temple had been destroyed by the Babylonians in the fifth month of Ab. After the Destruction of the Temple most of the Jews were exiled. A small number were allowed to stay under the governorship of Gedaliah who established a center at Mizpah in the territory of Benjamin. Gedaliah was a son of Ahikam and grandson of Shaphan who had been servants of the Kings of Judah.

Yishmael, the son of Nataniah, a descendant of David at the urging of the King of Ammon with ten men murdered Gedaliah and most of the Jews who were with him. The remaining Jews fled to Egypt (Jeremiah 41:2-3). This ended any hopes the Jews still may have had of staying in the Land

The destruction of the Temple had taken place on the fifth Month (Av, Ab).
The final dispersion of the Jews as a result of the murder of Gedaliah by Ishmael occurred in the seventh month (Tishrei).
Consequently, the Jews in Babylonian Exile had fasted on these two months.

Ataxerxes King of Persia sent Ezra to strengthen the community of Jews in Judah. He later sent Nehemiah to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem.

The building of the Second Temple had been discontinued. The building was stopped by the Gentle neighbors of Judah such as the Samaritans who would send slanders concerning the intentions of the Jews to the Kings of Persia. Finally, Darius allowed the building to continue and be completed. The Offering of Sacrifices had been renewed even before the building was finished.

[This Second Temple building was to be completely rebuilt much later in the reign of Herod.]
The completion of the Temple took place in the time of the Prophet Zechariah. A delegation of Jews asked Zechariah whether or not they should continue fasting over the destruction of the First Temple.

I didn't read the book. Here's my take on the temple:
1. Yes, it should be built; because providing a place of worship after that plan was a commandment to the Jews -- just like His commandment for Jews to live in Israel (Ahem!).

2. Yes, Non-Jews have every right to help the Jews in this project. The first temple was contracted to a half-Jewish Lebanese, and built with forced labor. The second temple was inaugurated by Cyrus the Persian and thoroughly rebuilt by King Herod. The temple is to be a house of prayer for the whole world, so we certainly have an interest.

On the other hand,

1. No non-Jewish nation is eager to build the temple. Napoleon had a heart to do it, but was never able to. The Arabs smoke from their ears at the very thought, and probably 80% of Israeli Jews are not interested.

2. If the temple were to be rebuilt, say, today, by a Jewish nation motivated by national zeal, they would give authority over it to the ultra-religious or, at best, the Modern Orthodox. Both hate Christianity with a passion, and would reject Jesus today exactly the way they did 2000 years ago. The best proof that the New Testament is accurate, and was written by Jews, is the fact that the Jews of today exactly match the description of the Jews of Jesus' time.

If it were up to me, I would say, BUILD IT! It is designed to honor the God of the Universe, my God; and its very layout magnifies God's name. At the moment, the Israeli govenment is dead-set against the idea, but this may change.

Awesome answer BlandOatmeal!!!

I have concluded that the years 2028 to 2035 are EXTREMELY significant somehow regarding the rebuilding of the Jerusalem Third Temple complex???!!!

I am of course biased toward the idea that the 2000 anniversary of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus/Yehoshua must come and go and then Rabbi Jesus/Yehoshua himself will Himself be the one that decrees and sends his followers to rebuild the Jerusalem Temple complex......my suspicion is at ZERO cost to the Jerusalem Sanhedrin!!!!!!!!!!

I would love to get your response to the article written by a man from Uganda regarding the Cyrus prophecies of Isaiah 42 to 46??!!

......

Dear brethren,
I salute you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!

RE: SHARING NEW DISCOVERIES OF THE TRUTH IN BIBLE PROPHECY CONCERNING THE IMMINENT HEALING AND UNITY OF THE CHURCH

I am mesmerized by the truth in bible prophecy that the Spirit of God has been revealing over the recent years. Secret things belong to God and those that are revealed belong to us and our children... (Deut 29: 29).

