I remember this line not only from the Bible but as it was spoken to Maria by the Mother Superior of the abbey in The Sound of Music.

I lift up my eyes to the hills --
where does my help come from? or some versions say..."from whence cometh my strength."

This was spoken just before the Von Trapp Family singers escaped from the Nazi's over the mountains into Switzerland.

It is taken from Psalm 121.

"I lift up my eyes to the hills --
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.

He will not let your foot slip --
he who watches over you will not slumber;
indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord watches over you --
the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.

The Lord will keep you from all harm --
he will watch over your life;
the Lord will watch over your
coming and going
both now and forevermore.

Psalms 65

Psa 65:1 [[To the chief Musician, A Psalm [and] Song of David.]] Praise waiteth for thee, O God, in Sion: and unto thee shall the vow be performed.

Psa 65:2 O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come.

Psa 65:3 Iniquities prevail against me: [as for] our transgressions, thou shalt purge them away.

Psa 65:4 Blessed [is the man whom] thou choosest, and causest to approach [unto thee, that] he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, [even] of thy holy temple.

Psa 65:5 [By] terrible things in righteousness wilt thou answer us, O God of our salvation; [who art] the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of them that are afar off [upon] the sea:

Psa 65:6 Which by his strength setteth fast the mountains; [being] girded with power:

Psa 65:7 Which stilleth the noise of the seas, the noise of their waves, and the tumult of the people.

Psa 65:8 They also that dwell in the uttermost parts are afraid at thy tokens: thou makest the outgoings of the morning and evening to rejoice.

Psa 65:9 Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it: thou greatly enrichest it with the river of God, [which] is full of water: thou preparest them corn, when thou hast so provided for it.

Psa 65:10 Thou waterest the ridges thereof abundantly: thou settlest the furrows thereof: thou makest it soft with showers: thou blessest the springing thereof.

Psa 65:11 Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness.

Psa 65:12 They drop [upon] the pastures of the wilderness: and the little hills rejoice on every side.

Psa 65:13 The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, they also sing.

~ Psalm 80:14-19 ~
Return to us, O God Almighty!
Look down from heaven and see!
Watch over this vine, the root your right hand has planted,
the son you have raised up for yourself.
Your vine is cut down, it is burned with fire;
at your rebuke your people perish.
Let your hand rest on the man at your right hand,
the son of man you have raised up for yourself.
Then we will not turn away from you;
revive us, and we will call on your name.
Restore us, O LORD God Almighty;
make your face shine upon us,
that we may be saved.

Psalm 18:1-19 I lay in a hospital recovery room after about a week in ICU with a respirator tube down my esophogus; from lungs that were in shock, when my wife read this to me.

Great is the Lord and most
worthy of praise;
his greatness no one can
fathom.
One generation will commend
your works to another;
they will tell of your mighty acts.

They will speak of the glorious
splendor of your majesty,
and I will meditate on your
wonderful works.

They will tell of the power of
your awesome works,
and I will proclaim your
great deeds.

They will celebrate your
abundant goodness
and joyfully sing of your
righteousness. [Psalm 145:1-7]

Make a joyful noise unto the Lord,all ye lands.
Serve the Lord with gladness;come before his presents with singing.
Know ye that the Lord he is God:it is he that hath made us,and not we ourselves;we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him,and bless his name.
For the Lord is good;his mercy is everlasting;and his truth endureth to all generations. Psalm 100:1-5 :clap:

Psalms 32:7-10

You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble
and surround me with songs of deliverance.

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will guide you with My eye.
Do not be like the horse or like the mule, Which have no understanding,
Which must be harnessed with bit and bridle, Else they will not come near you.
Many sorrows shall be to the wicked; But he who trusts in the LORD, mercy shall surround him.

Shout for joy to the Lord, all
the earth.
Worship the Lord with
gladness;
come before him with
joyful songs.
Know that the Lord is God.
It is he who made us, and
we are his;
we are his people, the sheep
of his pasture. [Psalm 100:1-3]

~ Psalm 84 ~

How lovely is Your tabernacle,
O LORD of hosts!
My soul longs, yes, even faints
For the courts of the LORD;
My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.

Even the sparrow has found a home,
And the swallow a nest for herself,
Where she may lay her young—
Even Your altars, O LORD of hosts,
My King and my God.
Blessed are those who dwell in Your house;
They will still be praising You. Selah

Blessed is the man whose strength is in You,
Whose heart is set on pilgrimage.
As they pass through the Valley of Baca,
They make it a spring;
The rain also covers it with pools.
They go from strength to strength;
Each one appears before God in Zion.

O LORD God of hosts, hear my prayer;
Give ear, O God of Jacob! Selah
O God, behold our shield,
And look upon the face of Your anointed.

For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand.
I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God
Than dwell in the tents of wickedness.
For the LORD God is a sun and shield;
The LORD will give grace and glory;
No good thing will He withhold
From those who walk uprightly.

O LORD of hosts,
Blessed is the man who trusts in You!
