I've been referring to that passage for a long time.

It's because of the indwelling Holy Spirit, God's mark or seal of those having believed, who is a deposit who guarantees our inheritance until the redemption of God's possession.

Those are clearly stated words about eternal security.

And you can't explain it away. All you can do is reject the truth.

Tell that to the Lord Jesus Christ. What is really sick and twisted, is coming up with every conceivable scenario in the world to murder other brothers and sisters who have His Promise and forever seal of God for their salvation. Loss of salvation in reality is an affront and attack on the very virtue and integrity of our Lord and Savior.

Believing you could live as you might wish to, abandon God, trample the blood of Jesus underfoot...
and still be saved...
is the true attack on the integrity of our Lord and Savior.

Mathew 7:23 JESUS SAID

Lawlessness is a life not in keeping with God's commandments.

It's rather intellectually dishonest of you to ask if I don't believe Jesus was a man and connect that to the anti-Christ.

I'd say the anti-Christs are those that teach doctrine that is not biblical and that could cause some to lose their salvation.

They will have God to answer to.

So the Father could possibly remove Jesus' seal, that is EXACTLY the same seal he put's on believers. OK. He can do what ever He want's.

It’s interesting to note that there is a vast amount of NT Scripture that address those who profess to be in Christ but have never been, and have even been used by the Spirit in the work of God but not in Christ, i.e. Matthew 7:21.

The Lord also reveals this concept in Matthew 15:8 and in Mark 7:6 Jesus exposes false professors. James doesn’t fail in describing a false profession by the four words “A man may say” (2:18).

But I'll give a hint. In the parable of the prodigal, the father described his son (who remained alive throughout the narrative) as lost and dead. But what we know is that the son left the father in a state of broken fellowship, since asking for his inheritance was normally given AFTER the death of the father, so asking while the father was still alive was tantamount to telling his father he wished his father was DEAD already.

But never mind the facts. I know your mind is already made up.

No, you've got it wrong again! The Holy Spirit is GIVEN (not promised) to those who believe.

No, but they're still sealed with the Holy Spirit until the redemption of God's possession, per Eph 1:14, and they still possess eternal life, per John 10:28, because they were born again of imperishable seed, per 1 Pet 1:23.

So all of this proves that they are still saved.

There is nothing in v.28 that will answer your bogus question. The answer comes from v.27; His sheep are given eternal life. As I've already explained many times.

The real attack on the integrity of our Lord and Savior is the claim that those He saves have more power than He and those He gives eternal life who rebel WILL perish, which only proves that He is a liar.
