I've missed y'all too. Not sure if I'll be around or not tonight yet. I'm trying to avoid someone around these parts, so I might.

Good grief. That sounds really bad. Just to clarify: I meant to say I'm trying to avoid someone around these parts in real life, where I live, not on CF.

I hope you have fun tonight Jenster! Happy New Year to you!

Oh, phew! Glad we hadn't offended you, FJD. ^_^

I'll do my best tonight to party like it's, well, 2006. Happy New Year to everyone, and see you next year!

Here's another one, not car-related.

I was looking at the nutritional info on a loaf of bread, one of those long loaves (a flute is what this one is called). It said serving size, 1/4 loaf, 130 calories, etc. Servings per container?

About 4.

Uh, ooohkaaay.

At least your daughter wasn't physically hurt, though that might be small consolation. Lemme guess the coda to the story: the other driver wasn't insured.

That's another pet peeve, but I won't go on about it.
Actually, they were insured. The owner of the truck was an off duty police officer, still in uniform! He wasn't driving, though. Her 2004 bright red Grand Am was paid off, and she got about $800 over the top! that goes on her next car!

*pausing the rants*

Not a rant, but just to let you guys know, the New Year's Eve party went well. :) I met the guy my friend was "recommending" and he did seem really nice, and very funny too. I'm hoping we'll get a chance to develop a friendship at least. I may see him next week at another get-together. I hope so! :)