1. King Cyrus the great ruled his country 555 years Before Christ i.e. from 576 BC to 530 BC and authorised the rebuilding of the second temple in Jerusalem. Cyrus of the Old Testament is hence associated with the number 555 and is the shadow figure of incoming Cyrus II of the New Testament. You may learn more about his history from the internet and scriptures. This new truth enables us to identify the leadership of the world that will rebuild the temple in Jerusalem as prophesied in book of Isaiah before the rise of antichrist. Cyrus II is coming to revive the evangelical/Pentecostal church in Jerusalem and restore the headquarters of the church in same city where the church was born. He is set to strip Babylon of the vessels of the temple and the name of the Lord God and transfer that crown back to Jerusalem thus leaving Babylon naked. Cyrus will rebuild the temple in Jerusalem in fulfilment of the prophecy of Jesus as written in the book of John 2:18-23 and the prophecy of Isaiah as written in chapters 40, 41, 45 and 47 of the book of Isaiah. Jesus regarded the temple as the symbol of his own body while saying that he had the power to lay it down on the first day (1st millennium) and rebuild or raise it up on the 3rd day (3rd millennium). Remember that one day in the eyes of God is the same as one thousand years (millennium) as stated in book of 2 Peter 3:8. Rebuilding of the temple is thus associated with unification of the church.

Cyrus II will rebuild the temple in honour of our lord Jesus Christ. The temple will be the unifying (rallying) point of the world wide evangelical church as the original headquarters of the church. Psalms133 denotes that there is such a powerful anointing that comes along with unity among brethren. Unification of the whole body of Jesus Christ will make the church so powerful that she will overrun the world within a short time before the return of our lord Jesus Christ. A divided church is a powerless church whereas a united church is a powerful church. The church can only be able to fulfil her ultimate mission of revealing Jesus to the world once we get united as one body of Jesus Christ following his last prayer for his disciples as written in John 17:20-23.

Cyrus II will erase that false image of Jesus that the counterfeit and Idolatrous state church of Babylon has been projecting around the world and revive the original church that projects the true brilliant image of Jesus Christ. Haggai 2:9 says that the glory of the latter church (temple) will be greater than the glory of the former church (temple). The rise of Cyrus will also usher in the ultimate fulfilment of the prophecy of Joel 2:28 where God intends to pour out His Spirit on all flesh in these last days. The era of Cyrus brings the gentile period of grace to its close and leads to the restoration of the Jewish period of grace and salvation.

2. King Manasseh was the shadow figure (forerunner) of the antichrist in the Old Testament who ruled over Jerusalem exactly 666 years Before Christ i.e. from 697 BC to 642 BC. (2 chronicle 33: 1-2 and 2 kings 21: 1-17). Antichrist is associated with the number 666 as written in the book of Revelation 13:18. Manasseh was the most evil king to have ever ruled over the city of Jerusalem and kingdom of Judah.

Manasseh is reported to have killed so many innocent people in Jerusalem that the streets of Jerusalem were flowing with blood; he worshiped pagan idols and stars; he built pagan alters for idols and stars in the very courtyards of the temple; he sacrificed his sons to idols; he consulted diviners and mediums; he even set up an abominable pagan image at the temple that causes desolation just as the incoming antichrist will do. It was on that basis that God decided to have that first temple destroyed completely since Manasseh had desecrated it.

If you factor in the prophetic destruction of Jerusalem and it's Temple in AD 70, then that would make the next destruction of it around AD 2070 I would think...IMHO
[I won't be around for it unfortunately]

The Destruction of Jerusalem - George Peter Holford, 1805AD

The day on which Titus encompassed Jerusalem, was the feast of the Passover ; and it is deserving of the very particular attention of the reader, that this was the anniversary of that memorable period in which the Jews crucified their Messiah !
At this season multitudes came up from all the surrounding country, and from distant parts, to keep the festival. How suitable and how kind, then, was the prophetic admonition of our LORD, and how clearly he into futurity when he said "Let not them that are in the countries enter into Jerusalem." Luke xxi. 21.......................

