Count me as one. I am a baby in bible doctrine, and your a treasure trove of doctrine.
Honestly, can't wait to shake your hand and give you a Bro hug in the eternal state......That's if I make it!![]()
Knowing how much you reject Scripture that disagrees and refutes your opinions, I'm going to explain that verse, for the benefit of this thread, since I know you'll reject it.
As always, the key is the concept of "abiding". Moreover, the concept of John's 'abiding' is always that it is a reciprocal relationship, even as Jesus said, "Abide in Me, as I abide in you" in John 15:4.
Since Christ Himself IS eternal life (1 John 5:20), to say that someone does not have eternal life abiding in him is equivalent to saying that he does not have Christ abiding in him.
I know how you'll twist this into a perverted idea of losing salvation, but that is impossible because Jesus said recipients of eternal life shall never, no, not ever, perish.
But you have been very clear that you believe that recipients of eternal life CAN perish.
Your argument is strictly with Jesus.
Freegrace has glorified the Lord Jesus Christ. You glorify JLB.Hopefully you will mature and see you are receiving false doctrine from a false teacher who is poisoning you with Heresy.
Which you turn around and promote.
Please repent.

Is a sheep [born again Christian] who wanders away and becomes lost, saved or unsaved, just or unjust, sinner or saint?
I'm not sure why you brought this up, but my question is:John 20:20-23
The (11) disciples then rejoiced when they saw the Lord.
21 So Jesus said to them again,
“Peace be with you; as the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”
22 And when He had said this, He breathed on them and said to them,
“Receive (God) the Holy Spirit.
23 If you forgive the sins of any, their sins have been forgiven them;
if you retain the sins of any, they have been retained.”
When the apostles died, their temporary sign gift of forgiveness of sins died.
You can't take the truth.Freegrace has glorified the Lord Jesus Christ. You glorify JLB.
I will stick with the Truth.
He's a brother from another mother!
Don't be so disconcerted!Gods seal can be rescinded?
John 6:27~~New American Standard Bible
"Do not work for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you, for on Him the Father, God, has set His seal."
I find it very disconcerting that a Christian believes that the Father will perhaps rescind the Son's seal.

Your question is a good one - they cannot answer it probably, and if they do, maybe they still do not understand why ........ it is difficult to tell about them.... (a mystery in darkness)

OSAS to answer this question from the scriptures.
What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it? And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!’ I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance. Luke 15:4-7

Yeah, really. If you have a problem, tell it to Jesus.Really?
Paul was clear on this; you will be denied reigning with Christ. If you deny Christ, what does scripture say Christ does?
How about this: if someone does try to change the meaning of any verse to match their own theology, go ahead and point it out.Not around this thread. I am sure someone will attempt to change the meaning of those verses to match the theology they seem to love more than they love Christ.
"WHEN one believes, they are PERMANENTLY sealed with the Spirit, as God's own possession
I do believe you haven't.I DO believe I have.
Of course I don't. Your disagreement cannot be supported from Scripture. You just don't accept it.
And I've used many verses...[/QUTOE]
Of course you have. As have many others.
But, so what? NONE of your list, nor anyone else's, says anything close to what you and they claim about losing salvation.
Yes, I, otoh, HAVE provided very clearly worded verses about the permanence of our salvation. But, you just don't accept it.You otoh.....
I don't even understand how you think you can ask this!?
In your theology we are not born again and do not become sheep until we have worked ourselves to death.
Everybody has to answer, " I don't know" based on your theology.
