Scientists have recently discovered a rodent in central Laos that represents a family (the Distomydae, a family of rodents that lived in south Asia and Japan) thought to be extinct for 11 million years, nicknamed the Laotian Rock Rat. It has the face of a rat anf the tail of a skinny squirrel.

I have a question from Dr. Dino: If evolution is true, why haven't these rat-squirrels evolved into monkeys after 11 million years???
