Sorry, your trust is in the wrong place if you think that, according to Yahweh.
Read Jesus' Own Words.
Trust Jesus.
The scholars you have previously put your trust in have already failed you.
As Jesus told the disciples: "if you trust yourself , you have already failed" ...
As Jesus told the disciples: "if you trust your heavenly Father, it is already done" ...
He never changed who to trust, no, not ever.
Men did that.
As Jesus told the disciples: If you don't put your trust in your heavenly Father, you have ALREADY FAILED.
Likewise in harmony with all Scripture, trust the Father. Not men, not even the best of men, or you fail already (no matter how many years of trying lie behind or ahead).
What translation are you using? Who translated it? Was it Jesus? If so, which Jesus?
who copied all the Bible's Manuscripts?
who defined the canon of the Bible?
Who are the translators of Bibles?
Who compiled the manuscripts?
If you know the Biblical Languages, who taught you?
Why does the Church have Teachers? Most Scholars are also teachers.
Who defined your doctrines?
If one can only have trust in Jesus for everything, how do you know the airplane you may be on will get to where it is going?
We are to have trust in Jesus for salvation alone.
Putting trust in godly scholars is not on par with putting one's trust in Jesus for salvation --- which is why your post looks silly to me.
What translation is "you can not serve two wives?"

Proverbs 3
5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.
8 It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.
9 Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:
10 So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.
11 My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord; neither be weary of his correction:
12 For whom the Lord loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.
13 Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.
14 For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold.
