Really Weird Feelings

So basically I was in sin and backsliding for like two months. I kept ignoring God for my sin. Recently I confessed my sin and asked Him to forgive me. Now I have been having these feelings that I don't care about God, and that any concern I may have is just me pretending. I don't know what to believe. My doubts have gotten so bad that I doubt whether I can read or understand English. I should also add this is making me think that God won't forgive me, and that I am unsaveable. What should I do?

It sounds like you are having some OCD tendancies. I know you are only 15, but it would be worth it to be checked out by a psychiatrist for a diagnosis. We took our daughter to a doctor when she was only about 9, and she was diagnosed with mild OCD - not like mine, which was major at one time with thoughts similar to yours. My daughter has been able to get by without meds and had just some therapy that worked very well for her. I have been on meds for 20yrs and probably always will.

I just want you to know that there is help out there. Tell someone what's going on for you.

It sounds like you have some OCD. I am 38 now and have had it pretty much all my life. You are not alone dear.

The word of God says that all who believe on Jesus shall be saved . Dont let your thoughts condemn you. Sometimes I too have thoughts that I'm pretending and not really in love with God but I know He knows my heart . And He has the power to keep you . The waves may beat against the boat, and the boat might rock, but when you're anchored in the Lord, you're not going anywhere. And we may stumble along the way but the important thing is that you confessed before Him. i know this post is old but im praying for you .
