CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Thank you, Miss S&S. I am actually five days behind myself since I accidentally left my MEV Bible in Magnolia when I went up there last week to start cleaning the place and unpacking and all, so I haven't even gotten to Hosea yet and am pretty determined to use only the MEV this go-round since it is new to me. So I won't be catching up until a few days from now when I am back in Magnolia permanently.

@Multifavs and @Swords&Sunflowers , if you do not mind I would like to take time off from updating this thread for a week or so, so that I have time to catch back up in my own reading, seeing as I just now got hold of my MEV Bible again last night. I will start this back up next Friday or Saturday.
