I always get the feeling Christians are selling me a ticket to heaven, but they don't seem to know what heaven is like. Oh they can describe hell though, and that makes me wonder.

So what's heaven like Christians.

That's normal unless you want Christians to fabricate things. Jesus once said, if we can't believe in earthly things He's talking about, it's no point to tell us heavenly things. So actually, the Bible doesn't intend to talk about the details of heaven intensively.

An analogue, someone saw a terrorist bomb and thus tries hard to urge people to go away to a safe place. It's normal that he can describe the details of how the bomb looks like, it's no point for him to describe the details of what a safe place should look like!