The vial of divine wrath, which had been so long pouring out upon this devoted city was now emptying, and JERUSALEM, once "a praise in all the earth," and the subject of a thousand prophecies, deprived of' the staff of life, wrapt in flames, and bleeding on every side sunk into utter ruin and desolation.
This memorable siege terminated on the eighth day of the ninth month, A. D. 70 : its duration was nearly five months, the Romans having invested the city on the fourteenth day of the fourth month, preceeding....................

Hi, Dennis. Thanks for the good word. Let me see what that African fellow wrote...

"Eporu Ronald Alfred

He's from Buganda, SE Uganda -- Anglican country. Sugar factory there -- hard, sticky work, I imagine. My wife's gggreat granfather was a sugar refiner in London. He was a German; the English fetched their sugar workers from Germany, because most Irish wouldn't even do that kind of work. You got sugar splattered on you from the vats, and it stuck to your sweat and clung to your skin. The heat of the place was intolerable, even in England. I imagine it's not any better in Uganda. Some people are REALLY looking forward to the resurrection!

"...1. King Cyrus the great ruled his country 555 years Before Christ i.e. from 576 BC to 530 BC and authorised the rebuilding of the second temple in Jerusalem. Cyrus of the Old Testament is hence associated with the number 555..."

This means nothing.

"and is the shadow figure of incoming Cyrus II of the New Testament...."

I checked in AV, NIV-UK and New English Bibles. No mention of a Cyrus in NT.

"Cyrus II is coming to revive the evangelical/Pentecostal church in Jerusalem and restore the headquarters of the church in same city where the church was born...."

David Koresh of the Branch Davidians fancied that he was a new "Cyrus". I don't think he was.

"He is set to strip Babylon of the vessels of the temple and the name of the Lord God and transfer that crown back to Jerusalem thus leaving Babylon naked..."

Dennis, if it starts out this badly, I'm not really interested in the rest. If and when the Jews decide to rebuild הבית הקדוש. If they want help from the goiim, great! In the end times, though, there is no "Cyrus", no FOREIGN leader who will give the Jews "permission" to build.the temple, seeing that the temple mount is entirely in Jewish hands. The modern-day Cyrus who wrote the edict for the Jews to return to their homeland was the Earl of Balfour:

An interesting theory on the Earl of Balfour!!!!!!

The time may come when people who felt that their work was relatively insignificant may find out that they accomplished something that was actually quite colossal!!!!!????

People wont have to build that it will come down from heaven right? If a temple comes down from heaven I won't oppose it. I just don't want people to bulldoze the dome of the rock (thus starting a massive war) so they can build one themselves. If God personally does it I won't mind. He can make it fit over the dome of the rock or even use it to smash it if he wants too. Honestly I don't see either happening but if people want to have faith it will there is nothing wrong with that imo. When they start advocating that humans do it then it becomes a real hindrance to peace though.

I am curious what you think of this article Illuminaughty!

It seems that something relevant to the Temple Mount may well be scheduled for 2015????!!

Personally I had chills going up and down my spine as I read through this!!!

September 13, 2015, A Reoccurring Dream - Buck Stephens - Secrets of a Supernatural World

An interesting event took place in the last year of Jubilee 1966-67. It was in that year that Israel captured Jerusalem, taking back that land in the 6 day war. Spurred on with this discovery, I
counted back another 50 years to see what occurred in that year. In the year of Jubilee previous to that, 1917-1918, General Allenby of Britain captured Jerusalem from the Turks. These two years of Jubilee marked God’s first two steps in returning the land of the Ancient nation of Israel back to its
original owners, the modern day nation of Israel.

