Rapture Questions-lets get it right!

Well, i guess that answers my question about the "last trumpet". 1 Cor.15 says what it says. Its the last trumpet blast in prophecy, which leaves no room for a pre or mid rapture. Can i ask another question? Well...of course i can ask. Will you answer? Why do people feel a need for a rapture. Are there any scriptures that would even lead you in the direction that there might be a rapture?

You are asking for quick short answers, but the endtimes are not printed out so exacting in scripture.

Where is the proof that the last 'trump' is the 7th trumpet of the trumpet judgments?
In the description of the 'last trump' in I cor. - where is the destruction of the enemies of the Lord mentioned? In the description of the 7th trumpet - where is the voice of the archangel?


Take the time to write all the details down on all aspects of the endtimes and compare. It takes time and work. If you just want a short quick answer handed to you - you may chose to believe the wrong thing.

There appears to be different kinds of trumps. One for judgement and wraths, another for a resurrection. The ones being destroyed appear to be the ones tormented for "5 months" and since no one can explain away the symbolocal number God uses for this, I guess I can just keep bringing it up.
In chapt 11 it shows "2 witnesses" witnessing for 1260 days, but the gentiles are shown given authority for 42 months. Why the differences in months and days? The city itself appears to be destroyed over a 5 month period. Is the final trump blown after this "5 months"? What about the other "37 months"?

reve 11: 2 "But leave out the court which is outside the temple, and do not measure it, for it has been given to the Gentiles. And they will tread the holy city underfoot [for] forty-two months. 3 "And I will give [power] to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth."

15 Then he said to me, "The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues. 16 "And the ten horns which you saw on the beast, these will hate the harlot, make her desolate and naked, eat her flesh and burn her with fire. 17 "For God has put it into their hearts to fulfill His purpose, to be of one mind, and to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled. 18 "And the woman whom you saw is that great city which reigns over the kings of the earth."


reve 9:5 And they were not given [authority] to kill them, but to torment them [for] five months. Their torment [was] like the torment of a scorpion when it strikes a man.

gen 7:12 And the rain was on the earth forty days and forty nights. 24 And the waters prevailed on the earth one hundred and fifty days.[old "heaven and earth" destroyed]

Revelation 21:1 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea.

Keep working at it. There is nothing in the descripton of the first woe to imply the city is being seiged and is destroyed in that time period.

You haven't got the timing worked out - therefore, you are confusing things.
