Justice Department Announces Eight Indictments Against China Based Chemical Manufacturing Companies and Employees

Nearly all fentanyl precursors come from China. These precursors are then made into fentanyl.

But it doesn’t stop there. Companies in China also manufacture other synthetic or man-made drugs—that make the fentanyl threat even more addictive and even more deadly. These drugs include xylazine and nitazenes, which are then mixed with fentanyl to extend the high and increase the cartels’ profits.
To be fair it’s not the drugs that kill people. Drugs are inanimate objects. It’s people who use them that are the problem. We should focus on mental health issues.

Just how is China responsible for the United States drug problem? So what if China makes the drugs, are they forcing Americans to take them? I mean, all there people blaming China for the actions of the drug users should also blame the firearms industry for all the shootings. After all, the gun industry is providing the product.
Its easier to point fingers than to look at core
problems and solutions.
Blame gun manufacturers. Blame beer makers.
Blame China.
Its how you rally the troops to go after
the enemy.
Promising a solution is how to gain political power.

Agree. I have said that all along. Unfortunately many here believe that it is easier to blame China, Mexico or drug mules for people taking a killer drug. HOWEVER, the drug also poses a threat to law enforcement who receive a dosage (through the air or skin) while doing their job. We must blame China, Mexico and drug mules/sellers for these tragic events. I agree mental health issues should be a priority but at least one side of the aisle does not want to invest in these people.

Or blame America for gunboats on the river.

Mao was the world's greatest drug counselor.

No prob. No adversarialism involved.

Prohibition does a marvellous job of counseling people.

To be fair prohibition makes it worse. Turning a health problem into a forensic problem rarely improves things.

One who will tell us who is good and who is poison. One who will avenge our enemies. One who can work outside the broken system, by his own rules and do what needs to be done for us no matter what. One who will rid us of those who oppose us, within and abroad.
I am not a fan of Trump, and disagree with him on a number of issues

but he is not some tyrant of Fascist --that is complete nonsense. He is a pragmatic businessman with populist leanings. The facts:

1. No new wars were started under Trump. He didn't attack our neighbors, launch some imperialist campaign, etc. After Biden took office, international conflict and US involvement exploded. 20,000 Palestinians have been killed using US arms and military funding. A massive proxy war in the Ukraine has killed or wounded hundreds of thousands of people--and this war was pushed by Biden and the UK, who told Zelensky to refuse the peace agreement offered a month after the conflict started. Trump went as far as to meet with Kim Jong Un to get some kind of permanent peace agreement.

it is very clear who the "war candidate" is in 2024

2. The MSM and Democrats have repeatedly reframed and labeled some of Trump's actions falsely. They called Executive Order 13769 a "Muslim Ban", which is complete nonsense. The act limited immigration from countries in the ME that were destabilized and suffering from terrorist uprisings, such as Syria (ISIS), and Yemen (Houthi extremists). It did not prevent 90% of Muslims from other countries from coming to the US. Now I was critical of this measure because I didn't think it would do much, and would make a lot of Muslims angry, but it wasn't a "Muslim ban" --it was a perfectly reasonable order.

3. Border security is not "Fascism". Borders are not "racist" --building a wall (likely ineffective--I didn't think it would work) or trying to get mass, illegal immigration under control, is not authoritarian.

4. It wasn't Trump who was leveraging the national security apparatus, FBI, NSA, and others to monitor the online speech of Americans, conduct warrantless searches and wiretaps, threaten social media platforms into suppressing criticism of the administration or its policies, fire federal workers who wouldn't get vaccinated, implementing "vaccine passports", etc. --that was Biden and other politicians (including some Republicans). Trump isn't perfect in this area, but he is infinitely less authoritarian that Biden

Now things could change, and Trump could go full-authoritarian, but the idea that he is some Fascist dictator wanna-be isn't supported by facts

Actually- no. Alcohol prohibition in
the USA was highly effective.

A lack of will was why it failed.

It takes resolve. Mao and co. had the necessary resolve.
Othee nations with similar resolve dont have tent cities of
addicts.

America has exactly the problem its willing to tolerate.
Trearment programs are insanely expensive and dont work.

Meanwhile the irresponsible action / inaction of
Amrricans created the narco states of latin America-
from which the innocent and guilty alike flee north
through your " border".

You know they say that you will reap what you're sowing.

Interesting. Certainly food for thought.

Interesting. Certainly food for thought.
Theres very very little drug abuse in
the countries that are harsh with offenders.

Look at tens of thousands of drug deaths,
the billions of dollars wasted and lost, the crime, the
homeless, ruined lives. The destruction of
society in mexico, nicaragua. Etc.

If a few thousand hearless criminals end at
a hangmans noose-

Whats the sane choice?

The German government failed to solve the problems caused by the Great Depression. Germany was politically divided. This made passing new laws almost impossible because of disagreements in the German parliament. Many Germans lost faith in their leaders’ ability to govern.

Radical political groups like the Nazi Party and the Communist Party became more prominent. They took advantage of the economic and political chaos. They used propaganda to attract Germans who were fed up with the political stalemate.

There has been a lot on lately about Nazi Germany, world on Fire on PBS, All the Light We Cannot See on Netflix, etc. It makes me wonder how people could get so swept up in such madness. Have we learned anything? I am really beginning to wonder.

Adolf Hitler and the Nazis won followers by promising to create a strong Germany. The Nazis promised to

  • fix the economy and put people back to work;
  • return Germany to the status of a great European, and even world, power;
  • regain territory Germany had lost in World War I;
  • create a strong authoritarian German government;
  • and unite all Germans along racial and ethnic lines.
The Nazis played on people’s hopes, fears, and prejudices. They also offered scapegoats.

Yes, President Biden has done some concerning things:

*Scapegoating groups of Americans ("1) Mega MAGA people (whatever the heck that is),
2) people who questioned the necessity and efficacy of a brand new drug with zero long term data,
3)people who failed to comply with his pulpit bullying, which led to widespread bullying among communities,
4) companies ordered to ignore another co-equal branch of government(!) and impose mandates anyway, despite being deemed unconstitutional.

* Such scapegoating rhetoric leads to hyper-polarized citizens who turn on others: remember the "report your neighbors who have friends over" rhetoric?

* Encouraged sexual confusion and immorality (Sam Brinton anyone? Hired -and ultimately fired-)

* Created an economic house of cards, while continuing to gaslight.
Similarly, the Nazis used the economic disaster and the Great Depression to their benefit. They developed a protectionist economic policy that promised to boost the German people. Biden promised to forgive loans that people took out under their own volition.
This promise of massive loan forgiveness and all these "better jobs" that have not materialized worked in the short term by amassing a large population of people to their side.

Even the Supreme Court striking down the student loan forgiveness hasn't stopped Biden from attempting to do it anyway It's an election year and young people aren't excited about another Biden presidency.

* The ignorant in college are being indoctrinated into believing that socialism will solve their problems.

* Anti-semitism is rife on college campuses (who receive federal funds). Several Ivy League Presidents have had to step down because they didn't protect their Jewish students.

* The Biden Administration utilized social media to silence speech which did not promote its agenda, using agencies to contact inside channels at Old Twitter, Facebook, and others, basically silencing the "Town Square" of speech of disparate views. Very chilling as a First Amendment violation.

Yes, there are issues.