The reason for my counting back 2 years of Jubilee from the one starting in 2015 was important to me because I recognized the significance of the number 3 to God. In Hebrew and in the Bible, numbers are very significant to God and He uses them to place His signature on events in history. In fact in my book, Secrets of a Supernatural World, Near Death Revelations of the Ancient World and the Future, I explore the significance of a variety of numbers in which God places His fingerprints on the events of mankind. The significance of the number 3 is that it refers to a divine order (i.e., the trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Jesus rose the 3rd day,etc.). God also in the Bible tells us that a thing is confirmed upon the witness of 2 or 3. Therefore when searching, I always explore patterns of the numbers 3 and 7, the number of spiritual perfection or completion as well as other numbers, sometimes discovering patterns and sometimes not. So assuming the date in my dreams could be a number 3 of a pattern of events, I was interested in what occurred in numbers 1 and 2 in this sequence of 3 Years of Jubilee, with number 3 starting in 2015. There is a connection! If this is a pattern of 3, then we must conclude that something significant occurs in the next year of Jubilee which starts at the end of September 13, 2015. We can also conclude that it must have to do with land in Jerusalem reverting back to its original owner (Israel) as the year of Jubilee demands and which also had occurred in 1917-18 and 1966-67.

Hmmm… Is there any land in Jerusalem not in the hands of the original owners? Yes, there is! Presently, the only land not in the hands of the original owners, the Nation of Israel is…the Temple Mount!

I was so excited by my discovery, I was sure I had discovered the significance of the date when the
LORD said to me…”you’re not done yet”!

I realized that I must check the pattern of 7.

Restating the above more simply as we move forward, 2015 is not only a Sabbatical year which occurs once every 7 years but it also starts the beginning of the Jubilee year which occurs once every 50 years. Both events focus on economic matters, breaking the yoke of financial bondage, resting the land, providing for the poor and showing a dependence on God in faith as their source to prosper the nation and provide for their needs.

What does this mean? I sought the LORD’s answers as I dug deeper into the significance of the 29th
of Elul which wanders around the months of September and October on the Gregorian calendar, falling on different days in different years.

I curiously wondered about the date of the 29th of Elul in the previous Sabbatical year relative
to the one which will fall in 2015. I then assuming again that year 2015 is a number 7 year in a divine order pattern of 3, I began counting backwards 7 years from 2015 and arriving at the year 2008. I discovered that the 29th of Elul fell in that year on September 29th. I began researching the events of this date to view any significant occurrences. As the results of my
research were presented, my heart began to beat faster as I uttered the words; “O my dear LORD!” I was so unsettled by what I had discovered I had to get out of my chair and walk around as I contemplated what I had just observed.

Can't Jews build a temporary Temple on another site, such as the Mount of Olives? I understand just how holy the Temple Mount is (it has the Holy of Holies), but for the time being, can't the Jews make do with another location? It's not like they have the Ark of the Covenant, which is essential for the Holy of Holies.
Hello, Supreme

The Jews have many synagogues, which one denomination calls "temples". Building them, however, did not fulfill the commandment concerning the building of the temple. The temple on Temple Mount, "Beit HaMikdash", was to be built according to a particular fashion, on the location the LORD designated:

Deuteronomy 12
[1] These are the statutes and judgments, which ye shall observe to do in the land, which the LORD God of thy fathers giveth thee to possess it, all the days that ye live upon the earth.
[2] Ye shall utterly destroy all the places, wherein the nations which ye shall possess served their gods, upon the high mountains, and upon the hills, and under every green tree:
[3] And ye shall overthrow their altars, and break their pillars, and burn their groves with fire; and ye shall hew down the graven images of their gods, and destroy the names of them out of that place.
[4] Ye shall not do so unto the LORD your God.
[5] But unto the place which the LORD your God shall choose out of all your tribes to put his name there, even unto his habitation shall ye seek, and thither thou shalt come:
[6] And thither ye shall bring your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, and your tithes, and heave offerings of your hand, and your vows, and your freewill offerings, and the firstlings of your herds and of your flocks:
[7] And there ye shall eat before the LORD your God, and ye shall rejoice in all that ye put your hand unto, ye and your households, wherein the LORD thy God hath blessed thee.
[8] Ye shall not do after all the things that we do here this day, every man whatsoever is right in his own eyes.
[9] For ye are not as yet come to the rest and to the inheritance, which the LORD your God giveth you.
[10] But when ye go over Jordan, and dwell in the land which the LORD your God giveth you to inherit, and when he giveth you rest from all your enemies round about, so that ye dwell in safety;
[11] Then there shall be a place which the LORD your God shall choose to cause his name to dwell there; thither shall ye bring all that I command you; your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, your tithes, and the heave offering of your hand, and all your choice vows which ye vow unto the LORD:
[12] And ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God, ye, and your sons, and your daughters, and your menservants, and your maidservants, and the Levite that is within your gates; forasmuch as he hath no part nor inheritance with you.
[13] Take heed to thyself that thou offer not thy burnt offerings in every place that thou seest:
[14] But in the place which the LORD shall choose in one of thy tribes, there thou shalt offer thy burnt offerings, and there thou shalt do all that I command thee.

