Sometimes God has different plans,
Yet we try to carry it all in our hands.
Until it's so heavy we buckle beneath

On burdens He released us from so long ago,

How can we help the lost?
Satan seems to have control
They can't seem to see the cost
Of tossing away their eternal soul

I've tried and tried to speak His name
To those who do not know Him
They treat it as some kind of game
Shirking it off like a whim

How can we reach them if they won't try
To know His gospel through His Word
Of His glory, I am not shy
At least we know the Lord's been heard

With their souls they have toyed
It seems that we can only pray
That the Bible will not return void
And the Lord will save them yet someday
