If there are any Five Iron Frenzy fans out there, you will certainly appreciate Reese Ropers new band. The debut album that hit stores this last Tuesday is, what I believe, a masterpiece. Reese has done it again with his creative, and ministering lyrics, and the band still has the tight rock sound that FIF was known for. They even covered Shania Twains song "Still The One" and not only made it tolorable, but made it great.

They came through Kansas City on the begining leg of the tour, but I missed the show. I wish I caught it.

Roper is great I got to see them last sunday and they are coming again on the 20. but still its no FIF lol

We'll probably be seeing these guys around a lot the next couple of years. Only after one week on the market, and little publicity. Check this out.

Dear Roper team

You guys did an unbelievable job getting the word out about the new Roper cd, we ended up at #46 on Billboard's Heat Seekers chart, which is huge!!

As you know, EMI told us we would need to sell 3,500 units the first week to get on their radar, what we didn’t know is that there would not be enough product in the market place to make that happen.

I received a call last Monday from them saying that based on the amount of
product they shipped, we would be doing great to sell 2,000 units and that if we hit 2,000, they would be ecstatic.

Well, I would like to thank the best street teams out there on helping us blow
their goal out of the water and sell 3,121 units last week!!