That is straightforward, leaving no room for doubt. As for the place God chose for His temple, it has been known since ancient times, and is marked today by the Dome of the Rock. That monument, of course, having been a place of idolatrous worship of a strange god (Allah), must be destroyed.

The majority of commandments that Jews consider themselves bound to, involve the presence of the temple in its rightful place. The "Galut Judaism", which we are familiar with today as "Judaism", does not actually involve the practice of Torah, but the continual re-enacting of REMEMBRANCES of the time when Torah was actually practiced. There are some in Israel who, rightly, want the real thing.

Awesome answer on this topic BlandOatmeal!!!!!

I ran into a theory in the writings of Grant R. Jeffrey Ph. D. regarding the possibility of a REPLICA ARK OF THE COVENANT!!!!????

If in fact it is true that King Solomon was guided to have a replica made for his son through the Queen of Sheba.....so that his son could take this replica back to Ethiopia/Sheba with him when he left to inherit his kingdom.........then the possibility of an ancient replica of the Ark of the Covenant dating back to the time of King Solomon has some sort of implications that I assume are YET to be revealed?????!!!!

This information could be relevant to Supreme's question of a second place for sacrifices???????!!!!

Here is a quotation from Dr. Grant R. Jeffrey on this fascinating topic:

//In a September 1935, article in the National Geographic magazine, L. Roberts recorded his interviews with various priests in different parts of Ethiopia who consistently told the same story. They recounted that the Queen of Sheba had visited King Solomon and had had "a child", Menelik I. Solomon educated the lad in Jerusalem until he was nineteen years old. The boy then returned to Ethiopia with a large group of Jews, taking with him the true Ark of the Covenant.....

//The Ethiopian official national epic known as the Glory of the Kings (Kebra-Nagasi) contains an amazing story which offers an explanation of what happened to the Ark of the Covenant. In addition, there are several Ethiopian murals which tell how the Ark and the Tablets of the Law were taken to Ethiopia for safekeeping by Prince Menelik I. ..... The Queen of Sheba, his mother, had died and the prince prepared to leave Jerusalem to return twenty-five hundred miles to his native country to become its king.

Prince Menelik bore an uncanny resemblance in beauty and regal bearing to his father. King Solomon wanted to give him a replica of the Ark to take with him to Ethiopia because the long distance would prevent him from ever again worshipping at the temple in Jerusalem.

However Prince Menelik was concerned with the growing apostasy of Israel and the fact that his father, Solomon was now allowing idols to be placed in the Temple to please his pagan wives. King Solomon gave the prince a going-away banquet and after the priests were filled with wine, Menelik and his loyal associates switched arks and left the replica in its place in the Holy of Holies.// (Grant Jeffrey, [page 115, Armageddon, Appointment with Destiny).

D. 70 : its duration was nearly five months, the Romans having invested the city on the fourteenth day of the fourth month, preceeding....................

.

.

Good theory!!! Yes....I do have to admit that the year 2070 has crossed my mind as well???!!!

