I don't feel like doing much either. Sophie wants to be held non-stop so getting anything done is proving to be difficult lol

Well looks like summer is well on the way here!
The last couple of day have been crazy and I thought we were retreating back to winter.
But today is looking much brighter and happier.
I can finally get some washing done!
Although i'm not looking forward to summer, I hate the hot weather!

yup...autumn here too! upstate NY is getting cooler. the colors are very nice too! Halloween is right around the corner.
What are your little ones dressing up as? Or do you do that kind of thing?
My two older ones want to be Batman and Robin!
The little guy is going to be either the Joker or Superman!

I LOVE the colors of the trees... red and orange are my favorite!
We don't do Halloween, but we plan to hand out candy and Christian tracts to kids who come to our door! 
I think it will be a good ministry to teach our kids... and we try not to separate the day as anything special except to bless kids.

I'm here...sorry I missed you. Hope you are ok. When my DH worked nights, it always made me nervous. We lived 2 hrs from family, and 1 hr from his job. And there was a creepy guy who lived 2 doors down. He always looked out his window at my boys and I playing in our yard. Anyway, one morning, I found foot prints in the snow outside our living room window!! And it wasn't any of ours! from then on, i kept a light on downstairs at night and had a baseball bat next to my bed! LOL!

A Mother's Love
If I live in a house of spotless beauty with everything in its place, but have not love, I am a housekeeper, not a homemaker.
If I have time for waxing, polishing and decorative achievements, but have not love, my children learn of cleanliness not godliness.
Love leaves the dust and goes in search of the child's laugh.
Love smiles at the tiny fingerprints on a newly cleaned window.
Love wipes away the tears before it wipes up spilled milk.
Love picks up the child before it picks up the toys.
Love is present through trials.
Love reprimands, reproves and is responsive.
Love crawls with the baby, walks with the toddler, runs with the child then stands aside to let the youth walk to adulthood.
Love is the key that opens salvation's message to a child's heart.
Before I became a mother, I took glory in my house of perfection. Now I glory in God's perfection of my child.

LOL! I've been craving pizza... I'm so HUNGRY!! LOL
It's all good though, I have some southern style rice with beans and corn and some other stuff I can't identify... LOL but it does taste good even if I don't know what's in it!
Last month my friend could have been a cow she was so heavy... it was a miserable week I tell you! Glad to her visit ensured all my plumbinb was working just fine!

That's cute... did you make that one up or did you hear it somewhere.
One that I've heard (which I cannot find after looking for 10 minutes) is something like "Our sons are here to stay but our daughters we must give away."
Or something like that... I would think it would be hard for either parent... to remove your "taking care of" job and allow another woman to replace you in your son's life and allowing another man to lead your daughters...
No wonder it's hard for parents to let go!!!! LOL
I pray I allow a much more graceful and God centered transition for my kids!!! lol And that I let go!

I just made myself laugh!! My washer and dryer are in my upstairs bathroom. The dryer is close to the toilet...so while i was peeing (LOL!) i opened the dryer and put the clothes in the basket!! talk about multi-tasking! LOL!
