Maybe it’s time to allow prayer in American schools.

It's always been allowed. My daughter was an officer in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. They often prayed "at the flagpole" before school, met as a club in school, and prayed.

What's not allowed is what God said He doesn't want; state sponsored prayer.

But of course, the bigots want to have the government endorse their beliefs over the beliefs of other people. The founders of America knew that people like that will always be with us, and very clearly outlawed any establishment of religion.

If you want your children to begin the school day with prayer, then get down on your knees and pray with them in the mornings. Don't ask the teacher to do your job for you. Raise your own kids.
