Science insulting the image of Jesus

If you watch the Ray Downing documentary, The Real Face of Jesus, they address the carbon dating process and debunk the claims of dating that make this a supposed forgery.

This is weird... This is part of the reason why I can understand why the Catholic Church has refused interpretation of its theology to laypersons...

That doesn't address the weirdness of your post. Einstein's equations are attempts at interpreting statistical data acquired during experimentation and have nothing to do with "spiritual" matters. That's just weird...

An equation is something mental... but there are more than mental properties to mass and to nature. There are also spiritual properties that accompany mass. A bright, warm, sunshiny day can warm up the spirits as well as the flesh for example. There is a danger in being so caught up in the mental definition of things that the chemical and spiritual properties go with it. One can also be so caught up in the ecclesiastical definitions that one fails to possess what he professes!

Well, then, people can harden themselves against the spiritual, so not everyone. As far as the image in the OP, I cannot believe that the gentlemen creating that image of Christ has experienced him on the spiritual level at all, otherwise the image would have appeared differently.

I do like to visit churches when I visit the Polynesia. For one thing they keep the churches full of flowers and open. Pictured below is the Catholic church at Bora-Bora and Tahiti. All of which has the images of Christ done up reverently along with crowns of flowers.

All I was trying to do is to separate the spiritual virtue from the intelligence and the mass. Spiritual virtue is not mass, therefore it cannot be bought. It is not knowledge therefore it cannot be taught. It is something that flows through us and that has properties of its own.
