But those who will stubbornly cling onto their own ways and thoughts will not be healed. They will be given to salt….being unproductive in the Word of God because they will not have received the love of the Truth when they hear it.

Hi Chickapee,

Thank you….for you and your sis for reading and considering. Not asking any one to believe these things….just to consider them. As you can tell, I am recharged again about posting. Discouragement and weariness are over….I do not know exactly where it came from. I’m human….still suffering from my own timidity…..and doubt.

I truly believe that most Christians have been snared into that “evil net” that has been cast upon them by men posing as ministers of “righteousness.” They are as the “fishes that are taken in an evil net” and need to be delivered by the Lord from their snares…..their teachings and ways. We have been living in this “evil time”….a time of temptation by the roaring lions (preachers) of falsehoods. Our Lord comes with the Truth that is to be revealed in order to deliver them.

(Eccl 9:12 KJV) For man also knoweth not his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare; so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them.

Erroneous men wait “secretly” as a lion in the den…..lying in wait to catch the “poor.” Not the literal poor but the poor in Spirit….those who know no better. The poor in Spirit put their trust blindly in to these men. They believe in their teachings….they are “drawn into their nets.”

(Psa 10:9 KJV) He lieth in wait secretly as a lion in his den: he lieth in wait to catch the poor: he doth catch the poor, when he draweth him into his net.

The “lion” preacher “humbles” himself….poses as a Christian…a preacher of righteousness in order to deceive.

10 He croucheth, and humbleth himself, that the poor may fall by his strong ones.

They seek to “devour the poor from off the earth”…..they seek to consume those who believe in their words.

(Prov 30:14 KJV) There is a generation, whose teeth are as swords, and their jaw teeth as knives, to devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from among men.

They are the “ministers” of the devil…walking about in pride…seeking whom they may devour with their false words of feigned righteousness. They are preachers of the Bible….but they preach in error….misusing the Bible to support their selfish goals and ambitions.

(1 Pet 5:8 KJV) Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

The Lord will not forget the spiritually “needy”….those poor in Spirit that have fallen victim to the preaching of false prophets. The “net” of the false fisherman shall snare him in his own wicked works.

(Psa 9:15 KJV) The heathen are sunk down in the pit that they made: in the net which they hid is their own foot taken.

The wicked, unrepentant-to-the-revealed-Truth pastor shall be snared in the work of his own hands. He shall perish in his own corruption ….be consumed by his own wickedness when God judges him. They can REPENT of their ways though and be SAVED from the coming wrath.

16 The LORD is known by the judgment which he executeth: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah.
17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.

The spiritually poor and needy shall not be forgotten….they shall be delivered, redeemed from their captors.

18 For the needy shall not alway be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish for ever.

The high and mighty religious men shall not prevail against the Truth.

19 Arise, O LORD; let not man prevail: let the heathen be judged in thy sight.

They will understand that they are just men.

20 Put them in fear, O LORD: that the nations may know themselves to be but men. Selah.
10:1 Why standest thou afar off, O LORD? why hidest thou thyself in times of trouble?

The “wicked” = the prideful pastors and leaders of the churches. They “persecute” the spiritually poor. They preach falsehoods to them and lead them down the wide path of ruin. They lead them into their covetous ways ….they lead them into envy and strife….they lead them away from His righteousness. The “wicked” pastor roars as the lion seeking whom he may devour with his words of falsehood.

2 The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined.

The “wicked” pastor/church leader boasts to his congregation of his heart’s desire. He wants to build that great, big church upon the hill and multiply the numbers. He wants glory for himself….he wants to build his ministry and make a name for himself. This is not too hard to see today. He “blesses” the covetous…those who join in with him in pursuing his own ambitions. He says he does it for God of course…that is part of the deception. He preaches for these things…he supports them by the wresting of the Scriptures…all part of the “evil net” of wicked men.

3 For the wicked boasteth of his heart's desire, and blesseth the covetous, whom the LORD abhorreth.

God is not in all of his thoughts…he truly does not seek after God. He truly is not a seeker of His Truth. He would rather build things and seek after the covetousness of his own heart….thinking that his successes must be a sign of godliness. He prospers in what he does and so becomes prideful….his reward is in this life.

4 The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.
5 His ways are always grievous; thy judgments are far above out of his sight: as for all his enemies, he puffeth at them.
6 He hath said in his heart, I shall not be moved: for I shall never be in adversity.

His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud. He preaches the Bible with his own understanding (deceit) and misuses it to get what he wants from others (fraud.) He brings a curse upon those who listen and believe in him…he brings envy, strife, turmoil to those who have become his servants.

7 His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue is mischief and vanity.
8 He sitteth in the lurking places of the villages: in the secret places doth he murder the innocent: his eyes are privily set against the poor.
9 He lieth in wait secretly as a lion in his den: he lieth in wait to catch the poor: he doth catch the poor, when he draweth him into his net.

These are the men who have crept in “unawares”….ungodly men. Of course they call themselves great “men of God”….that is all part of the deception. They have crept in as men slept. The “tares” were sown while men have slept.

(Jude 1:4 KJV) For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

They are the “grievous wolves” who have entered in among us….not sparing the flock.

(Acts 20:29 KJV) For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.

Only the FEW have escaped their influence….only the few have followed after His voice and not the voice of strangers. Only the “little flock” has been spared the rule of ungodly shepherds.



(John 10:11 KJV) I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

The “grievous wolves” have entered in and not spared the flock. The wolf has “caught” them in his mouth. He has caught them in his evil net….as fish….as birds in a cage. Only the “little flock” ….the few….have entered into His life and peace. Only the “little flock” has not fallen victim to ungodly pastors. The wolf has scattered the rest of the flock into divisions and strife and envy.

12 But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.
13 The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.
14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.

But Jesus died for their sins… their missing of the Truth. He will bring them again…he will wake them out of their sleep. They shall hear His voice in their “graves” and come out of the influence of the “grievous wolves.” Then we shall all be of ONE fold with ONE shepherd.

16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.
17 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.
18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

Our Lord shall deliver us from the hand of all of our enemies….the wicked pastors of falsehoods. He shall deliver us from their “graves” that they have put us in. “Saul” means “to ask”…Satan asked to tempt the church to pursue after the glory of this world…to turn the stone, literal meanings of the Scriptures into the bread of strife and envy. Only Christ Jesus is without sin and has paid for our sins…our misses of the Truth. “Sheol” is not coincidentally a derivative of “Saul.” Sheol is what many are in….they are in the “grave” of envy and strife….and the grave keepers…wicked pastors of “death”… have the power of “death” in their preaching…their teachings….their evil nets.

(2 Sam 22:1 KJV) And David spake unto the LORD the words of this song in the day that the LORD had delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul:
2 And he said, The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;

Our God shall save those who have fallen victim to the hand of “Saul”…. “Sheol”….wicked pastors. They shall be saved from “violence”….from envy, strife and hatred.

3 The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence.
4 I will call on the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.

The “waves of death” are the floods “ungodly men” who have entered in to the church unawares and not spared the flock. They are pastors/preachers of feigned “righteousness” who suppose that their gain is godliness. They have been successful….but only because this has been the plan of God all along.

5 When the waves of death compassed me, the floods of ungodly men made me afraid;

They are the “sorrows of hell” that have compassed his body…they are the “snares of death.” They have captured many “fish” in their evil net. But the Lord comes to rescue them and lead them into the Way of Truth and Life.

6 The sorrows of hell compassed me about; the snares of death prevented me;
7 In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried to my God: and he did hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry did enter into his ears.

The devil has the “power of death.” His ministers keep most of the church in “death” with their teachings of terror. They keep the flock in bondage to men’s commandments and doctrines by terrorizing those who believe in them. They preach you must observe certain days…they should tithe… they should believe in a certain way or burn in hell forever. They keep the congregations in terror when the true Life of God is peace and love and joy.

(Heb 2:14 KJV) Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

The Son who is the Truth shall indeed set us free….free from religious man’s errors…free from his teachings of terror….free from his bondage of commandments…free from his labor and heavy burdens.

(John 8:32 KJV) And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

(John 8:36 KJV) If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

As Herod kept Peter in a dark prison….so has Satan and his ministers kept the church “sleeping in the night” of its prison. As Peter was bound by two chains…so have the ministers of death kept the hands of the church bound by envy and strife. The keeper of the door of the prison = wicked pastors who preach falsehoods.

(Acts 12:6 KJV) And when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door kept the prison.

But the angel of the Lord will come upon the church that sits in darkness ….the archangel will come….Christ Jesus…the messenger of the covenant. The Light shall shine in the darkness of the “prison” that the wicked pastors have kept. The “chains” of the works of darkness shall fall off of the church’s hands. The church will awaken from its sleep…awaken it out of the “grave” and it will arise and gird itself and walk in His righteousness and salvation. The Lord comes to deliver His church from those who have the “power of death”…who keep the church in the “chains” of darkness.

7 And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands.

The awakening church will be clothed in a white garment….His works of righteousness and will follow Him.

