Science insulting the image of Jesus

So, if someone comes to a conclusion on something, but they're not qualified in that area, their conclusion should be taken as an insult?

But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. - 1 Corinthians 2:14

A man who knows not the Christ has no business at all trying to image the figure of Christ. A man who knows the Christ on a personal basis will not attempt to insult and disfigure the image of who he knows on the inside. Like these Englishmen have done!

Here is an image of the Lord Jesus Christ. How do I know it was real? Because I can sense the divine nature on his countenance.

One ought, having a spiritual sense to discern both good and evil, to know mischief when it is present. A man who has a spiritual feel of the Christ will do up his image reverently. A man who has not the Spirit will merely create an insult.

There was a man who came to our church who would go up to the altar for prayer and then speak, "bub, bub, bub ,bub..." He would do this when it was time for the minister to go up to speak. It was not very hard to discern that this was not of the Holy Spirit. We had a member go up to the man, put his arm around his shoulder, and ask him to sit down.

The image done by these Englishmen reflect not the image of the Christ.

On a side note - What century are you living in? Is that the way you speak in everyday conversations? Do you say stuff like, "Our football team shalt smite thine football team, for behold, ours will lay it's wrath upon thine!"? Or, does Elizabethan language and vernacular only kick in when discussing all things religious? Just curious, because it is an oddity that stands out.

Here is an image of Jesus found in Rome and dated around 530AD. I have no problem with this image as it is reverently done.

It seems more like an image in your head of someone you have never seen. There can be studies and research, but there are no know first hand portraits to my knowledge.

Apparently it is written somewhere that no one can render images of Jesus, unless they are Christians. Which, in and of itself, means that non-Christians are to submit themselves to the teachings of a religion they don't believe in?

I like that a lot of the songs from Godspell were hymns. As the writer for Godspell said:
