Says who?

God.

Romans 1:20 "For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:"

Genesis 3:22 "And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:"

Notice that the invisible things of Him are clearly seem by understanding the things made. We now understand all things are made from energy.

Notice also that man became like God when he gained knowledge.....

We agree that computers are created from science. Which requires an intelligent designer to interpret the science correctly to make the computer. Randomly throwing in parts would not a computer make....

I think you are misrepresenting a little bit. Yes, scientific models change, but such changes tend to be incremental - there is little, if any, “starting all over again”.

Just as one example the change from the Ptolemy epicycles was no incremental change. They started "all over again".

Another the Law of gravitation by Newton. Aristotle, for example, believed that all bodies moved towards their "natural" place, and for massive things this was the center of the universe (which the Earth was already at the center of, so that means the center of the Earth). Descartes, no dumb guy, believed that objects moved towards the Earth because there were "aerial corpuscles in the earth-centered vortex" that impacted into them, driving things down.

If you believe those changes to be incremental, I'd sure hate to see a change of paradigm in your view.....

Meh. That video is nicely-produced nonsense, as are the helical orbits described; regardless of the models you think I favour.

Closer than any other video you can produce to show orbital motions. So let's find out, produce your correct motion of orbits or just admit you follow one even more incorrect..... Then we will all know which one you favor and the double-talk and avoidance will end....

Quite the interesting interpretation.

Notice also that man became like God when he gained knowledge.....

Notice also that in the Bible, God tries desperately to stop any and all such attempts... none more blatantly than His panic over the Tower of Babel.

Incorrect interpretation of the Tower of babel.

"3 They said to each other, “Come, let’s make bricks and bake them thoroughly.” They used brick instead of stone, and tar for mortar. 4 Then they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves; otherwise we will be scattered over the face of the whole earth.”

Notice their reasoning for building the tower "otherwise we will be scattered over the face of the whole earth." and to "make a name for themselves."

But what did God command mankind to do? "Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth."

We see they are violating God's command to fill the earth, so that they might make a name for themselves. They are violating the command given to Adam and repeated to Noah. They were commanded to spread out and fill the earth, but in their vainglory to make a name for themselves (not in glory to God the one who endowed them with knowledge) they stayed together "lest they be scattered." And so were forced to scatter...

The reason He stopped their attempt is because they were a stubborn lot, refusing to do their jobs as caretakers of the earth, seeking a name for themselves with their wisdom instead of glorifying their Creator with that Wisdom. Had they built a tower to glorify God, not themselves, and to commemorate their brotherhood before departing to unknown lands......

Instead they puffed themselves up and spit in God's face....

Why stop there? God's response no use to you?

5 But the Lord came down to see the city and the tower the people were building. 6 The Lordsaid, “If as one people speaking the same language, they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them. 7 Come, let us go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other.”

Interesting how you chose to interpret God's actions while ignoring his words.

Anywhere else, that would seem unusual.

Because Knowledge without God leads to evil. look what man has done with his knowledge. Exploded nuclear weapons on his fellow man. That's exactly what God feared, that nothing would be impossible, but being man woulkd reject him that knowledge would be turned to evil ends, because man can not control the knowledge of evil that is now within him without God's assistance.

I don't ignore it, I just understand what is meant by it.... and don't take it out of the context of the preceding verses.....

That's why the Bible warns you repeatedly that the wisdom of man is used to bring harm to men.

God wants you to have wisdom and knowledge - gave it freely....

Proverbs 2:6 "For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding."

But they subverted that knowledge for their own ends, and the wisdom of man brings only ruin and death to other men without God.....

Why do you think the tree of life was withheld from Adam? So that sinful man could not perpetuate his misery upon others for eternity....

Of course science can be wrong. That is the strength of sceince. Sceintific theories need to be tested against observable evidence, which would be a completely pointless exercise if they couldn't be wrong.

I think the most shocking revelation I have had in coming to this forum is discovering how many US Christians are so anti-science. In the UK (where I live) it isn't like that at all. UK Christians understand the benefits of science and don't feel their faith is threatened by it.

Yah, never understood that myself. After all, the same Author that penned the Bible penned the universe, did He not?

Now I might have disagreements on what is actually science, and what is merely an epicycles supported by Fairie Dust.... Just because someone or a group of someones says this is scientific, doesn't mean it is. Ptolemy and those who followed that belief might even agree with that were they alive today.

I understand the benefits of science every time I turn a light switch on, or start my truck....

That's actually quite witty, although I am not 100% sure you are joking (but I am pretty sure you are).

Impossible.

Science is about explaining facts, and facts are never wrong, therefore science is never wrong.

But almost everything in science is technically a theory, since there are always new discoveries disproving old "facts". The fact is, most of the time we don't get the so called facts right.

Lol, it was a pretty good one. Although I am not 100% certain he is joking either, except maybe in a sarcastic witty way. Which I understand as that's my style of whit as well.

Shhhh, you aren't supposed to remind them the facts keep changing and so theory needs revised every other day...... So much for what was fact yesterday, today its not fact any more....

I have three pages of posts where I use that argument.

Here is first time I used it:
I agree ... I don't see Europe that way; but then, I've never been there.

For what it's worth though, I believe the Antichrist will come from an European nation.

Here is first time I used it:
People have problems divorcing science fiction from science everywhere. Granted you could be correct in that their liberal view of what IS science will be the cause of following.

Let's look at the belief that antivirals require belief in evolution. Easily shown to be false as not a single virus has evolved into a new species of virus. So belief in evolution was never required to make any vaccine since only adaptation has occurred, not evolution.

So the science of virus adapting verses the science fiction that they become separate species is two different things. Some people are simply unable to make this distinction and so are confused to what is actually science.
