I showed real measurements which you could never refute.
Why would I 'refute' actual ratios and rocks? The issue is what the past was like in fundamental forces and laws, and those things can't tell us that.

What you couldn't refute is the conclusion that they are evidence for a same state past.

The issue is what the past was like in fundamental forces and laws, and those things can't tell us that.

Already refuted. The ratios of isotopes in rocks are a direct result of those fundamental forces and laws.

1/2 and 3/4 are both ratios, but not the same amounts.
So?
The observed decay rates of isotopes are not a fantasy.
I agree. Long as you observe it fine. That goes back what, a hundred years since you even knew it decayed at all?? Ha.

The ones from the last few thousand years yes. Beyond that you don't know. Directly.

So it refutes your argument.

I agree. Long as you observe it fine. That goes back what, a hundred years since you even knew it decayed at all?? Ha.

If there was a same state past, then we should find the same ratios as we find from observed decay, correct?

Actually, I can tell you why you're stuffed in the real world. The earth is old, very, very old.

The agreement is perhaps even more striking in the world of economic geology (oil and mineral exploration) where theories that lead to increased revenue always win, even if philosophically distasteful. Understanding the age of the earth and its layers plays a critical role in natural resource exploration, yet to our knowledge there is not a single oil or mining company anywhere in the world that uses a young-earth model to find or exploit new reserves. Old-earth models work. Young-earth models do not.
So, AV1611VET, put a few hundred million dollars into your YEC exploration. Put your money where your mouth is.

No kidding?

I've only been saying that here for ... oh ... almost ten years now.

I'm not a YEC, chief.

You must have me mixed up with someone else.

So let's see. Which exploration and mining companies have you actually invested your money in?

What's that have to do with your mistake?

It [existentially] is, isn't it!? :)

Indeed -- and one would need to perform some pretty self-impressing mental gymnastics to say they didn't believe in a young Earth...