I guess I have a bias for Passover 2030 to Yom Kippur 2031 being more relevant because I am suspecting that 3000 years/ 3 prophetic days, from the death burial and resurrection of Messiah Jesus/Yeshua.....would perhaps correspond to the fulfillment of Revelation chapter 21.

Another valid question though about the New Jerusalem is whether or not humans who are still merely human can even see it at all????!!

Does that new Jerusalem exist only in five dimensional space - time and above. In a five dimensional universe electromagnetism apparently is a part of gravity....but time is altered????!!

Matthew 12:40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

John 2:19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.

Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?
But he spake of the temple of his body. "

At this time I have wondered if Messiah Jesus/Yeshua is, along with his angels going into the prison camp hell environments in order to bring up the dead to a higher level????!!!

Romans 11:32 For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.

Does it take 3000 years for Messiah Jesus/Yeshua to finish his preaching to the deceased.....and "restore the lost tribes of Israel" at a level that is difficult for us to even imagine?????!!!

1Peter 3:18For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; "

I have a difficult time imagining that there is zero connection between John 2:19 with Revelation chapter 21????????!!!!!

So.....if the year 3030 - 3031 is highly significant regarding Revelation chapter 21 then this seems to put more importance on the year 2030 to 2031??????!!!! (But yes 2070 is certainly important as well????!!!!

Revelation 21 (Blue Letter Bible: KJV - King James Version)

Rev 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

Hi, Dennis

There is a site about attempts to find the Ark in Ethiopia:

Italian Quest for the Ark of Covenant in Ethiopia | Annoyz View

Whether the Ark survives or no, is a moot point: In King Solomon's day,

I Kings 8:
[9] There was nothing in the ark save the two tables of stone, which Moses put there at Horeb, when the LORD made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of the land of Egypt.

Aaron's rod, and the pot of manna, were missing by then, possibly taken by the Philistines or by Eli's wicked sons. The point I'm making, is that the rod and the manna were not necessary for the construction of the First Temple.

When the Second Temple was constructed, the Ark itself was missing, as it is today, yet the Temple was constructed without it, after God's instruction through Haggai, and God blessed that temple and Jesus did pilgrimage to it.

The bottom line is that the Ark is not necessary; and if that is the case, neither are any of the other original articles. What have been consistently maintained are the general layout and the location.

Hi, Dennis

There is a site about attempts to find the Ark in Ethiopia:

For the record I also am convinced that the original location will be the site for the Jerusalem Third or Fourth Temple complex as described by Ezekiel!

I just got to another article by Pastor Buck Stephens:

Rabbi Judah Ben Samuel wrote:
“When the Ottomans (Turks)conquer Jerusalem they will rule over Jerusalem for eight jubilees. Afterwards Jerusalem will become no-man’s land for one jubilee, and then in the ninth jubilee it will once again come back into the possession of the Jewish nation – which would signify the beginning of the Messianic end time
Judah the Pious as this Rabbi was also known looked into the future with amazing accuracy as we now can see as we look back. However it would be exactly 300 years before the first part of his prophesy came true. Let me briefly review his writing stated above part by part in the light of recorded history.
“When the Ottomans (Turks)conquer Jerusalem they will rule over Jerusalem for eight jubilees”…
6a014e888efe7e970d017c381edc0c970b-pi

In 1517 AD, Jerusalem was conquered by the Ottomans or the Turks just as Rabbi Judah had prophesied over 300 years earlier. He also said that they would rule over Jerusalem for 8 Jubilees. Since a Jubilee is a period of 50 years, that means the Ottomans would rule over Jerusalem for 400 years! As we recounted in Part I and above, it was in 1917, the year of Jubilee, our first in a pattern of 3 years of Jubilee that General Allenby of the British army captured Jerusalem from the Turks and Jews began to return to their homeland. Let’s do the math; 1917 - 1517 = 400 years!
“Afterwards Jerusalem will become no-man’s land for one jubilee” …
From the year of Jubilee 1916 - 1917 until the next Jubilee year which started in 1966-67, no one ruled over Jerusalem as the British continued to maintain order while Jews returned and reorganized in the land of Israel and then became a restored nation in 1948 after World War II. However Jerusalem was still under Arab/Muslim domination.

