Yes it did. What is happening now is ridiculous. Joe wouldn't redo the deal with Mexico. The point is that the remain in Mexico policy didn't stop the flow of illegal immigrants across the border.
Respectfully, the numbers don't lie. The policy was implemented in January of 2019. As shown below the flow didn't stop, it increased even though remain in Mexico was the policy.Yes it did. What is happening now is ridiculous. Joe wouldn't redo the deal with Mexico.
Justices Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh dissented. The Constitution places all responsibility of securing our national borders on the Federal Government. The SC ruled against this by a margin of 5-to-4, saying "that Texas is not permitted to protect itself from illegal border crossers. None of the justices provided any explanation for their vote."
"BUT the way that the Fed. Gov. is choosing to secure the border appears to be a violation of Article IV Section 4 of the Constitution.
"The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion;..."
Justices Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh dissented.
Looks like Justices Barrett and Robert's sold out, I don't get Justice Barrett siding with the liberals, Robert's yes?
It's a temporary decision, understandable in that the federal government has been in charge of the border. I think upon examining it the decision will flip.Justices Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh dissented.

Seems universally accepted as, poor judgement on my part. Yet, I just saw it voiced this morn, those who considers border crossers as "lawful immigration" and not an invasion because it ",does not represent my Christian values. I do not support these practices that lead to the deaths of people in desperate situations" the division that has ravaged the Church. It doesn't work that way. If I'm not mistaken, we are expected to resolve matters towards unity. The blessing we lack is told in the fruits we have handed the world.
“For it is time for judgment to begin with the household of God, , with us first, ,” (1 Peter 4:17)
Roosevelt did. So do the ones that want to pack the court now just like he wanted to. Truth be told, most people want a court that's on the same partisan side they're on.They do and should rule based on their understanding of laws, not parties or tribes. We don't want courts to be partisan or justice is an afterthought.

My understanding is The bobwire fence is on Texas State property, and the Biden admin wants to enter this State property and remove their fencing? It's a temporary decision, understandable in that the federal government has been in charge of the border. The barbwire fence is on state property, but it is preventing the federal government from accessing the border. My understanding is The bobwire fence is on Texas State property, and the Biden admin wants to enter this State property and remove their fencing?
I've heard it described different ways. All the court has said so far is:My understanding is The bobwire fence is on Texas State property, and the Biden admin wants to enter this State property and remove their fencing?
I disagree, no place is Texas obligated to create access to the border for the feds, thats like believing the feds have a right to private property on the border also for access, private property owners aren't obligated eitherThe barbwire fence is on state property, but it is preventing the federal government from accessing the border.
Actually, they are. The federal government needs to have access to the border and intentionally trying to prevent it is obstruction.I disagree, no place is Texas obligated to create access to the border for the feds, thats like believing the feds have a right to private property on the border also for access, private property owners aren't obligated either
The park that Texas is blocking access to has the boat ramp that CBP uses to patrol that portion of the Rio Grande. It'll be one thing if Texas was simply enforcing immigration law, thought that would still be illegal in my understanding, but they are actively preventing the federal government from doing so.Good thing is the border patrol stands with Governor Abbott 100%
If the feds want access to the border Biden can get a helicopter or a canoe with paddles for the Rio Grande, smiles
Except for DFW, Houston, San Antonio, Austin, and El Paso, and counties immediately adjoining them.Honestly, if this doesn't stop I see Texas seceding from the union.
This is why Trump and the republicans are fighting Biden's request for more funding for the Border Patrol. As usual, it's all about money. Those that got away (unknowns). Up to three or four sectors have been without anyone there due to overwhelming the border patrol for the numbers. This is by design of the drug cartels, to freely carry out trafficking
I don't think that the republicans object to legal immigration. Their reluctance to fund border security is based on contributions they get to look the other way on illegal immigration. But that’s OK with EVERYONE who loathes lawful immigration and joyfully conducts operations that undermine that process, including those who think they are doing the Lord a service.
No, republicans want the border closed. Dems want to continue the flow with a legal process whereby they can end up with citizenship and vote. This is why Trump and the republicans are fighting Biden's request for more funding for the Border Patrol. As usual, it's all about money.
