There are analogies spoken by Jesus that the human unsaved will be destroyed; that hell was made for Satan and his angels, eternal beings. Man is mortal.

Luke 9:25
For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and is himself destroyed or lost?

Luke 17:27
They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.

Luke 17:29
but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all.

I agree with this as well. It says it very clearly in the first chapter of Genesis. I also went to a non-denominational bible study earlier this week that emphasized it as well.

Maybe God would provide plants that grow "animal free" steaks or something though.

For crying out loud!! Where did I say that! I said there is a hell---sinners go there and they will spend however much time and suffer as much pain as God sees fit according to their works and then they are no more. Please don't add to what I said. We don't burn off sins---those who are not covered by the blood of the Lamb will pay for their own sins.

Yeah,... I confess my first thought was about my BLT sandwich habit. A couple few slices of bacon are the perfect garnish on a well buttered , peppered, & salted pile of hot corn grits, yes indeed.

Yes--it is a matter of interpretation of certain words. Too long for this thread, but eternal dire is not always eternal!
Jud_1:7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

Sodom and Gomorrah are not still burning---they are however, still burned up and their smoke is still going up. The same for the word "forever." There are many examples in the bible that speak of something being forever--a servant was bound to their master forever, Hannah gave Samuel to be in the temple forever--and many more---it wasn't forever--but until that individual died. I'm not going to list them all right now---it would take forever!
There are something like 25 verses that seem to indicate an everlasting hell, there are around 28 that say otherwise. When in doubt---I err on the side of the character of God.
Rev_14:10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
