Rhymin' Time

I always share my bon bons with my friends
Do you know some of my rhymes have some quirks and bends
Because do you know that I have not a clue what a bon bon is
I wonder if it kind of tastes like a chocolate kiss

Woe is me, I am so chagrin
I bet you wondered where I've been
Climbing mountains? Probably not
Perhaps recording a TV spot?
Nothing so grand, I'm afraid to say
Has kept me away 'til this fine day
Every weekend we trek to the market
Lay out our wares and prepare to hock 'em
The things that we sell bring us funds, you see
Which are used to adopt a child from Haiti
It's been going swell, we've had donations galore
And we're nearly done filling out all the forms
But these things do take time
So there's little time to ryme
Or at least not enough time to make a rhyme sound sublime.

Nice to see you again
I had wondered if you were taken by not nice men
or if you were just busy for real
Hopefully not to busy to sit down and enjoy a meal
I know this poem is short
but be a good sport
and allow me to be done for now

Rhymin' Time is lots of fun
although it's not for everyone
Most who come here are true blue
They do the best that they can do
They come as often as they can
But some come once and never again
I guess some feel it's not worth a try
And that's ok, they wont make me cry

thinking of something new isn't always easy
Do you know that here lately it's been so breezy
I should have been rhymin all along
or atleast singing a good song
but I didn't do either one
but rhymin' would have been the most fun

Having a twin is great
one of the greatest experiences ever
though growing up we often had a debate
Alone, we were never
I've always depended on her
for I need her more than she'll ever believe
She is married to a nice Sir
but even at that I know she'll never leave
