This word used for "yoke" is interesting. Most every place in the NC most translation use "yoke" for this word except for this one verse in revelation and perhaps because of the next verse. Yoke is also used in the OT.

Whether one translates it as "balance/scales" or "yoke" it appears to symbolize a form of "sevitude/justice" it seems.

5 And when it up opens-up the seal, the third, I hear the third living-one saying: "Be coming"! And I saw and Behold! A horse, black, and the one sitting upon him having a yoke in the hand of him.

It was the principal silver coin of the Roman empire. From the parable of the labourers in the vineyard, it would seem that a denarius was then the ordinary pay for a day's wages. (Mt. 20:2-13)

Interesting greek words used here. Have really studied much on these. #673 is used in Acts 15:39, while #1507 appears to be a form shown in Hebrew 1:12 #1667.