8 And the angel said unto him, Gird thyself, and bind on thy sandals. And so he did. And he saith unto him, Cast thy garment about thee, and follow me.
9 And he went out, and followed him; and wist not that it was true which was done by the angel; but thought he saw a vision.

The “iron gate”….the gates of “hell”…the gates of Hades/ Sheol will not prevail in keeping the church in sin and death forever. We shall pass on through on ONE street ….the straight street that leads to His life and peace.

10 When they were past the first and the second ward, they came unto the iron gate that leadeth unto the city; which opened to them of his own accord: and they went out, and passed on through one street; and forthwith the angel departed from him.

The church will be delivered out of the hand of Satan and his ministers. They shall pass from the current “death” unto life in Christ Jesus.

11 And when Peter was come to himself, he said, Now I know of a surety, that the Lord hath sent his angel, and hath delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from all the expectation of the people of the Jews.

Thankful to the Lord for His deliverance from evil nets and snares

Jer 5:26For among my people are found wicked [men]: they lay wait,

as he that setteth snares; they set a trap, they catch men.

As a cage is full of birds, so [are] their houses full of deceit:

therefore they are become great, and waxen rich.They are waxen fat,

they shine:

yea, they overpass the deeds of the wicked:

they judge not the cause,

the cause of the fatherless, yet they prosper;

and the right of the needy do they not judge.

I thought of the cage of unclean and hateful birds when reading this verse thats Babylon Rev 18:2And he cried mightily with a strong voice,

saying, Babylon the great is fallen,
is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils,

and the hold of every foul spirit,

and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.


she is also the woman warned of by Solomon her perhaps ?Ecc 7:26And I find more bitter than death the woman,

whose heart [is] snares and nets,

[and] her hands [as] bands:

whoso pleaseth God shall escape from her;

but the sinner shall be taken by her.

Jesus comes with the revealed Truth in this last day and there will be a great multitude of people who will lay down their doctrines and commandments of men (that they have covered themselves with) in the Way of righteousness. This was all shown by example by the Lord coming to Jerusalem riding upon a foal of a donkey. He comes to those who receive the love of the Truth with meekness…..with His peace and gentleness. He will announce His arrival through his disciples….. “tell ye the daughter of Zion…”

(Mat 21:5 KJV) Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass.
6 And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them,
7 And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set him thereon.

Many shall spread their “garments” in the Way of righteousness. They shall lay down their own religious ways and thoughts for His knowledge and wisdom. They will “cut down” branches from the trees. “Cut down” = “to chop, lament, mourn.” They will humble themselves at His Truth in the Way of righteousness.

8 And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strowed them in the way.

The multitudes (Jews and gentiles) shall rejoice in His salvation…His righteousness…His mercy and forgiveness for our sins….our missing of the mark of the Truth. Our Lord comes as the King of kings….Lord of lords….and He comes to save us. “Hosanna” = “oh save!”

9 And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.

There will be a great movement when He comes to us….as we see in Matthew…..all the “city was moved.” “Moved” = to rock, quake, agitate. He will rock our world with His revealing of the Truth.

10 And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this?

The Truth comes as a green “shoot” out of the dry ground of the Scriptures. “Nazareth” = branch, shoot. His Truth will grow up in our hearts and produce true fruits of righteousness as compared to the thorns and thistles that corruptible man bears.

11 And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.

YET, as this world will “rock” with the coming of the revelation of the Truth, covetous men will still continue to buy and sell in the temple. They will pay no heed to the arriving of the Truth….just as they did 2000 years ago. This is the “abomination of desolation” that will continue in the temple as the Lord reveals the Truth to us. It will stand where it ought not…it will continue…it will abide until He comes to cast them out. Covetous men will not seek Him nor humble their hearts in the revealing of the Truth but will continue their buying and selling in the temple…they will not humble themselves at the Truth. If we receive the love of the Truth with a contrite heart, He comes meek and lowly to us. But if we continue in our proud, covetous ways…making merchandise of the people of God, then he comes with a whip to cast us out of His temple. The wrath of God comes upon the children of willful disobedience.

12 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,

The “abomination of desolation” is covetousness in our churches. When we “see” or understand this, we are to flee from those who call themselves brothers but are idolaters in their covetousness. We are not to partake with them. This is all saying the same thing. A covetous person who calls himself a brother in Christ = a fornicator = idolater = railer = drunkard = extortioner.

(1 Cor 5:11 KJV) But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.

We are the temple of God and there are the high and mighty men among us who like to make merchandise of us. They have turned the “house of prayer” into a “den of thieves”….they have brought desolation to the temple. They have made the church a “house of merchandise” by preaching the Word of God deceitfully. They preach their own brand of righteousness….their own brand of salvation….they preach “peace, peace”….selling “doves” to the poor in spirit. They will continue to wrest the Scriptures to their own destruction. They will continue to deceive the poor in spirit and not feed the needy with the Truth.

13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.
14 And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them.

Doves were the sacrifice for the poor…those who could not afford sheep. They represent the selling of the poor in spirit…those who know no better. Our Lord will spare the “poor” when He comes to drive out those wicked men who will continue buying and selling.

(Psa 74:19 KJV) O deliver not the soul of thy turtledove unto the multitude of the wicked: forget not the congregation of thy poor for ever.
20 Have respect unto the covenant: for the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty.
21 O let not the oppressed return ashamed: let the poor and needy praise thy name.
22 Arise, O God, plead thine own cause: remember how the foolish man reproacheth thee daily.

He shall spare the spiritual “poor and needy”….He shall save their souls from deceitful men.

(Psa 72:13 KJV) He shall spare the poor and needy, and shall save the souls of the needy.
14 He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence: and precious shall their blood be in his sight.

The “poor” shall not hear His rebuke…for they are the poor in spirit and are to be saved from wicked, violent men….the “rich” in our churches...in the temple of God.

(Prov 13:8 KJV) The ransom of a man's life are his riches: but the poor heareth not rebuke.

When we hear His revealed Word today, we are to tremble at his Word. Jerusalem was “moved” by the arrival of Jesus. It quaked…it trembled. The multitude cut down branches of the trees…..they humbled themselves at His Word. They were of a contrite spirit.

(Isa 66:2 KJV) For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.

But there will be Christians who will continue their covetous “sacrifices” in the temple of God. They will continue to buy and sell. Even though there will be a multitude going after the Truth, they will not seek Him nor humble their selves at His Word. They will choose their own ways and thoughts and delight in their covetous abominations. They will continue preaching ….wresting of the Scriptures…for unjust gain. They will continue to fleece the poor sheep who know no better. They will continue building and planting…even though the Lord reveals His Truth so that they may be save.

3 He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog's neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine's blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations.

Even though He will call them, they will not answer. Even though He will speak, they will not hear. They will not lay down their garments nor mourn for their sins. They are the “man of sin” who will continue to boastfully buy and sell in the temple of God until He recompenses them. God’s wrath will come upon those who will not obey the Truth but will continue in their evil ways before the “eyes” of God…..in the face of His revealed knowledge.

4 I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.

We are the hear the Word of the Lord and tremble….as Jerusalem was “moved.” We are to glorify God….. “Hosanna in the Highest!”

5 Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name's sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.

The Lord will come to cast out of the temple those who will continue to buy and sell their religious goods. The “voice from the temple” will the Lord’s who will render a recompense to His enemies.

6 A voice of noise from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the LORD that rendereth recompense to his enemies.

That voice will be saying:

(John 2:16 KJV) And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise.

Our pastors/church leaders have been given to covetousness…..the abomination of desolation that has made the temple of God into a marketplace….into a den of thieves. They preach the Word of God in deceit in order to defraud the poor in spirit. They deal falsely.

(Jer 6:13 KJV) For from the least of them even unto the greatest of them every one is given to covetousness; and from the prophet even unto the priest every one dealeth falsely.

They will continue to sell their “doves” to the poor…they will preach “peace, peace” when there is no peace in their activities. They will preach “peace and safety” when the Lord is revealing His Truth.

14 They have healed also the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.

Even in the face of His knowledge they will not be ashamed of their abomination….covetousness. The Lord comes to the temple to cast them out…to cast them down. He will visit them in their willful sins.

15 Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore they shall fall among them that fall: at the time that I visit them they shall be cast down, saith the LORD.

There will be children of disobedience…..they will not walk in the Way of righteousness…they will not strew their garments in the Way. They will continue to sit in the temple making merchandise of the people of God…the man of sin will sit in the temple as if he was God….in his prideful ways and thoughts.

16 Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.

They will not hear the sound of the trumpet….they will refuse the hearing of the revealed Truth when it announces His presence.

17 Also I set watchmen over you, saying, Hearken to the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We will not hearken.
18 Therefore hear, ye nations, and know, O congregation, what is among them.
19 Hear, O earth: behold, I will bring evil upon this people, even the fruit of their thoughts, because they have not hearkened unto my words, nor to my law, but rejected it.

Their sacrifices will not be acceptable….He will drive them out of His temple.

20 To what purpose cometh there to me incense from Sheba, and the sweet cane from a far country? your burnt offerings are not acceptable, nor your sacrifices sweet unto me.

