  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Amen to what you have said Wheeler ,,,
none are righteous no not one ! Gods plan for salvation is just awesome !
we need Him ! we are all poor in spirit and sickly and MUST realize our need for Him Rom 3:10As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

after reading all of Romans 3 , the fear of God is a reality ,,,

we can tHANK GOD for His mercy in sending Jesus Christ and His witness to make clear our great need for praise to God and thankful heart for His grace on us all ..
to be humbled and trust Gods will as a perfect work in us this faith given is the Lords , and His righteousness and judgments are fair / justified upon us all ..

Chickapee, sorry for not getting to your post fully this morning....I went off on a tangent and then ran out of time.

Chickapee wrote:

I am seeing something I never saw before . hoping to expain it in simplicity

when the prophecy come to pass , it was the Lord Himself who told them high priests that when they broke the covenant in Jerusalem / the vision of peace or the teaching of peace Jerusalem = "set ye double peace" Mat 23:37O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, [thou] that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under [her] wings, and ye would not!
they saw Jesus as a threat to their power and God choosing them over all nations
this in turn lead to their demise , when they set their hearts to kill Jesus , this lead to the division and end of their reign .. that the gentiles would indeed come and destroy them ! fulfilling the prophecy of the old testament ..

Jhn 11:52 And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad. Then from that day forth they took counsel together for to put him to death.
this would be the ushering in of the new covenant , that the Lord would have mercy on all who would come to the marriage supper of the Lamb ... that prophecy / Word spoken by Jesus Himself .Mat 22:4Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and [my] fatlings [are] killed, and all things [are] ready: come unto the marriage.:9Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.. Rev 19:10And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See [thou do it] not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
Indeed, Jesus let them know that the covenant was broken.

(Mat 21:42 KJV) Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?
43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.
44 And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.
45 And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceived that he spake of them.
46 But when they sought to lay hands on him, they feared the multitude, because they took him for a prophet.

The repeating of "Jerusalem, Jerusalem..." by Jesus when addressing them kind of reminds me of the "peace, peace" verse.

(Jer 6:14 KJV) They have healed also the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.

Only there was no peace as they killed the prophets and stoned those that were sent to them. They did not listen to the prophets' words....silencing the witness of Moses and all of the prophets of the Bible.

(Luke 13:34 KJV) O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not!
35 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

The key of knowledge was taken away by the “lawyers” of 2000 years ago….they had an opportunity to understand the Scriptures when Jesus had visited them with the Truth and knowledge of God. But they would not hear….they did not hear Jesus’ words nor Moses or all of the prophets of the Scriptures. They had “killed” their testimony so to speak. Their witness of the Truth had been silenced by the religious leaders of yesterday. All of the blood of the prophets which was shed would be required of them.

(Luke 11:49 KJV) Therefore also said the wisdom of God, I will send them prophets and apostles, and some of them they shall slay and persecute:
50 That the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation;
51 From the blood of Abel unto the blood of Zacharias, which perished between the altar and the temple: verily I say unto you, It shall be required of this generation.
52 Woe unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered.

The religious elite “dwelled on the earth”…..they clung onto their earthly ways and thoughts…their own earthly wisdom….instead of embracing the heavenly wisdom of God. They, in a sense, “killed” the prophets’ testimony….their biblical witness of the Word of God.

(Rev 6:10 KJV) And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

The “white robes” represent the revealed Truth that would cover the prophets’ words in the last Day at the appointed time. Jesus would come as promised…the revealed Truth should be made manifest through the words of the witnesses of the Scriptures in due season. Those “fellowservants” ….their brothers….who also would be “killed” are the apostles.

11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

The gentile church has lived as “kings”….kings of the earth. It also has reigned over the Scriptures in the earthly wisdom of man. The fellowservants that would be “killed” also were the apostles’ words. Their words would also be wrested by literal-minded men of the church.

(1 Cor 4:8 KJV) Now ye are full, now ye are rich, ye have reigned as kings without us: and I would to God ye did reign, that we also might reign with you.
9 For I think that God hath set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to death: for we are made a spectacle unto the world, and to angels, and to men.

