Psalm 139:8
If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.

Jeremiah 23:23,24
Am I a God at hand, saith the Lord, and not a God afar off? Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the Lord. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the Lord.

Ephesians 2:22
In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

Psalm 113:5
Who is like unto the Lord our God, who dwelleth on high.

Psalm 123:1
Unto thee lift I up mine eyes, O thou that dwellest in the heavens.

I Kings 8:27
But will God indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have builded?

Matthew 6:9
After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

Matthew 18:20
For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

Romans 10:6,7
But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? Or, Who shall descend into the deep?

Romans 8:9
But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

1 Kings 8:27 is a very definitive scripture from what I can tell. If even the HIGHEST HEAVENS can't contain God, then that pretty much means that He fills the WHOLE UNIVERSE..... and then some.

Excellent verses...:thumbsup:

I said psalms is poetry and nothing else.... you cannot put words in my mouth. Any scholar would agree with me...Psalms is poetry and not discourses on doctrine.

Note how Paul uses the Psalms.

Hear God through Paul's pen:

Ro 3:4 Not at all! Let God be true, and every man a liar. As it is written:
"So that you may be proved right when you speak
and prevail when you judge."

Psalm 51:4
4 Against you, you only, have I sinned
and done what is evil in your sight,
so that you are proved right when you speak
and justified when you judge.

Ro 3:12 All have turned away,
they have together become worthless;
there is no one who does good,
not even one."

Psalm 19:1 The fool has said in his heart, "There is no God "
They are corrupt, they have committed abominable deeds;
There is no one who does good.
2The LORD has looked down from heaven upon the sons of men
To see if there are any who understand,
Who seek after God.
3They have all turned aside, together they have become corrupt;
There is no one who does good, not even one.

Psalm 53:1 The fool has said in his heart, "There is no God,"
They are corrupt, and have committed abominable injustice;
There is no one who does good.
2God has looked down from heaven upon the sons of men
To see if there is anyone who understands,
Who seeks after God.
3Every one of them has turned aside; together they have become corrupt;
There is no one who does good, not even one.

Ro 3:13"Their throats are open graves;
their tongues practice deceit."
"The poison of vipers is on their lips."

Psalm 5: 9 There is nothing reliable in what they say;
Their inward part is destruction itself
Their throat is an open grave;
They flatter with their tongue.

Psalm 140:3 They sharpen their tongues as a serpent;
Poison of a viper is under their lips. Selah.

Ro 3:14 "Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness."

Psalm 10:7 His mouth is full of curses and deceit and oppression;
Under his tongue is mischief and wickedness.

Ro 3: 18 "There is no fear of God before their eyes."

Psalm 36:1 Transgression speaks to the ungodly within his heart;
There is no fear of God before his eyes.

There are other places in the NT where the Psalms are used. They teach doctrine. Deny it if you like. That's your preference.

Great text Kimberly :thumbsup:

2 Timothy 3
16 All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; 17so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.

You all are doing a great job; that is why I love God’s Word. Jesus spoke to the women at the well and he told her the well was deep. God’s Word is a deep well; a living well that gets deeper and deeper. Another way it was described as a river of life flowing. Not the walls of religion that control its awesome flow but they try to box that flow in a cistern (four hard walls of dogma and creeds). God’s Word cannot be contained by walls; it slice right though those walls no matter what. I live twenty miles from Niagara Falls and that Hugh body of water cut right though that Hugh rock.

So often we have brothers and sisters out their who dare go beyond their religious walls and challenge us to a debate. God is doing some rock cutting when this happen and even after they leave here in offended and mad; He has chipped away at those old hard cisterns; and they are beginning to leak.
This is the deepest fellowship I have found anywhere.

Amen Benoni.

I also love the fellowship here. :)

I often feel like a cat in a room full of dogs. :eek:

But not here, I finally found a place where I feel like I fit in. :clap:
Romans 9:33 Wycliffe New Testament (WYC)
as it is written, Lo! I put a stone of offence in Sion, and a stone of stumbling; and each that shall believe in it, shall not be confounded. [as it is written, Lo! I put a stone of spurning in Sion, and a stone of offence; and each that shall believe into it, shall not be confounded, or shamed.]
Romans 9:33
As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumbling stone and rock of offence:
and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
Mount Sion/Zion is where King David lived; it is a place of ruler ship; as well as the place where the Tabernacle of David was located. When you get close to God’s throne you will offend and people will disagree. The cross is an offense and so is Mount Zion.
