May I suggest it is better to learn about Christ than Christians? He is perfect, they are not. A good bible study class, perhaps they offer one here. Happy learning!

Is Luciferian a branch of Satanism?

Actually, the two are quite different. Satanism (the LaVeyan variant, at least) is atheistic in outlook and regards Satan and what he (supposedly) represents as an ideal to strive for.

A Luciferian, on the other hand, believes God and Lucifer are very real, in the classical Abrahamic sense. A Luciferian is one who has chosen to take the side of Lucifer, typically because of an opinion that God is evil and Lucifer's cause is just.

That's the simple version of it, though I suspect I've already gone wrong somewhere.