They have brought desolation to the temple of God….they have destroyed His heritage with their covetous ways and thoughts. We are the body of Christ…the temple of his body. But the Lord comes to raise us up again….He comes to exalt those who will humble themselves at His Truth. He will destroy those who will continue to defile the temple….who continue in their abomination of desolation…..covetousness….making merchandise of the people of God. The desolators will be desolated themselves. The “three days” speaks of His forgiveness for our sins that we have done in ignorance of the revealed Truth. But when the trumpet sounds and we refuse to hear, then our sins will be upon our own heads….no more sacrifice for our sins because of willful disobedience to the Truth.

(John 2:18 KJV) Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign showest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?
19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
20 Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?
21 But he spake of the temple of his body.
22 When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.

At this coming time, the Jews will be grafted in again….as shown by example….the “Jews’ Passover was at hand….” The temple will be cleansed of those stumbling blocks and those who will continue in their iniquity.

(John 2:13 KJV) And the Jews' passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem,
14 And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:
15 And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables;
16 And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise.

Jesus rode a foal of a donkey into Jerusalem. Jesus instructed his disciples to “go into the village over AGAINST you”……veiled language to the Law that is contrary to us. The “village” is the Law that is against us….opposite…contrary to us.

(Mat 21:2 KJV) Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me.

The “village” is the “handwriting of ordinances” that is against us….contrary to us. He will take it out of the “way”…..he will triumph over principalities and powers….triumph over “death.”

(Col2:13 KJV) And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

Specifically, we are NOT TO COVET after other peoples’ “gold, silver and apparel” as Paul tells those who have been made overseers of the flock of God…over His church.

(Acts 20:33 KJV) I have coveted no man's silver, or gold, or apparel.
34 Yea, ye yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me.
35 I have showed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

We must rule over sin in the revealing of the Truth….it shall not have dominion over us in the revealed Truth of our Lord Jesus Christ....who is the "door." With His knowledge, we can rule over our sins.



(Gen 4:7 KJV) If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.

It is the sin of COVETING that many are “dead” in. It is “lust” or coveting that has brought forth “death” to those who have been drawn away with their lusts for the things of this world. Coveting after things brings hatred, division, envy and strife into the church….DEATH. They….those overseers of the church of God…. misuse the Scriptures in order to fraudulently gain riches from the poor in Spirit….from the flock of God. Paul specifically highlights “lust”….or coveting as THE sin that brings forth “death.”

(Rom 7:7 KJV) What shall we say then? is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.
8 But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead.

Coveting slays its victims….when it is full grown it “births” death….the “foal” of a donkey.

9 For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.
10 And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death.

The lust for things deceives men and “kills” them so that they can not live after the Spirit. But they are “dead” in Christ….their sins are forgiven. This is a reversible condition.

11 For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me.
12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.
13 Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.
14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.
15 For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.
16 If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.
17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.
19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.
20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.
22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.

Christ Jesus will deliver those who are in this type of “death”….they will be able to rule over their sin in his revealed Truth….in Life when He comes with His knowledge.

24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

When lust or coveting has “conceived,” it brings forth sin and sin when it is complete, perfected brings forth death. The “foal” of the donkey is “death.”

(James 1:14 KJV) But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

The Law specifically says we shall not covet after another man’s donkey. The Hebrew word for “donkey” here is “chamowr” and is directly related to the Hebrew word “chomer” which means “materialism”….unbridled lust for physical things….big church buildings, big ministries, riches, big congregations, etc. Those overseers of the church have fallen into that “pit” of coveting after the things of the “poor”…their money, their time, their things. They see other pastors being successful in their religious planting and building and so covet what they have as well. An endless cycle ensues…a death spiral.

(Deu 5:21 KJV) Neither shalt thou desire thy neighbour's wife, neither shalt thou covet thy neighbour's house, his field, or his manservant, or his maidservant, his ox, or his ass, or any thing that is thy neighbour's.

The Lord will ride upon the foal…symbolizing His triumph over this “death” that many have fallen into…the “pit” that many have fallen into. He shall pull them out of their covetousness…out of the pit of “death” ….on the spiritual Sabbath day. The ties of “death” shall not prevail. He shall loosen them so that they may serve Him.

(Luke 14:5 KJV) And answered them, saying, Which of you shall have an ass or an ox fallen into a pit, and will not straightway pull him out on the sabbath day?

The “death” is the offspring (foal) of lust. Jesus sits upon the foal….meaning he triumphs over death….the last enemy. Christ’s presence brings to life those who are “dead” in the church…. “dead” in their sins and trespasses. But they must cast away their works of darkness (works of covetousness) when they hear His voice in this last day...in the spiritual Sabbath Day.


(1 Cor 15:23 KJV) But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.
24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.
26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.

All things must be subdued by Christ Jesus….all things must be put under his feet….just as the multitudes put their garments in the Way…laying down all imaginations of men that exalt themselves against His knowledge. All doctrines and commandments of men must be strewn in the Way….under His feet. All religious pride must be cast down.

28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

The Lord will “loose them” with His command……loosen those who are “dead” in sin…..coveting…which causes those who live in lust to not love one another. He will bring again those who are “dead” in sins and will use them for His work. He will nail to the cross those handwriting ordinances that are against us….the “village that is against you.”

It is no coincidence that Balaam rode a donkey…one that spoke to him…while he pursued his love for the wages of unrighteousness...the wages of sin is DEATH.

(2 Pet 2:15 KJV) Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;
16 But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man's voice forbad the madness of the prophet.

The donkey spoke to him…and hindered the “madness of the prophet.” Likewise, those “rich” rulers in our churches will have their riches testify against them. Their riches have served them well in the past (just like Balaam's donkey)...but will witness against them in this last day in hopes that they too will see the drawn sword of the angel of the Lord.


(James 5:1 KJV) Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you.
2 Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten.
3 Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.
4 Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth.

The Lord will ride the “donkey” in triumph over death….and those who will love the Truth will also have dominion over their sin and rule with Him in Life in the Way of righteousness. But those who will continue to buy and sell in the temple…making merchandise of the church of God, He comes to cast out….because they will have refused to hear the Truth and be saved. God will cause us who hear to triumph in Christ.

(2 Cor 2:14 KJV) Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.
15 For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish:
16 To the one we are the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things?

But those who will continue to corrupt the Word of God in their covetousness will not have His life.

17 For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.

“Death” shall be swallowed in victory….our Lord will ride upon the donkey in a triumphant entry into “Jerusalem”…in the wisdom of God.

(1 Cor 15:54 KJV) So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

The “sting of death” is sin and the strength of sin is the Law. Thou shalt not covet…..

56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

He will give us victory over our sins…..and deliver us from the ungodly, covetous preachers of “death” who have the power of the grave in their deceptive preaching of the Word of God.

57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

The love of money is the root of ALL evil. Those men who have COVETED after these things have drowned in destruction and perdition…they have entered through the wide gate of ruin. But our Lord Jesus Christ will pull them out of their “pit” of “death” at the appointed time….at His appearing.

(1 Tim 6:9 KJV) But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
13 I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;

The “abomination of desolation” is to be UNDERSTOOD…..our sin is to be declared to us….so that we may FLEE from the things of covetousness in our worship. The abomination of desolation = covetousness. When we shall “see”…..that is, to understand….the abomination, we are to flee from it.

(Mat 24:15 KJV) When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

Those that be in “Judaea” are to flee into the “mountains” = those that be in Christ are to flee into His righteousness.

16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:

We are to flee from covetousness….to flee from making the people of God “merchandise” through deceptive preaching.

(1 Tim 6:10 KJV) For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

If a pastor is a “man of God,” he is to recognize covetousness in his heart…or in his church, and flee from it…..and follow after His righteousness…His love…His faith….His “mountains.”

11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

Those that name the name of Christ (those that be in “Judaea”) are to depart from iniquity….covetousness.

(2 Tim 2:19 KJV) Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.

If a man will purge himself from these things then he can be used for the Master’s use and be prepared for every good work. The Lord will have need for us if we loosen covetousness from our hearts.

21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.

He is to “flee” from lusts….covetousness in his own heart . We are the temple of the Lord and covetousness should have no place in our hearts. He will reveal what is in our hearts by the revealing of His Truth….then we can “see” the abomination of desolation” standing where it ought not. When we understand, then we are to flee from it and follow after righteousness, love , peace…..and call on Him out of a PURE heart….one not steeped in covetousness.

22 Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

We are to flee to the “mountains”….the “mountains” of God. His righteousness is like the great “mountains:”

(Psa 36:6 KJV) Thy righteousness is like the great mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: O LORD, thou preservest man and beast.

The “mountains” shall bring peace to the people.

(Psa 72:1 KJV) A Psalm for Solomon. Give the king thy judgments, O God, and thy righteousness unto the king's son.
2 He shall judge thy people with righteousness, and thy poor with judgment.
3 The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the little hills, by righteousness.

He shall deliver His people from the oppressors…..those pastors who preach in covetousness and bring the hatred, division, envy and strife into the lives of the “poor” in Spirit with it. The poor in Spirit have no fruits of righteousness because of greedy pastors.

