Yes ..... my first car was bought for me by my parents and was a Morris 1100. A dear little car that got me to Uni every day. My first car in the sense that I paid for it myself was a 54 Chevrolet. It had belonged to my Grandpa, had come to my Mum and I was able to buy it off my mum.

Yes, I do remember 45's and lp's. In fact, I have a large collection of the old 45 rpm records-mostly rock and roll from the late 50's and early 60's, with many in what is called doowop style of music. And yes, I can play them.

10 cent drinks at Mickey Dee's? Of course. Do you remember when their signs read how many MILLIONS sold?

LOL! Our first color TV was bad! Everthing was green or yellow it was hard to adjust.

Remeber when the television stations would sign off the air at about 11:00pm and then return at 5:00-6:00 in the morning with the Star Spangled Banner playing??

Yes I do, and there was a time when kids could watch a movie in the evening, like at 8.30 pm, which was G rated. Now, though, all sorts is shown at that hour.

Remember when people received a pay envelope with their cash pay inside? Everyone's pay goes into the bank now, here in NZ.
