Seriously, if "one child birth control" policy is enforced around the world, world population would be reduced to highly sustainable levels in 100 years.

Highly sustainable means, everyone can live at least a middle class quality of life sustainably (without depleting natural resources).

Then the lives of children would be taken. And with our way, there would be no middle class. Only those that do not trade with others would be lacking.

So years ago, I came up with a concept for a Generator powered by plasma. Superheated Gases.

Preferably gases that could easily be made in a Lab, and also produce enough energy so that in volume it would be enough to power the world.

Is this possible? The way I imagine it is the quality might be lacking, but in volume it would be made up for.

We could manufacture these into Plasma Cells, and use those cells to power the generator.

But when I tried to share this idea with a Science Forum I got mocked, rather harshly.

I've always had ideas but never had the skill to do them myself, nor the years of lifetime that would allow all of them to be learned how to accomplish them.

I mean aren't the Stars made of plasma? Imagine how awesome that would be if we could use a star to power stuff.

There's actually many people onto this research...

It's not exactly cheap, owing to the great difficulty in handling of superheated plasma (thus, possibly expensive).

There's far better energy concepts out there than superheated plasma-based energy system. Far better in terms of cost, availability, and sustainability.

I'm not sure what you mean here.

One-child birth control doesn't mean killing children.

It only goes to prevent conception in the first place, thus, abortions shouldn't be necessary.

If you already have 7 children when this policy takes effect, it doesn't mean your 6 kids will be killed, it only means, you cannot have more kids anymore.

Those without kids can only have one child, not more.

Just a simple question, did you read all of the posts before replying?

Also, that is true. But this is the most fun way to me at least.

Preventing life from existing....You are a christian, and you don't see anything wrong with that?

It doesn't raise any red flags?

Even if it would work, does not mean it should.

At least with Tone and I, we can colonize other planets, and overpopulation won't ever be a problem. If it goes according to plan.

That or Jesus will have returned before the plan ends, and either way it is a win-win for all humanity, or at least those that have a true relationship with Christ.

Break it down for me again, please.

Instead of using a form of currency, people will have things to trade, like their time and skills to put towards something. Or actual items. In return, people will offer benefits such as items, or their own helping towards an idea, or something that people will deem of value, and it will be up to the individual to decide for themselves what is worth what, and trade accordingly.

It's not too far off from what we have now.

Do you mean "barter economy"?

You'll be king of the world...and such...

Or the king could make that call. Is this what you want to be?

Well, if I were king, i'd rather establish this system for one group, and make another Group that is a Theocracy for God. But pretty much.