4 He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor.

The “prince” that has no understanding is also a great “oppressor.” The pastor of the church who has no knowledge of God….no wisdom of God…is a great oppressor of the flock of God. He brings in hatred and strife among the brothers and sisters with his covetousness. But if that pastor would turn from his way…hating his own covetousness….then his days shall be prolonged. He can then be a true preacher of God’s righteousness.

(Prov 28:16 KJV) The prince that wanteth understanding is also a great oppressor: but he that hateth covetousness shall prolong his days.

If we can flee from covetousness in our hearts or in our churches from those “brothers” who are bogged down in it, then we are to flee to the “mountains” of Zion….where there is true LIFE. The brethren can then dwell together in UNITY.

(Psa 133:1 KJV) A Song of degrees of David. Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!
2 It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;
3 As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.

We are to flee from the “abomination of desolation”….flee from “idolatry” which is COVETOUSNESS.

(1 Cor 10:14 KJV) Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.
15 I speak as to wise men; judge ye what I say.

Idolatry is COVETOUSNESS….the “abomination of desolation.”

(Col 3:5 KJV) Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:

The wrath of God will come upon those who will not hear His counsel and continue in their covetousness….making merchandise of the temple of God. ….making it a house of merchandise….a den of thieves….desolation.

6 For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:

As a church, we have walked also in these things in our past ignorance, but now in the revealing of the Truth , we are to FLEE these things. We are to put on the “new man” which is RENEWED IN KNOWLEDGE. “Come let us make man in our image…”…the express image of God…..Christ Jesus.

7 In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.
8 But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.
9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

Why is there hatred in our churches….why is there “wars” and fighting among us? It is because of lust….covetousness. Covetousness “kills”….it brings hatred among the brothers. It brings “death”….hating one another. Hating our brothers = “death.” It is the wide gate that many have entered through….it is brought on by the erroneous preaching of covetous pastors.

(James 4:1 KJV) From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?
2 Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.
3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
5 Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?

But with His revealed knowledge, then we can “see” or UNDERSTAND the “abomination of desolation” and escape from it….we can then flee to His “mountains” of righteousness…peace….love….joy….unity. We must not keep company with those who will not flee with us….we must no longer “eat” at the same “table” as they. We are not to “company” with “fornicators.” Fornicators = people who are covetous and call themselves “brothers” in Christ.

(1 Cor 5:9 KJV) I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:

This is not talking about the outside world…but inside the church itself. The “abomination of desolation” should not be in the holy place…in the temple of God.

10 Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world.
11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?

The teachings of covetous preachers are the “tables of demons.” The KJV translates it into “devils.” The word “demon” comes from the Greek word “daio” which means “to distribute fortunes.” The covetous preacher is sacrificing to “devils” by deceitfully handling the Word of God in pursuit of his own gain…his own riches. He wants to build that big church upon the hill…he covets money…he covets church riches…he covets power over the flock…..and he will preach erroneous interpretations of the Bible to get what he wants. We are not to fellowship with these people when we “see” the “abomination of desolation” in their ways and thoughts….in the temple of God….where it ought not be.

(1 Cor 10:20 KJV) But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.
21 Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils.
22 Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he?
23 All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.

This is what it is all about….man not seeking after the wealth of another….covetousness. It is about religious man not deceitfully preaching the Word of God (the doctrine of devils) for unjust gain.

24 Let no man seek his own, but every man another's wealth.

The “rich man”….rich pastor….must deny himself. It will be very difficult for the “rich man” to enter the kingdom of God.

(Mark 10:25 KJV) It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
26 And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved?

Only God can bring them into repentance at the revealed knowledge of the Truth. Only God can release them from the snare that the devil has brought them into….only God can pull them out of the “pit” of covetousness….only God can resurrect them into newness of Life through the renewing of the Spirit within them.

27 And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.
28 Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee.

We are not to keep company…be co-participants….with covetous churches (houses)….covetous “brothers” who call themselves brothers in Christ, covetous pastors, etc. We are to leave…forsake….covetous churches, “brothers,” pastors, doctrines and commandments of men for His Truth.

29 And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's,
30 But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.

When we leave these things and start to flee to the “mountains,” we are not to believe in their lies that they will preach in order to keep us there. They will see us leaving their company and seek to keep us in their ways and thoughts by preaching “peace and safety.” They will say that the “sword and famine” shall not be present in their company….peace and safety.

(Jer 14:14 KJV) Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart.
15 Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that prophesy in my name, and I sent them not, yet they say, Sword and famine shall not be in this land; By sword and famine shall those prophets be consumed.

“Peace and safety” will be preached when people start to flee from covetous preachers. They will preach it in His name....erroneously. But the covetous preachers will be consumed by their own lusts….by their own covetousness. The “heat” will be turned up.

(1 Th 5:3 KJV) For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

The Lord will deliver the godly and punish those “prophets”…those covetous pastors who will continue walking after the flesh in the “lust” of uncleanness….after the covetousness in their hearts. They will continue to build and plant their religious empires and speak evil of those who will follow after the Truth. They will despise the government of God…they will despise His revealed Truth. They will not flee to His “mountains.” They will be guilty of “presumptuous sin”…..knowingly continuing in their covetousness….after receiving the Truth but not believing in it.

(2 Pet 2:9 KJV) The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:
10 But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.

They will not retain God in their knowledge (despise His government…His Truth) and so will be consumed by their own lusts.

(Rom 1:28 KJV) And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

They will seek to allure those who are escaping to the "mountains"...fleeing from their covetousness...back to their errors.


(2 Pet 2:18 KJV) For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.

Though we will preach the Truth to the covetous preachers….they will not listen…we will seem to them as though we “mock” as the sons-in-law in Sodom thought of Lot’s message. They will not take it seriously. They will comfort themselves in preaching “peace and safety.”

(Gen 19:14 KJV) And Lot went out, and spake unto his sons in law, which married his daughters, and said, Up, get you out of this place; for the LORD will destroy this city. But he seemed as one that mocked unto his sons in law.

We are to FLEE….to escape Babylon…the confusion…where every evil work is practiced in covetousness. We are not to be “consumed in the iniquity of the city”….the lusts of the flesh….through covetousness. We are to escape becoming part of the “reprobate mind” crowd that will not listen to the Truth and be saved.



15 And when the morning arose, then the angels hastened Lot, saying, Arise, take thy wife, and thy two daughters, which are here; lest thou be consumed in the iniquity of the city.
16 And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; the LORD being merciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him without the city.

We are to ESCAPE WITH OUR LIVES….NOT TO LOOK BACK …..escape to the MOUNTAINS OF GOD…to His righteousness. The wrath of God is going to come upon the children of disobedience…those that will not be estranged from their religious covetousness.

17 And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed.

The “ransom” of a man’s life is his riches…..the ransom of the rich “rulers”/pastors/church leaders in our churches are their riches. Those pastors who trust in their church wealth that they have acquired through preaching the Bible erroneously will not enter into the kingdom of God without hearing His counsel and denying themselves to follow Him. To enter into the kingdom of God is to understand and preach the revealed Word of God….to have mastery of His Scripture of Truth….without covetousness. The Lord will rebuke and chasten those rich pastors that He loves. He will counsel them into the Way of righteousness. But will they hear and obey? The “poor” will not hear the rebuke because they are the poor in Spirit….they are the spiritually poor and needy who need to be delivered from their rich “oppressors.”

(Prov 13:8 KJV) The ransom of a man's life are his riches: but the poor heareth not rebuke.

As we see by the example of the rich ruler in Luke, in this last day, the rich pastors will be counseled in what they must do to inherit eternal life….to be able to enter into the kingdom of God.

Luke 18:18 And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?
19 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God.

They can not trust who in their own righteousness….

20 Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother.
21 And he said, All these have I kept from my youth up.

They can not trust in their own riches and say they have “need of nothing.” Gain is not a sign of godliness…..big church buildings are not a sign of their goodness… big ministries are not a sign of their righteousness…..church riches blinds the eyes of the leaders who are supposed to be the “eyes” of the church body…the watchmen of the church. If they covet after the things of this world, then they are really “wretched, miserable, poor, blind and naked.”

(Rev 3:17 KJV) Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

He will counsel them to buy of His wisdom (gold tried in the fire) that they may be truly rich….so that they may be clothed in His righteous works and not their own. Their own “wonderful works” will not clothe them….their shameful ways will be exposed for all to see.

18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

They are to deny themselves….deny their riches that they have amassed in this last day. They are to sell what they have gathered by deceitful preaching and buy gold tried in the fire. They are to “distribute unto the poor”…..they are to preach the revealed Truth of our Lord to the spiritual poor and needy. Those who have stolen need to not steal any longer but be productive in His revealed Scripture of Truth. They are to hear His counsel and follow Him.

Luke 18:22 Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.

The Lord will rebuke and chasten those He loves in this last day….He will rebuke and counsel those rich pastors that He loves.

(Mark 10:21 KJV) Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.

They are to be zealous for His Word and repent:

(Rev 3:19 KJV) As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

But there will be those rich pastors who will not be able to deny themselves. They will not be able to give up their riches. They will not be able to hear and obey His counsel. They will have made a choice to trust in their own riches rather than hear, obey and be saved from the coming wrath of God.

