This response, trying to turn it around on the person making the request
instead of seeing the need to cooperate serves well to underline the point that we need to try to stay on topic. And why it seems so hard.

It is true that conversations tend to drift, but its a matter of some self discipline to try to stay on topic.

For whatever reason, some people like to try to make the thread about themselves. Or make wild leaps off into irrelevancies and deliberately derail the conversation.

Not realy, just about abiogenesis being researched in a lab. Allthough I won't stop you arguing the point if you want It's relevant after all.
