Well don't the progressives always argue all bets are off about respect when it comes to gender identity? Why not religious identity. The Jewish members know that "From the river to the sea" means the removal of Israel.
Or if we respect her point of view, it means the liberation of Palestine.

Well we are not going to respect that because you don't get to claim that when you say something that has a specific meaning that it doesn't really mean that. Especially in this context.
Why not? No one has a monopoly on a phrase. From the river to the sea. Should saying those words get me ban on here?

I believe saying anything racist gets one banned here. Calling for the genocide generally will receive a ban.

Well, except it doesn't mean just "liberation of Palestine". That's why she was censured.

"Because the whole slogan calls for a Palestine that is “free” across all of the territory that now encompasses Israel, Israelis and their supporters in Congress and beyond view it as a call for Israel’s destruction. In an entry calling the phrase antisemitic, the Anti-Defamation League says the phrase “would mean the dismantling of the Jewish state. It is an antisemitic charge denying the Jewish right to self-determination, including through the removal of Jews from their ancestral homeland.”

The American Jewish Committee likewise says the phrase denotes “erasing the State of Israel and its people. It is also a rallying cry for terrorist groups and their sympathizers.”

Ahead of Monday’s censure vote, Democratic Reps. Brad Schneider, Ritchie Torres and Norma Torres circulated a statement signed by 70 Democratic lawmakers stating, “We reject the use of the phrase from the river to the Sea, a phrase used by many, including Hamas, as a rallying cry for the destruction of the state of Israel and genocide of the Jewish people.”

Monday’s censure resolution, which was Republican-led but garnered 23 Democratic votes, said the phrase is “a genocidal call to violence to destroy the state of Israel and its people.”

To kind of overlay a little "US centric" application over it...

When it comes to slogans/symbolism
I would say there's a lot of parallels between the "from the river to the sea" slogan, and the confederate flag.

By that I mean, it's cultural symbol that could very well mean different things to different people, but one of those meanings could be deeply offensive.

I don't doubt that there's some Palestinian supporters who merely see that slogan a symbol of support for Palestinian liberation. Much like I don't doubt that there were people who flew the confederate flag purely for the purposes of expressing support for the Southern/Country Boy "way of life" without any racist intentions. But once it became well established that the symbol had some seriously hurtful connotations to a large number of people, and that hadn't diminished with time, efforts were made to stop using it.

Given that the phrase "from the river to the sea" was popularized by the PLO, it's understandable that it would still be seen as quite offensive to many Jews given the history with the PLO

It's kind of ironic that the Wikipedia entry has since removed this tidbit since the last time I referenced it. The above link to the Wayback Machine's Nov 4th version still makes mention of that.
Initially popularized by the Palestine Liberation Organization upon its founding in 1964

Today's version:

It's since been removed...odd how that happens in the midst of several heated public debates about that slogan. It's almost as if some people decided to go into the article and take some "editorial liberties" with it and decided that perhaps certain pieces of info weren't exactly flattering to their position.

Thankfully the Wayback Machine keeps "receipts".

We've been telling you this all along.
Telling isn’t the same as illustrating and I’m still not convinced this is enough to silence a member of Congress. I just don’t see the point in continuing this discussion when you got what you wanted.
