Indeed -- and one would need to perform some pretty self-impressing mental gymnastics to say they didn't believe in a young Earth...
I'm always impressing myself! ;)

So it refutes your argument.
Not in any way does it even address the issue let alone refute anything.

If there was a same state past, then we should find the same ratios as we find from observed decay, correct?
Repetition doesn't make a lost case strong. In any state of the past that was created by Jesus, we would find the same stuff. We just would not find the same nature. If Noah lived today he would maybe make 80 years old, not 930+ years. The laws in place act on life processes, atoms and etc. Therefore you may not look at the way the present state acts on stuff as any indication of the past state. Try finding a new trick.

I think the deal there, is that he thinks that when Jesus made it all, some things would have looked old to science. I think that is mostly an indication of the real limits of modern science to declare real ages.

So let's see. Which exploration and mining companies have you actually invested your money in?
Too much credit where it is not due. The companies look for patterns in layers, the imaginary ages are just religious twaddle tacked on to that.

Actually, I can tell you why you're stuffed in the real world. The earth is old, very, very old.

So, AV1611VET, put a few hundred million dollars into your YEC exploration. Put your money where your mouth is.
Only in the evo beliefset.

We do know the ratios of isotopes in the rocks from all periods of Earth's history. We can measure them.

Yes we know the ratios of stuff that exists. The issue is where the stuff came from. Your fairy tales don't fit history and Scripture, and have zero proof.

It's the HI Theory. Refutation is Futile.
For religious twaddle falsely called science, posting is futile unless accompanied by facts and real evidence. Not just blasphemous slander and innuendo, and game playing.

Not in any way does it even address the issue let alone refute anything.

The consistent ratios in rocks demonstrates that we have at least a 4.5 billion year history of the physical laws being the same here on Earth.

Repetition doesn't make a lost case strong.

The only lost cause is yours. It has been thoroughly refuted by evidence that you won't address.

In any state of the past that was created by Jesus, we would find the same stuff. We just would not find the same nature.

We do find the same nature. We find the same ratios of isotopes in rocks that we find from the current state of physics.

After how many tries?

Try 187 in a row.

20_3radiometric-f3.jpg

"There are several important things to note about these results. First, the Cretaceous and Tertiary periods were defined by geologists in the early 1800s. The boundary between these periods (the K-T boundary) is marked by an abrupt change in fossils found in sedimentary rocks worldwide. Its exact location in the stratigraphic column at any locality has nothing to do with radiometric dating — it is located by careful study of the fossils and the rocks that contain them, and nothing more. Second, the radiometric age measurements, 187 of them, were made on 3 different minerals and on glass by 3 distinctly different dating methods (K-Ar and 40Ar/39Ar are technical variations that use the same parent-daughter decay scheme), each involving different elements with different half-lives. Furthermore, the dating was done in 6 different laboratories and the materials were collected from 5 different locations in the Western Hemisphere. And yet the results are the same within analytical error. If radiometric dating didn’t work then such beautifully consistent results would not be possible."

But that's all that the HI Theory is. Remember, it's easy to make things up.

You'd be wrong -- ask AV yourself... he doesn't say it looks billions of years old, he says it isbillions of years old, created 6,000 years ago.

You don't know, so all you can do is imagine the vast differences in the future and past natures in the word of God are wrong.

You don't know either -- and you don't even have the imagination to come up with your own imaginings, so you latch on the other people's and defend them with... what, exactly?