Their words would be left destitute of the Truth by the wresting of them by earthly-minded men who only seek after earthly things. The apostles have also suffered for Christ….for the glory of God to be revealed in them.

10 We are fools for Christ's sake, but ye are wise in Christ; we are weak, but ye are strong; ye are honourable, but we are despised.
11 Even unto this present hour we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no certain dwellingplace;

Those that “dwell on the face of the earth” are the literal-minded men who keep the Scriptures in the plain, earthly wisdom….the surface wisdom of earthly men. But the Lord comes to reveal the hidden Truth of the Scriptures in this last Day.

(Luke 21:33 KJV) Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

Those that will continue to pursue their earthly desires in the earthly wisdom of men shall be caught unawares.

34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.

For it shall come as a snare on them that “dwell on the face of the whole earth”….on those who will not receive the love of the revealed Truth and be saved….they will instead cling on to their literal meanings of the Bible and pursue the things of the earth in their earthly-mindedness.

35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
37 And in the day time he was teaching in the temple; and at night he went out, and abode in the mount that is called the mount of Olives.

The Lord will preach the revealed Truth of the Scriptures early “in the morning”…the spiritual morning of the last Day. Those who love their own unrighteousness will continue to “sleep” on in their covetousness….in their religious wonderful works.

38 And all the people came early in the morning to him in the temple, for to hear him.

God had made man to “dwell on all the face of the earth”…..to know only the surface understanding of the Scriptures. But, He will call all men to repentance in the appointed time. We are to seek His face in the heavenly Scripture of Truth.

(Acts 17:26 KJV) And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;
27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:

Man’s understanding of the Scriptures is of the “earth”….man literalizes them and truly does not understand them. But the “everlasting gospel” shall be preached for all to hear. It shall be preached to those who “dwell on the earth”…those that literalize the Bible in their earthly wisdom. Those that will hear and love the revealed Truth shall be saved. We are to worship Him in Spirit and Truth….not by man’s earthly understanding and his earthly, religious works…which are works of darkness. Man’s earthly works are works of not understanding the Scriptures in the Spirit of Truth.

(Rev 14:6 KJV) And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,
7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

It is through the Spirit of Truth that God shall renew the “face of the earth.” The literal understanding of the Scriptures shall be transfigured into the heavenly knowledge of God. The cloud of witnesses shall preach in their heavenly understanding. The glory of the Lord shall shine forth through the words of Moses and all of the prophets and all of the apostles. And all of those who hear and receive the love of the revealed Truth shall have their inheritance with the saints in the Light of Christ Jesus…who is the knowledge of God.

(Psa 104:30 KJV) Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created: and thou renewest the face of the earth.
31 The glory of the LORD shall endure for ever: the LORD shall rejoice in his works.

from the eyes of understanding and Knowledge of Jesus peace though Salvation by faith in Christ !

Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

these that reject Jesus /Word would have heart troubles and live in fear of death all the days of their life , and toil by the works of their own hands because they gid NOT LOVE the truth / Jesus Christ

they would still be in darkness and stumble and gnash their teeth
because they loved darkness more than the Light , because their deeds are evil ... Jhn 3:19And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

Jhn 11:9Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world.

But if a man walk in the night,

he stumbleth, because there is no light in him

The Word was made “flesh” and dwelt among us. Jesus dwelt among the people 2000 years ago in an earthly body…and the Scriptures were made “flesh” as well…. in the earthly understanding of the mind of man….for the last 2000 years. Mankind has only read the Scriptures mostly with his “earthly” eyes….his own earthly understanding of what he reads on the “surface” of the words. He has not grasped the “deep things” of God that are hidden by the literalness of the Bible. But His glory shall shine forth by the transfiguring of the Scriptures….the writings of Moses and all of the prophets (think of Elijah with Moses at the transfiguration)….and all of the apostles shall be full of Truth and His mercy for us.

