Which was exactly what we intended - Reilly's is a place for good chat and good company . The fact that everything is virtual is beside the point - and actually that's what makes it so welcoming - where else would you find a paranoid Android who cooks like an angel ?

Our door is open 24 hours a day, every day of every week, of every month of every year.
OH - and Hurricane Sandy will not be giving us any problems - though our thoughts, of course, are with those in the path of the dratted thing.

I'm back!

My feet feel like they ran a marathon today.

We arrived at the finish line at 5am and stood around watching the set up getting built for about 3 hours.

Then the runners began to arrive, the start was around the corner from the finish.

14,500 people took part and all showed wonderful spirit and courage to complete the course.

The last person to finish crossed the line 9 hours after the start
I got a Chinese takeaway on the way home and am now settled on the sofa...

flipping heck uses a Japanese word but written in Cyrillic .

Now I'll throw a spanner in the works which language did you translate it into - Cyrillic is used by quite a few languages

Very windy. The power flickered on and off, but we're okay. Most of the roads, last time I checked, were closed. A State of Emergency has been in effect since Sunday. I'm not currently on campus, but the Southern section of my college lost power. My friend said he had to drive home from work in a lot of water, and the only open way home was literred with cops. Surprisingly, our satellite TV is not affected by the storm at all.

All in all, the storm hasn't really done anything to the neighborhood yet, but tomorrow's another day.