“…and then in the ninth jubilee it will once again come back into the possession of the Jewish nation”…
Interestingly Rabbi Judah speaks of Jerusalem coming back into the possession of the Jewish nation which in his time had ceased to exist in reality. His statement implies that when Jerusalem came back into the hands of the Jewish nation which it did during the 6 Day War in 1966-67, the second year of Jubilee in our pattern of 3, the nation is implied by his statement to already exist! In fact it did…as of 1948!

This is the Jubilee (50 year period) in which we now are living! Rabbi Judah has been incredibly accurate so far…Is it possible we will see the Messiah come at this time? Remember, Rabbi Judah was an orthodox Jew, one who rejects Jesus Christ as Messiah…so the Messiah he is looking for is…the anti-Christ! The one he was looking for will come, win the Jew’s trust and then will betray them causing them to recognize the true Messiah, Yeshua Ha Meshiach, Jesus the Christ! Yes, if the rabbi’s accuracy continues…this next Jubilee would usher in the appearance of both the false and then subsequently the true Messiah! (Buck Stephens)

Now I personally disagree with this assertion by Buck Stephens that the Jews are looking for the anti-Messiah. I believe the Jewish people are looking forward to the final Elijah.....who Messiah Jesus/Yeshua stated would "restore all things" which could well include the Jerusalem Third Temple!!!

There are interesting similarities between the work of the final Elijah as revealed in Christian scriptures with the work of somebody termed Moshiach ben Ephrayim in Jewish scriptures!!!!???

After the final Elijah I am convinced that there will be a merely human Cyrus type.......who will actually get the Jerusalem Third Temple complex built......I believe at no cost to the Jewish people.....with the possible exception for the furnishings!!!!???

Orthodox Jewish scholar Yair Davidiy has written up a theory on whether or not the Moshiach ben Ephrayim person could also be the Cyrus type.....that is certainly a possibility as well!!!!

I believe that we Christian scholars have a tendency to be so scared of this anti-Messiah guy that we tend to see him in places where we probably should not???!!!

So many theories, so many dates... If you could plot the frequency of prophesied "End of the World" dates, perhaps you could reckon the approximate date of the Perousia... and then? What? As far as I'm concerned, the end-time Battle of Armageddon has already begun: It is the ridiculous, nearly universal opposition of the nations of the world against Israel. My concern, therefore, isn't about when it will happen (It's happening!" I am concerned that God's people don't end up fighting God's people.

My guess is near death experience accounts will play a huge role in dividing us over the short term.

I was basically FIVE ENTIRE YEARS attempting to get my head around a yes or no to the question of....."is the being of light who appears to people during a NDE......The G-d of Abraham.....or is it the Devil appearing as an angel of light!"

I came to the conclusion that in cases where the being of light appears......and people are given a review of their life.......Baruch 6:6 kicks into gear........there is a promise from the G-d of Abraham to meet with all of us and review/judge our performance..........because in a sense all of us are like volunteer actors sent down here to play a role.........Yes....it is more complicated than that....but that is part of what is going on!!!!???

Did Mr. Christian Crowell plan a revival before he was even born????
This morning I got an invitation to a group formed to keep people updated who are praying for God to heal a five year old boy who is suffering from cancer.

I read his mom's blog and posted the link to my wall on Facebook:

Christian's Fight

Megan Crowell:
Christian's Fight

This is the ongoing story of our five year old son's battle with stage 3 Rhabdomyosarcoma in his abdomen. He has recently relapsed and we have been told he has an 'incurable' form of cancer. Over the past 19 months he has endured chemo, radiation and 3 intense surgeries. He is our little hero and an amazing example of the adversity that children can overcome. God is our Healer, now that medicine is done, GOD will begin. All the glory belongs to HIM
