The reason your uncomfortable is probably either because of your childhood/religious upbringing or perhaps even because you might have a negative view of your own body. Yes, these days it can seem rather out-of-the-ordinary to see someone else naked, but way back when, everyone used to go down to the river to bathe. Jesus even may have been baptised nude in front of everyone (as they didn't have 20 sets of clothing like we do today that they could simply change into). So don't sweat it. And by the time you read this, I assume you'll probably already have adjusted to it somewhat, or at least made accommodations so it isn't so much of an issue for you any more.

Our bodies are private to us. For some it may be hard to lower the barrier this way AND you don't have to. Some people are even shy with being naked before their spouse initially. It's only human; do what your soul is comfortable with to be discrete.

Trust me, after Basic Training, all inhibitions disappear (for the most part). Imagine spending 8 to 13 weeks (depending on what branch of the military) showering in a big shower room with 40-50 other guys, lining up naked to use 15 showerheads (and not showering is not an option - showers must be had daily, no matter what). Yep, that'll make your inhibitions go away in short order.

I am a senior at a Bible college. When I first started, I had the same kind of weird feeling of changing in front of people. Let's just say that has been completely crushed (amongst other things - nothing bad). haha! You'll get used to it in time.

As others have said, I see no problem with it as long as it isn't sexual in nature. My friends and I are all pretty darn comfortable with each other though. We all change in front of each other (yes, even our undies sometimes). A lot of the college girls I go to Bible study with live together in one house (six girls) and there is only one bathroom. It's not unusual for one girl to be in the shower, one girl to be brushing her teeth, and another to be peeing in the same bathroom in the morning. It would be hard to get ready in the morning and get to class/work on time if everyone got private bathroom time otherwise! They are all super close and like sisters. It's not like they are all checking each other out or staring at each others lady-parts.

Ask yourself why it is weird to you. Go from there.

Relax... changing with another guy doesn't make you gay, nor does seeing a naked male body... I don't see anything wrong with it... I think our world has scared Christian in to being something God did not intend us to be... uncomfortable in our own skin! I think Satan uses this to keep Christian brothers from bonding and being close! David and Johnathan could not be members of most churches because they would make people soooo uncomfortable!
I am a Christian Life Coach if you have further questions...
