CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

How long was she there? I hope she got to do some sight-seeing. It's been a number of years since we've been to San Antonio, maybe eleven or twelve I guess. Strangely enough, an aunt & uncle of my husband, from NY, had a time share there and invited us to stay with them for a week. Don't know if they still have it, probably not, they're well on in years now.

Between travel time and conference she was gone about a week. Fight home was delayed. Flew from San A. to Dallas to Chicago, stayed in a hotel, then another flight to closer airport where her friend's car was parked. She got home hours later than anticipated, but safe and sound!
My grandmother and several relatives whom I met after my marriage lived in S.A.
I forgot to ask about site-seeing!

80 F at the moment. Only down to 63 tonight. It's nice to have a window open at night though!

Thank you for the prayers. Although it wasn't easy I survived. LOL: I fell into a wall in a public office but not on the floor and then caught my balance! My oh my! I hope the coming week is easier.
