Recovery from the occult forum - an explanation

Right now there are three recovering members. However, I know of a few more who would like access.

The forum doesn't violate the five principles. Yes, there are going to be posts that challenge God, but they will not go unanswered.

Is it not against Christ to have members still associating with the occult 'minister' Christ to others seeking to escape it? How do you come to this conclusion seeing light has no fellowship with darkness and remain consistant with biblical doctrine? This is certainly against Christ not just imho, but according to the word.

Section 1.4 of the first principle reads as such:

1.4 No forum (with the exception of the teen forums) will restrict entry or participation based upon a member's religious beliefs or lack thereof. Members are expected to obey all of a forum’s rules while posting there.

People who will be actively ministering have no affiliations with the occult. While many of the victims of the occult will minister to one another, that will be the sorts of ministry that anyone can participate in--love, caring, empathy. As far as I know, there are no members actively involved in the occult who are members of the forum.

Correct me if i am wrong, but Indrid Cold has listed his qualifications to minister, and his icon says he is a christian 'mystic'. I am still waiting for clarification as to what this is. So are you now saying indrid will not be a part of that forum or will not be ministering there? Also it was stated that moriah will be ministering under supervision... if moriah doesnt even desire deliverance as she has clearly stated, will you tell me exactly what it is she will be administering when she 'ministers' under supervision?

I'm still having relations to the occult. I cant even describe how easy it would be to embrace the dark

However God is truly God, were He not, I would have let go. I left witchcraft behind me, however it still trys on a regular basis to force itself into my life

According to Erwin, he and the Pastoral team are talking through some details right now. With this in mind, let's do two things:

1) Be patient. Allow them to do their jobs and come back with an idea. Right now, it's mostly speculation since we don't know what exactly they will come up with.

2) Pray. Pray for Erwin, the Pastoral team, the Recovery team, and all who are involved with the formation of this forum. Pray for wisdom and guidance as to how best we can serve individuals exiting the occult. Pray that we as a site won't take on more than we can handle, but also that we won't turn down an opportunity to make a difference.