Luke 18:23 And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful: for he was very rich.
24 And when Jesus saw that he was very sorrowful, he said, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!
25 For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
26 And they that heard it said, Who then can be saved?

They will not be able to overcome their love for riches.

(Rev 3:21 KJV) To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

Those that will trust in their church riches and not obey His counsel will depart from the Lord in grief. Those that will continue to trust in their own wealth shall be grieved as the rich ruler who departed from the Lord did.

(Mark 10:22 KJV) And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions.

The “turning away” of the simple….those rich pastors who will not obey His counsel….shall “slay them.” The “prosperity of fools” shall destroy them. Their “wonderful works” will not save them in the end.

(Prov 1:32 KJV) For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.

But if they hear and obey His Word, then they shall dwell safely.

33 But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.

Whoever despises His counsel…..His Word…shall be destroyed….but that rich pastor that will fear the commandment shall be rewarded….with true riches.

(Prov 13:13 KJV) Whoso despiseth the word shall be destroyed: but he that feareth the commandment shall be rewarded.

Who among the rich pastors can be saved? Nothing is impossible for God. Those that will hear and receive His instruction with joy….and obey will be saved. Zacchaeus is that example of the rich pastor that can be saved. Zacchaeus was rich and was chief among the publicans. Many pastors today are also collectors of “taxes” from the spiritually poor and needy. They preach for price and reward…they place heavy burdens upon their congregations.

(Luke 19:2 KJV) And, behold, there was a man named Zacchaeus, which was the chief among the publicans, and he was rich.

Zacchaeus was a seeker of the Lord though…..he sought Him to see who He really was…but he could not find him because of the “press”….as pastors today can not see Him because of the multitude of their riches (they are blind)…the envy…the strife of the multitude…. and are of little “stature”….little maturity. They are carnal children. Zacchaeus represents the rich pastor who is carnal….of “little stature”….because of riches and the envy, strife, divisions that come with it….but they will be receptive to the Lord and His counsel.

3 And he sought to see Jesus who he was; and could not for the press, because he was little of stature.

The rich pastors have run before Christ….they have not stayed in the doctrine of Christ….to love one another. Preaching in covetousness brings hatred, strife and division into the churches. Like Zacchaeus, they have exalted themselves as they try to see Him as He is….they think their thoughts and ways are like His thoughts and ways.

4 And he ran before, and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see him: for he was to pass that way.

But as Jesus counseled Zaachaeus, he also counsels those whom he loves. They are to “make haste”….be zealous….and “come down”…repent and humble theirselves at His Truth.

5 And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said unto him, Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for to day I must abide at thy house.
6 And he made haste, and came down, and received him joyfully.

Zacchaeus heard the voice of the Lord and followed His instruction. He received Him joyfully. The rich pastors also are to hear His voice and open the door and He will come in to sup with them and them with Him.

(Rev 3:20 KJV) Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Jesus also went in to sup with Zacchaeus. The Lord will also come to those who will receive His Word joyfully…He will abide in their “house” also…He will be their “guest.”

7 And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, That he was gone to be guest with a man that is a sinner.

And in contrast to the rich ruler who wanted to know the minimum requirement to inherit eternal life, Zacchaeus was a cheerful giver….Zacchaeus became a preacher of the Truth as typified by giving to the “poor.” He restored “fourfold.” The rich ruler did not receive the love of the Truth…it was grievous to him….Zacchaeus received it joyfully.

8 And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold.

Anyone who will hear His voice today and receive it with joy and do what His voice says is a “son of Abraham.” Abraham believed in what God said and it was credited to him as righteousness.

9 And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham.
10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

No matter how great of a sinner we have been, if we believe and obey the voice of the Lord in this last day, it will be imputed to us as His righteousness….we also will be a “son of Abraham.” How will the rich pastors receive the revealed Truth in this last day? Will they believe and obey or will they depart from His counsel and perish in their own corruption….in covetousness….in their own riches?

(James 2:23 KJV) And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.
24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.

Zacchaeus had “works” of faith in the receiving of the instruction of the Lord…..he restored “fourfold.” This “fourfold” restoration comes from the “law”…the “torah”…which means “instruction.” Those who have made merchandise of the sheep of God have stolen His sheep. They are to restore “fourfold.”

(Exo 22:1 KJV) If a man shall steal an ox, or a sheep, and kill it, or sell it; he shall restore five oxen for an ox, and four sheep for a sheep.

David also took a “lamb” from the poor….spiritually speaking.

(2 Sam 12:2 KJV) The rich man had exceeding many flocks and herds:
3 But the poor man had nothing, save one little ewe lamb, which he had bought and nourished up: and it grew up together with him, and with his children; it did eat of his own meat, and drank of his own cup, and lay in his bosom, and was unto him as a daughter.
4 And there came a traveller unto the rich man, and he spared to take of his own flock and of his own herd, to dress for the wayfaring man that was come unto him; but took the poor man's lamb, and dressed it for the man that was come to him.
5 And David's anger was greatly kindled against the man; and he said to Nathan, As the LORD liveth, the man that hath done this thing shall surely die:
6 And he shall restore the lamb fourfold, because he did this thing, and because he had no pity.

This “fourfold” restoration is spelled out in Psalms.

(Psa 51:1 KJV) To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David, when Nathan the prophet came unto him, after he had gone in to Bathsheba. Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.
2 Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.

#1: acknowledge transgressions….sin that is ever before them….covetousness.

3 For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.

The sheep….His people….belong to the Lord. They are not to be made merchandise of….to be “stolen” with deceptive, covetous preaching.

4 Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.
5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me.
6 Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.
7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
8 Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.
9 Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.
10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.

#2: Teach the transgressors His ways….so that the sinners may be converted to Him…. so that the poor in Spirit may know Him.

13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.

#3: “Sing aloud” of His righteousness….be a witness of His salvation in your own life. Testify how the Lord has saved you from your covetousness….from sin…from darkness.

14 Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.

#4: Show forth His praise……preach the Scripture of Truth.

15 O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall show forth thy praise.
16 For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering.

Zacchaeus “came down” from the sycamore tree….he humbled himself at the instruction of the Lord. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit….a broken and contrite heart He will not despise.

17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

His people are to be assembled in the revealed Truth. He will build His church in His revelation of the knowledge of the Truth. This knowledge is revealed by the Lord from heaven and not earthly-minded pastors.

18 Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem.

In other words, rich pastors are to be like Peter and FEED the sheep. Though, like Peter, they had denied them with their covetous works, they are to be converted back to God…they are to have faith in His revealed Word…… and are to feed the sheep….feed the church of God with the revealed Truth in the appointed time...in due season.

(Luke 22:32 KJV) But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

Those that will hear the Spirit today are to feed the sheep. “Simon” means “hearing” and “Jonah” means “dove” as in the Spirit that descends from the opened Word of God….from heaven.

(John 21:17 KJV) He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

this verse , more so this chapter has always made me look closer when looking up the sin of covetness

I was also this past week looking at 4 of retoring things and how 4 seems to be some foundational Truth
4 Spirits , 4 winds , 4 horses , 4 fountains/river in the River head in Genisis 4 gospels Matt ,mark Luke, John 4 beasts / creatures full of eyes and 4 in the Cherubim ox , eagle man lion 4 corners , 4 horns on the altar 4 angels etc ..

Hi Chickapee, thank you for that verse…it explains a lot about what the church has been going through. Covetousness is THE sin that we are to watch out for….because that is what the grievous “wolves” would devour the prey (the sheep…the church of God) with. The wolves love money…they covet after it and so preach the Word of God in deceitfulness in order to make merchandise of the flock. They are wolves in sheep’s clothing….they have been preachers of feigned “righteousness.” And with their deceit, they have led many in the church down that wide path of destruction….into ruin….hatred, strife and envy.

(Acts 20:28 KJV) Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.
30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.
31 Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.
32 And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.

“I HAVE COVETED NO MAN’S SILVER, OR GOLD, OR APPAREL.” This is not a trivial statement written by Paul….he is showing us his own example on how a church leader should behave. . Paul did not covet after another man’s “silver, gold or apparel.” So also should a church leader not be preaching in order to unjustly gain riches …..with fraudulent teachings of the Scriptures. Many preachers today support their “prosperity gospel” with Bible verses….in error of the Truth of those verses. Covetousness is the abomination of desolation….which has turned His house into a house of merchandise…a den of thieves. Who can not see that this is what is wrong with many pastors today?

33 I have coveted no man's silver, or gold, or apparel.
34 Yea, ye yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me.
35 I have showed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

The “grievous wolves”….and those men who arise from us, preach “perverse things” in order to draw away “disciples after them.” With their preaching, they have deceived many and led them down the wide path of ruin. They suppose that gain is godliness. They preach things in order to gather gain to themselves.

(1 Tim 6:5 KJV) Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.
7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.

The coveting after money has drowned many men in destruction and perdition. They have taken that road down to ruin…..covetousness brings “death”….hatred, strife and envy among the flock of God.

