Hello, I have been on the forums for awhile but want to introduce myself to this particular section. I was raised a Christian (independent Baptist), came away from that, got confirmed in the Episcopal church in 1995, left after 5 years and for the last 8 years have been studying various other Eastern religions and philosophies.

Now I am at a point where I may want to revisit a liberal form of Christianity again.

Hello, it's great to be here. I'm having a look around the site, and thought this was a good place to start. I attend a non-denominational church sometimes, and also get together with a group of friends for home church groups or bible studies.

Goodness it's been a long time! I took a break from my life online back in February, or March, and I got so busy, the time just flew right by! I'd like to say hi, to both old members and new! heya well if you asked me aobut 5 years ago if i would be here wher ei am at in my life i would say your lieing but life has a funny way of changeing you and once you free yourslef and hear hwat god has laid on your heart and makes something wonderful and make you less bitter and closer to god.

anywho i am 22 years old i am MTF tg just came out to myslefy havent relly talk to anyone other then few ppl online woh support me and keep teelign me no matter others may say God loves you for you and who you are so why should not love you and take you has you. I also have MPD which is relly makes life diffalt a lot of times so i stay at home so i have ltos of time on my hands. so i am hopeing to get know you all and become friends.

i will be starting school in Oct i am stundent of Strayer Uni takeing onilne class. i cant wait to get back in school and hit the books.

I was 8 years in a very fundamentalist, very harsh kind of pentecostalism church. I've been a year just looking round. I dunno where to settle but Im looking to meet other kindred spirits along the way. Looking for a church, but not the kind that stops you sleeping at night!

Hello everyone! My name is Angie and I prayed for Jesus to come into my life in March of 2002. I'm married to a great guy, Daniel, and we have one 16 year old son Danny. I work in accounting at a transportation company. I attend an evangelical free church, but I remain liberal. I like to read non-fiction, especially anything about history. I like to watch TV, like Encore Mystery, Lifetime, The History Channel, The Discovery Channel and my all time fav, CNN. Hello there. My name is Emory. I'm 33 and am from the Baltimore area. I am single with no kids. I was raised United Methodist but became a Baptist at age 20. I stayed with that church for 5 years and then quit going to church for 7 years. I now belong to a Unitarian Universalist church but I don't attend much.

Here are some other interesting things about me: I am an avid reader, I like photography and I enjoy traveling.

Hello! Erm...I'm not exactly a new member, but I haven't posted in these forums in a long time and I feel called to do so. I feel a lot safer in a liberal Christian forum because I have the certainty that my personal views won't be attacked and I won't be accused of not being a "true Christian". I'll describe how I became a liberal/progressive Christian in another thread, but I just wanna say hi! ^^
