Have you not listened to her testimony? She sounds like a thirteen year old girl. In addition, given all the hype concerning her education, she didn't even know what the term exculpatory meant? A PHD in psychology and she doesn't know how a polygraph is conducted? She just remembers things all over her body? This is insane.
Actually, I don't like the Democrats delaying. I didn't like the Republicans delaying. I think that the Senate has a duty to confirm nominees and not play games. But if that's the case, Garland should be on the court right now. The Republicans started a dangerous game and, sadly, it's going to continue. If the Democrats took the Senate in the midterms, they will sit on every single nominee so long as they have power.
Because of the 2 men that just appeared yesterday to claim they did it to Ford, it would be best to slow down now, and investigate them, and bring more to light. Bring more of these recent things of the last several days, the new accusers and the 2 men -- investigate all regarding all they say. Bring more things into the light, because the more that is lit up in light the better off we are as a nation. There are times to go quicker, and times to slow up. This is a time we should slow down and find out more about these new things from the last several days.
I watched all of the Clarence Thomas Anita Hill hearings. That was even more interesting then this one. Although the end result is turning out to be pretty much the same. You have a rude, crude, dude that upset a overly sensitive female. But no law was broken. The only difference was Thomas was only verbal and in this case actually physical contact took place. Today it is against the law for a man to touch a women and for a women to touch a man without verbal consent. Actually in this state a drunk person can not give verbal consent. You guys never watch CSPAN before? Scripted opening remarks are SOP.
Could be. If he did it or not. I am not so sure a law was broken. She said in her drunken state she managed to escape. Interpretation, she resisted and he let her go. She was traumatized and so she has a strong memory. But that does not mean her memory is accurate. There are more gaps in her story then Swiss cheese. She is constantly talking about her lack of memory and what she did not remember.Perhaps, but I suspect that this guy will be confirmed to the Supreme Court before the end of next month.

A big part of her wants to know the perspective of the perpetrator in this issue. Because she fully realizes that his perspective and his story is going to be different from hers and she would like to know how he looks at what happened. Could be she would say I am sorry I was over sensitive to what happened but I do realize that you did not mean me any harm.
She exp wants Mark to testify. She really want to know what he as to say about this other then to deny anything happened.
I basically agree. This Nov could be one of the more important elections in my lifetime.
Per testimony, Feinstein did not have permission to release the letter to the committee. She had to keep it confidential. It would have been wise to reopen the FBI background check reopened before this.My bottom line is that today's interview never should have happened. Feinstein should have revealed the letter in private executive session of the whole committee as soon as she got it. Then appropriate investigations could have been made privately, sparing the principals and the entire body politic this painful, divisive drama. But instead it was leaked raw to the media 2 months later, after the main hearings had been concluded. And here we are.
I find the testimony of Dr. Blasey Ford to be VERY credible.
This is pathetic. That the Republicans agreed to this format is pathetic.
She remembers walking home. Her testimony is very in much in line with how sexual assault victims will remember the worse part very well, and the other things are hazier. Then she should be able to remember how she got home from this supposed get together.
"Can't wait until a Dem is President and we can trot out some women to ruin all of their candidates." - What all of the Republicans are thinking.
I think the bank accounts of the "witness" and all her close relatives should be checked out. I bet there were some recent large donations into them.
This place is pretty gross. Not a lot of Christian attitudes in this forum.