9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

Paul didn’t just single out coveting for nothing in Romans. Coveting brings forth “death”…it has the power to slay those who fallen into the temptation and a snare of the devil. But here is the good part: our Lord Jesus Christ covers our sins through his sacrifice. He will save us from this “death.”

(Rom 7:7 KJV) What shall we say then? is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.
8 But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead.
9 For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.
10 And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death.
11 For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me.

Those that are led by the Spirit are not under the Law. Those that love each other (are led by the Spirit) do not covet after the things of the flesh….after the things of this world. They are free indeed. They do not preach falsehoods from the Bible in order to gain big church buildings, build big ministries, and build big religious empires with all of its riches.

(Gal 5:18 KJV) But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.

Many “kings” (pastors) today build their “houses” by unrighteousness….through their covetousness that is in their hearts. They have led many into their “houses” of deceit….houses of “death”….houses of hatred, division, envy and strife. They preach in error…they are “lions” that “roar” after their prey….the spiritually poor and needy…that fall victim to their deceitful preaching.

(Jer 22:13 KJV) Woe unto him that buildeth his house by unrighteousness, and his chambers by wrong; that useth his neighbour's service without wages, and giveth him not for his work;
14 That saith, I will build me a wide house and large chambers, and cutteth him out windows; and it is ceiled with cedar, and painted with vermilion.
15 Shalt thou reign, because thou closest thyself in cedar? did not thy father eat and drink, and do judgment and justice, and then it was well with him?
16 He judged the cause of the poor and needy; then it was well with him: was not this to know me? saith the LORD.

Their eyes and their hearts are only after their own covetousness. They bring in hatred and division among the spiritually poor and needy…..they “shed innocent blood.”

17 But thine eyes and thine heart are not but for thy covetousness, and for to shed innocent blood, and for oppression, and for violence, to do it.

Many pastors have coveted after money…..they have brought the abomination of desolation into the temple of God…..the abomination of covetousness. Our Lord comes to reveal His Truth to us so that we may understand…see…. the abomination of desolation that stands where it ought not to be. We can then flee from it. But woe to those who will continue after the covetousness in their hearts….who think that the wrath of God will not come upon them…who will be preaching “peace and safety” in the face of the revealed Truth. They will think that no evil shall come upon them in their covetous ways and thoughts. They think that by putting their “nest on high” shall save them from the coming wrath. Gain is NOT godliness.

(Hab 2:9 KJV) Woe to him that coveteth an evil covetousness to his house, that he may set his nest on high, that he may be delivered from the power of evil!

When a pastor preaches out of the covetousness of his heart….he cuts off many people who listen to him from the Way of righteousness….from true Life….from God’s peace. He sins against his own body…..sins against his own soul. We are the body of Christ.

10 Thou hast consulted shame to thy house by cutting off many people, and hast sinned against thy soul.

Spiritual “Fornication” is covetousness. The abomination of desolation….covetousness…has no place in the temple of God…..we are the temple of God….we are not our own. Many pastors though have set up the abomination of desolation in the temple of God…they have taken the members of his body (the many in the church) and have made them members of a “harlot.” Babylon is the mother of harlots. This is all spiritually about covetousness in the church body…where it should not be.

(1 Cor 6:15 KJV) Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.

Those that are joined to the “harlot” live after the flesh…they pursue after the covetousness of their hearts…they seek to make merchandise of the body of Christ…the many members.

16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.

But he that is joined to the Lord is of One Spirit.

17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

We are to flee “fornication”….flee COVETOUSNESS….flee the abomination of desolation.

18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

Many have been married to that “wife” Jezebel. In Revelation 2:20…..that “woman” Jezebel = that “wife” Jezebel. Many have committed “fornication” with her teachings….which are teachings of covetousness. It is all about covetousness….and the preaching of covetous pastors that lead many astray. Idolatry = covetousness. Fornication = covetousness. Drunkenness= covetousness.

(Rev 2:20 KJV) Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.

Our Lord will give those who have committed “fornication” a time to repent. He will reveal the Truth to us and we, that receive the love of the Truth, shall be saved from our sins.

21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.

He comes to show us our sins…so that we may repent and be saved from the coming wrath of God. Yet, there will be those pastors who will not depart from their covetous ways and thoughts. They will not repent of their covetous deeds. They will refuse to let their “prisoners” go out of their prisons……they will continue to take advantage of the spiritually poor and needy. Those that will continue to commit “adultery” with her after the receiving of the Truth shall be cast into “great tribulation”….the wrath of God.

22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.
23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.

The “depths of Satan” = pursuing their teachings of covetousness…in the face of the revealed Truth.

24 But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden.

The Son of man comes to preach the Truth to them…they will hear…but will they receive the love of the Truth and be saved? Will they turn their ears from the revealed Truth?

(Ezek 33:30 KJV) Also, thou son of man, the children of thy people still are talking against thee by the walls and in the doors of the houses, and speak one to another, every one to his brother, saying, Come, I pray you, and hear what is the word that cometh forth from the LORD.

They (covetous men) will hear the revealed Word of God in this last day but they will not do the words. With the mouth they will show much love but their hearts will continue to go after their covetousness.

31 And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they show much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness.

To them (the covetous pastors), the revealed Word of God will be like a “lovely song”…..like an instrument that is played well. They will hear the words but not do them.

32 And, lo, thou art unto them as a very lovely song of one that hath a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument: for they hear thy words, but they do them not.
33 And when this cometh to pass, (lo, it will come,) then shall they know that a prophet hath been among them.

They will hear the words of the Son of man but NOT do them….and their houses of covetousness…houses of deceit…. shall fall….and great shall that fall be.

(Mat 7:26 KJV) And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

not only greedy gain for riches but for control of the people !

went to a church years ago that man was full of pride in the sense of controling every one who attended

so why do them preachers dwell in and on the flesh so much ? this teaching of Jesus goes right along with what Habakkuk 2 is also saying this is also to be drunken with pride ...
Luk 12:45But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken;
The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for [him]

Chickapee, indeed….pride is right there along with covetousness…..they seem to go hand-in-hand. Also "control" is definitely a trait. The "rich" pastors exercise their control over the church...instead of being ministers.



(Prov 22:7 KJV) The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.

It is inside the church that this "dominion" is occurring. The "princes of the Gentiles"= the rich pastors of the church.

(Mat 20:25 KJV) But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them.
26 But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;
27 And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:
28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.


The “wicked” boasts of his heart’s desire and blesses the covetous. The “wicked” = oppressing pastors of the flock of God.

(Psa 10:2 KJV) The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined.
3 For the wicked boasteth of his heart's desire, and blesseth the covetous, whom the LORD abhorreth.
4 The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.

Those pastors who follow after their hearts…the covetous in their hearts…are also full of pride of their accomplishments. You can identify them by their “fruits"....their pride, their covetousness, their controlling attitudes. They are living after the flesh and not after the Spirit. Their fruits are fruits of “death”…thorns and thistles….. and not fruits of the Spirit. All those who follow after them have gone down that path into “destruction”….into divisions, hatred, strife and envy. Yet, our Lord has paid for their sins….because they are sins of ignorance….ignorance of the Truth. Those who eat of those fruits of death are “asleep” and are to be awakened by the revealed Scripture of Truth. They are to be awakened in this last day to true righteousness.

(Rom 13:11 KJV) And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.

Those that have been “asleep” in the night are to awake in the revelation of the Truth…in the Day of salvation…and cast off those works of darkness…works of pride and covetousness…works of strife and envying. It is the “sleeping” church that is supposed to wake up in the dawning of His Truth.

12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.

Drunkenness = pride/covetousness = the “wine of Babylon.” It is living after the flesh and not after the Spirit.

13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.
14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

That is why we must “overcome”…we must overcome the flesh and its desires…we must overcome sin…we must live after the Spirit. Our Lord has given us the Spirit and we are to hear what it says....we are to overcome. We are to live after the Spirit and not after the flesh. We must “mortify” our members which are upon the earth….the fornication…the covetousness…the idolatry. This is all written to the church not to the outside world. It is the “sleeping church” that must cast away its works of darkness.

(Col 3:5 KJV) Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
6 For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:

It is the sleeping church that has walked in times past in covetousness and idolatry.

7 In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.
8 But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.

It is the old man fashioned in the old time religiousness of division, hatred, covetousness, pride, envy and strife that we are to put off and put on the new man….Christ Jesus. In other words, put to “death” the deeds of the flesh and live after the Spirit.

9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

Preaching the Word of God…or should I say wresting the Scriptures…in order to gain material church wealth is not living after the Spirit….it is living after the flesh. We are not under the law if we live after the Spirit.

It is fraud to preach what you think the Bible is saying in order to enrich one’s self….to preach out of the covetousness in our hearts is deceit. But those who do such things can repent and turn back to the Lord and be saved. The Lord will provide an opportunity for forgiveness for such things that are done in ignorance of the Truth. He comes to open up the Scriptures…to show us how we have missed the mark of what it says. He shows us our sins and tells us how to correct ourselves in order to live after the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus. When He does this, there will no longer be any excuse to continue pursuing religious wealth by taking advantage of the poor in Spirit. He comes to give us the knowledge of the revealed Truth so that we may repent and turn back to Him. He is just and merciful and forgiving. But if we continue in our covetousness…our sins willfully…after the receiving of the Truth, then there remains no more sacrifice for sins.

(Heb 10:26 KJV) For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

Those who will continue to live after the flesh…in
covetousness….hatred….pride…shall not inherit the kingdom of God. They will not be given the mysteries of the kingdom….they will not inherit His life and peace and love. There will be no rest for those who will continue on in their willful sins.

(1 Cor 6:9 KJV) Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

But those in the church who have done such things can turn back to Him and be saved….be washed and sanctified. Those who turn from the works of the flesh to living after the Spirit will not be condemned with this wicked generation that will continue in their own religious ways and thoughts.

11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

But, there will be those who will not hear the Truth and be saved…..they will continue in their covetousness ways….swallowing up the “needy” with their preaching of falsehoods.

(Amos 8:4 KJV) Hear this, O ye that swallow up the needy, even to make the poor of the land to fail,

The “new moon” and the “Sabbath” refer to the revealing of the Truth in this last day. It will be the Day of salvation for those that hear and do the Truth. But covetous pastors will not be excited about this…they want it to be over so that they may continue to do what they have always have done….preaching falsehoods in order to shortchange the spiritually poor and needy. They will want to continue building and planting their religious empires and be given in marriage to Jezebel….their teachings of covetousness.

5 Saying, When will the new moon be gone, that we may sell corn? and the sabbath, that we may set forth wheat, making the ephah small, and the shekel great, and falsifying the balances by deceit?
6 That we may buy the poor for silver, and the needy for a pair of shoes; yea, and sell the refuse of the wheat?
7 The LORD hath sworn by the excellency of Jacob, Surely I will never forget any of their works.
8 Shall not the land tremble for this, and every one mourn that dwelleth therein? and it shall rise up wholly as a flood; and it shall be cast out and drowned, as by the flood of Egypt.

The sun shall go down on these unrepentant, covetous pastors…..the earth shall darken for those who will not hear the Truth and be saved….just like it darkened for the Pharisees of yesterday.

9 And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord GOD, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the clear day:

Their “feasts” shall turn into mourning and their songs into lamentation. They will weep and mourn after Babylon as she burns….as no one will buy their falsehoods any longer.

10 And I will turn your feasts into mourning, and all your songs into lamentation; and I will bring up sackcloth upon all loins, and baldness upon every head; and I will make it as the mourning of an only son, and the end thereof as a bitter day.

Babylon will come to an end….she has dwelt upon many “waters”….many people. She has enriched many pastors in their covetousness. They have been “drunk” with her wine of covetousness. They have lived in pride. They have abundance in her treasures…..but her end is coming. Her covetousness shall reach its height…the full measure…and there will be a great fall.

(Jer 51:12 KJV) Set up the standard upon the walls of Babylon, make the watch strong, set up the watchmen, prepare the ambushes: for the LORD hath both devised and done that which he spake against the inhabitants of Babylon.
13 O thou that dwellest upon many waters, abundant in treasures, thine end is come, and the measure of thy covetousness.
14 The LORD of hosts hath sworn by himself, saying, Surely I will fill thee with men, as with caterpillars; and they shall lift up a shout against thee.

The “kings of the earth”…..the unrepentant, covetous pastors…shall mourn for her. They had been enriched with the confusion over the Scriptures. Where there is confusion, there is every evil, covetous work. The revealed Truth shall set the spiritually poor and needy free from their houses of deceit. The revealed Truth will burn away all their deceitful preaching….it will expose all their falsehoods to those who hear what the Spirit says.

(Rev 18:9 KJV) And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,

Religious man will be given the opportunity to hear the revealed Truth….to know what his sins are …..to be able to repent and confess his sins…to turn back to God who is full of mercy and forgiveness. It is the opening up of the Scriptures to our understanding that gives us His knowledge. This knowledge has been concealed throughout the generations of man. The Christian church has only known the will of God in part….but the Lord comes within the voice of the archangel….He announces His presence through the revealing of the Word of Truth. But there will be “scoffers” within the church who will continue walking after their own lusts….coveting after the things of this world. They will, in their pride, continue to build their religious empires and accumulating its riches in the face of the revealing of the Son of man.

(2 Pet 3:2 KJV) That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:
3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

They will be saying “where is the announcement of His presence….”

4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

It is by the revealed Word of God. God revealed His Word to Noah who was obedient to the Truth. Noah is a preacher of righteousness…of the revealed Word of God….he preached to a wicked generation in his own time and Noah continues to preach through his witness of God’s judgment today.

5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:

By that same Word is this current heaven and earth reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. The ungodly in the church will not hear the Truth today and be saved from the coming wrath. God will open up the Word of Truth for our understanding so that we may be saved from His coming wrath upon all disobedience. We are to humbly accept His Word.

7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

They will not humble themselves at the revealed Word of Truth….just as Noah’s generation did not. As Jesus said, all those that will exalt them selves will be abased. Religious men will exalt themselves in their religious pride at the revealing of the Truth. They will “scoff” and despise His government.

(Mat 23:12 KJV) And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.

The pride of religious men…in the face of the revealing of the Truth….will bring their destruction. A haughty spirit will come before their great fall.

(Prov 16:18 KJV) Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.

It is better to humbly accept the revealed Truth then to continue gathering the unjust gain from the spiritually poor and needy.

19 Better it is to be of an humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud.

When their pride comes, then comes their shame. Their shame will be exposed for all to see. It is better to humbly accept His Truth…His wisdom…when He reveals it to us.

(Prov 11:2 KJV) When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.
3 The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them.

For riches shall not profit in the Day of wrath….the religious riches that men have worked for….their wonderful works…will not save them in the end.

4 Riches profit not in the day of wrath: but righteousness delivereth from death.

The pride of the scoffers in this last day will bring them low.

(Prov 29:23 KJV) A man's pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit.

Only the Lord will be exalted in that Day. Man’s religious ways and thoughts will have no place for them to stand. The pride of religious men will be humbled.

(Isa 2:11 KJV) The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.

For the Day of the Lord will be upon every one that is proud and lofty….who exalts himself against His revealed Word.

12 For the day of the LORD of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low:

Remember king Nebuchadnezzar:
(Dan 4:30 KJV) The king spake, and said, Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honour of my majesty?
31 While the word was in the king's mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, saying, O king Nebuchadnezzar, to thee it is spoken; The kingdom is departed from thee.

Remember his son, Belshazzar. Those who will continue drinking the wine of Babylon will be found wanting.

(Dan 5:2 KJV) Belshazzar, whiles he tasted the wine, commanded to bring the golden and silver vessels which his father Nebuchadnezzar had taken out of the temple which was in Jerusalem; that the king, and his princes, his wives, and his concubines, might drink therein.
3 Then they brought the golden vessels that were taken out of the temple of the house of God which was at Jerusalem; and the king, and his princes, his wives, and his concubines, drank in them.

Prideful religious men will continue to drink her wine ….and praising the work of their own hands…their gods of gold, silver, brass, iron, wood and stone. They will continue to preach their own doctrines and commandments of men out of the covetousness of their hearts. They will praise their “wonderful works”…their great accomplishments…their great ministries…their majestic church buildings….their wonderful books that they have written….their religious merchandise….etc, etc, etc. All of it the work of their own hands….although they claim it to be done in His name.

4 They drank wine, and praised the gods of gold, and of silver, of brass, of iron, of wood, and of stone.
5 In the same hour came forth fingers of a man's hand, and wrote over against the candlestick upon the plaster of the wall of the king's palace: and the king saw the part of the hand that wrote.
6 Then the king's countenance was changed, and his thoughts troubled him, so that the joints of his loins were loosed, and his knees smote one against another.

Man must humble himself at the revealing of the Scripture of Truth…..he cannot continue drinking the wine of Babylon….being drunk in covetousness and pride….and expect to be saved from the wrath of God. But there will be those religious leaders in the church who will not hear and believe…they will not receive the LOVE of the Truth and be saved. Instead, they will rise up in their pride and oppose and contradict the revealed Truth. Their pride will be the pride of Babylon. Babylon will consider herself safe and secure just before sudden destruction.

(Isa 47:8 KJV) Therefore hear now this, thou that art given to pleasures, that dwellest carelessly, that sayest in thine heart, I am, and none else beside me; I shall not sit as a widow, neither shall I know the loss of children:
9 But these two things shall come to thee in a moment in one day, the loss of children, and widowhood: they shall come upon thee in their perfection for the multitude of thy sorceries, and for the great abundance of thine enchantments.

Religious men will trust in their own wisdom and knowledge…in their own wickedness….instead of denying them for His wisdom and knowledge. They will say “I am, and none else beside me”…..they will proclaim that they are the only source of the Truth in the face of the revelation of the Truth from heaven.

10 For thou hast trusted in thy wickedness: thou hast said, None seeth me. Thy wisdom and thy knowledge, it hath perverted thee; and thou hast said in thine heart, I am, and none else beside me.

There will be sudden destruction….desolation.

11 Therefore shall evil come upon thee; thou shalt not know from whence it riseth: and mischief shall fall upon thee; thou shalt not be able to put it off: and desolation shall come upon thee suddenly, which thou shalt not know.

Again…this is echoed in Revelation…..Babylon says in her heart that she sits as a queen…..reveling in her “peace and safety” preaching of her subjects.

(Rev 18:7 KJV) How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.
8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.

There will be religious men in the churches who will rise up in their pride against the revealing of the Truth….they will be collectively known as the “man of sin.” The Truth will reveal what is in their hearts. They will exalt themselves and oppose the Truth. The revealed Truth will threaten their religious empires…their wealth…and they won’t have any of it. They will say “I am…and there is no other.” Babylon sits as a queen....and her people will sit in the temple of God showing themselves as God...proclaiming they have the Truth...their ways and thoughts are the Way of righteousness, etc.

(2 Th 2:3 KJV) Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

They will be preaching “peace and safety”…..they will hear the revealed Truth and yet console themselves…..that they will have peace to continue walking in their covetousness….that no bad thing will come upon them….no wrath of God will lay upon them.

(1 Th 5:3 KJV) For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

Those that will say “I shall have peace…..though I walk in the imagination of my heart and add drunkenness to thirst….”

(Deu 29:19 KJV) And it come to pass, when he heareth the words of this curse, that he bless himself in his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of mine heart, to add drunkenness to thirst:

….will experience the wrath of God in this last day.

20 The LORD will not spare him, but then the anger of the LORD and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and the LORD shall blot out his name from under heaven.
21 And the LORD shall separate him unto evil out of all the tribes of Israel, according to all the curses of the covenant that are written in this book of the law:
22 So that the generation to come of your children that shall rise up after you, and the stranger that shall come from a far land, shall say, when they see the plagues of that land, and the sicknesses which the LORD hath laid upon it;

23 And that the whole land thereof is brimstone, and salt, and burning, that it is not sown, nor beareth, nor any grass groweth therein, like the overthrow of Sodom, and Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboim, which the LORD overthrew in his anger, and in his wrath:
24 Even all nations shall say, Wherefore hath the LORD done thus unto this land? what meaneth the heat of this great anger?
25 Then men shall say, Because they have forsaken the covenant of the LORD God of their fathers, which he made with them when he brought them forth out of the land of Egypt:
26 For they went and served other gods, and worshipped them, gods whom they knew not, and whom he had not given unto them:
27 And the anger of the LORD was kindled against this land, to bring upon it all the curses that are written in this book:
28 And the LORD rooted them out of their land in anger, and in wrath, and in great indignation, and cast them into another land, as it is this day.

His revealed Truth will belong to us…..His revealed Scripture of Truth will cause us to understand His will and DO it.

29 The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.

But the Lord is patient…not willing that any perish…but that all should come to repentance and these things are written to the church.

(2 Pet 3:9 KJV) The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

The Lord chastens and rebukes those who He loves…so that they may produce fruits of righteousness.

(Heb 12:5 KJV) And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:
6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?

H will sit as a “refiner and a purifier of silver”….as He chastens and scourges those who are bogged down in their covetousness…in their deceit. He is patient…not willing that anyone perish. Religious man must turn from those fruits of death to His righteousness.

(Mal 3:3 KJV) And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.
4 Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the LORD, as in the days of old, and as in former years.

We are to fear Him…be in awe of His revealed Truth….have reverence for His Word of Truth.

5 And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts.
6 For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.


Our church fathers went astray...and so the children (us) have followed after their vain traditions...commandments and doctrines of men. The children have inherited the sins of the church fathers.



7 Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?

Indeed, God will reveal (take the cover off) His Truth. His Truth has been hidden by Him within the Scriptures….hidden behind literal words…literal stories of the Bible…that are to be “transformed” into His spiritual message for us especially for today. It is His interpretation of His Word that He gives us …as He reveals from heaven by His Spirit of Truth. The “secret things” of the Lord shall be revealed to us…so that we may do His will. He has concealed these things in order to display His glory in the appointed time. His Truth saves us…saves us from our sins….from ungodly, covetous pastors…. from darkness….from the wrath to come.

(Deu 29:29 KJV) The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.

It is the glory of God to conceal a thing. He conceals His knowledge within the Scriptures….and it is an honor to search out His knowledge in the Bible. It is the honor of kings to search out His matter.

(Prov 25:2 KJV) It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.

We are to share these things that are sought out….share the true treasures of His revealed Word. We are to give thanks for His knowledge….we are to make known His deeds among the people. In other words, to reveal the hidden matters of the Scriptures to others.

(Psa 105:1 KJV) O give thanks unto the LORD; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.

We are to talk of His wondrous works….to preach the revealed Scripture of Truth.

2 Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works.
3 Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.

When we search out the hidden things of the Scriptures, we are seeking Him…we are seeking His face…His knowledge.

4 Seek the LORD, and his strength: seek his face evermore.

How do we remember His marvelous works that He has done?

5 Remember his marvellous works that he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;

We “remember”….being mindful….of the words that were spoken by the holy prophets and the apostles. There are hidden meanings behind their words……His knowledge is hidden and we are to study their words with all intensity. We are to seek His face by remembering….searching out…. the words of Moses, the prophets and the apostles. They will reveal His hidden knowledge….to show His wondrous works and judgments…that were done yesterday and are to be done TODAY.

(2 Pet 3:1 KJV) This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:
2 That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:
3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

When He will reveal His Truth to us, there will be those who will be WILLINGLY ignorant of His revealed Word.

5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of Godthe heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:

We are to believe…have faith…in His revelation of the Truth in this last Day. Our faith shall be perfected by the revealing of His Truth.

(Rom 1:17 KJV) For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

But those who are WILLINGLY ignorant of His revealed Word of Truth, will hold….suppress….the Truth in unrighteousness. They will continue on in their covetous, proud hearts and will seek to keep others from His Truth.

18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

God will manifest His Truth in them…He will show it to them….and they will be without excuse for their willful sins. Their sins will no longer be done in ignorance of the Truth.

19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath showed it unto them.

God is our savior….He saves by the revealing of His Scripture of Truth that displays His glory. He has planned everything…what seemed like chaos in the church was all planned in advance through Him….and He reveals this knowledge in the Scriptures. He takes the cover off of the Scriptures to show His knowledge…and we are to believe in His knowledge of the Truth and be saved. He will have all men be saved and come to the “knowledge”….Greek word “epignosis”….of the Truth. “Epignosis” means “FULL discernment, full recognition, full knowledge”…..as contrasted with only knowing of something in part.

(1 Tim 2:4 KJV) Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

But some men in our churches will not come to the “knowledge” (epignosis = full knowledge) of the Truth. They will hold down….suppress…the full knowledge of the Truth in their unrighteousness. They will be lovers of pleasure more than God. They shall be proud and covetous against the Truth….we are to turn away from these people….not go to a “church” where there is this rebellion.

(2 Tim 3:4 KJV) Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

They shall keep others also from the Truth with their deceptive preaching…and those people who want to be WILLINGLY ignorant (“captive, silly women= the willingly ignorant who want to continue on in their lusts for things)of the full knowledge of God will be led away by a lie.

6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

They will be “ever learning” and yet will never be able to come to the “epignosis”….the full knowledge of the Truth. Their own love for their unrighteousness will prevent them from entering in.

7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

They will resist the revealed Truth…..reprobate….rejected concerning the faith in the Truth.

8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.

They will be the “man of sin” collectively….because of their love for unrighteousness will hold down the knowledge of the Truth. They will be revealed for who they are….their folly shall be manifest unto ALL men.

9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.

These men and their followers will be given over to a rejected mind…..one to be filled with unrighteousness…because they will not have received the love of the revealed Truth and be saved from their sins. They will not retain God in their “knowledge”…epignosis.



(Rom 1:28 KJV) And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

And so they will be left “outside” in the darkness….because they will not receive the love of the Truth and be saved. Like the men of Sodom, the “door” will be shut and will be smitten with “blindness”…..they will believe a lie instead of the Truth.

(Gen 19:10 KJV) But the men put forth their hand, and pulled Lot into the house to them, and shut to the door.

They will be "ever learning" but will never able to come to the Truth….to enter through the “door”….because of their unrighteousness….because of their resisting of the Truth….because of their corrupt minds.

11 And they smote the men that were at the door of the house with blindness, both small and great: so that they wearied themselves to find the door.

These men will be stricken with “blindness” just like the men of Sodom….because they will not have received the love of the revealed Truth and be saved. Their own unrighteousness shall deceive them. They will never be able to come to the full knowledge of the Truth….ever learning but not being able to go through the “door.”

(2 Th 2:9 KJV) Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:

For “outside” will be those who will continue on in their corrupt church ways and thoughts…they will love their divisions, commandments and doctrines of men, their deceptive preaching for unjust gain, their hatred for others, their covetousness, etc….MORE than the revealed knowledge of the Truth in the coming appointed time. They will be lovers of pleasure more than of God….and His matters that are to be revealed.

(Rev 22:14 KJV) Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