(John 1:14 KJV) And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

The Scriptures have borne the image of the “earthy”….being read and understood only superficially by man’s earthly wisdom. Man has made his religion by that error-filled understanding….the earthy image. But the Scriptures shall be “changed”….changed from the understanding and preaching of earthly-minded men to the knowledge and wisdom of God in the Spirit of Truth. The Scriptures shall also bear the image of the heavenly wisdom that is hidden by the earthly understanding of man.

(1 Cor 15:49 KJV) And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

Man's earthly teaching of the Bible (the flesh and blood) cannot inherit the kingdom of God. Man's earthly wisdom is completely incompatible with the spiritual wisdom of God. That is why religious man must "deny" himself....his own earthly thoughts of what the Scriptures have been saying.

50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

No man can understand fully the Word of God with his heart of earth. The heart of man cannot understand these things…..but only through His Spirit of Truth can we know the “deep things of God.”

(1 Cor 2:9 KJV) But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

Man has only read and understood the Bible with his earthly wisdom…..seeing only the literal, outward letter of the Word as though that was the revealed Truth.

11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

But the Spirit of God reveals His Scripture of Truth to our hearts so that we may know Him fully. We shall know His will and His plans for mankind. We shall wake up from the “dust” of our own earthly thoughts and ways and be made alive in His Spirit of Truth....in His spiritual understanding...His knowledge.

12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

The Word of God is spoken not with man’s wisdom…..the “earthly” understanding of the outward letter but by what the Spirit teaches…..comparing spiritual things with spiritual. Hint: the Scriptures are not understood by literalizing them and keeping them in their historical context. They shall be “changed” from the corruptible wisdom of man into the wisdom of God…..by the revelation of Christ Jesus…who is THE Truth.

13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

But there will be those “natural” men who will stubbornly cling on to their literal understanding in the face of the revealed Truth.

14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

(Deu 29:29 KJV) The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.

Man understands the “signs” with his earthly wisdom. He see the events of 2000 years ago as the beginning and ending of the prophecies….he keeps them in history. As Jesus was in the earth 3 days and nights, so also has the Scriptures (the Son of man) been in the “heart of the earth” for 3 days and nights. This didn’t just end 2000 years ago in 3 literal days. The Scriptures have been in the heart of man (the earth)…. in his earthly understanding of them. The 3 days and nights speaks of the forgiveness for these things. Man has been forgiven for his misses of the Truth…..his wresting of the Scriptures by his earthy mind.

(Mat 12:40 KJV) For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

An evil and adulterous generation seeks….searches…after a sign. Man wants the literal recorded events to be the end all. His wisdom is attached firmly to the “sign” earthly understanding of the Scriptures. All of man's works are done with a literal, superficial understanding of the Bible....man's works of darkness. The are darkness because they are done without the Light of understanding.

(Mat 12:39 KJV) But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:

But the “signs” shall speak in a greater Truth….in the mouth of Christ Jesus. He is the greater Truth….He shall speak through the words of the prophets and apostles. Their words shall be made incorruptible in the mind of Christ….transformed from the earthly understanding (the corruptible) into the heavenly understanding (the incorruptible.) The “greater” is the revealed Truth of God……the revealed Truth of the Scriptures. Christ Jesus is that Truth. His interpretation of the Bible is greater than what man superficially reads and keeps historical.

41 The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here.
42 The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.

(Acts 17:26 KJV) And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;

31 The glory of the LORD shall endure for ever: the LORD shall rejoice in his works.

amen ! made me think of Adam 120 when God formed him out of the ground / face of the earthly image mankind from 119
'adam
1) to be red, red

Gen 1:26And God said, Let us make man/adam 120 in our image, after our likeness:

and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air,

and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
So God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him;
male and female created he them.

the differences between Gen Chapter 1 and 2 when man/ adam 120 is made

and formed by the Lord God is nothing short of amazing !

Gen 2:7And the LORD God formed man120 [of] the dust of the ground,

and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man120 became a living soul.
created than formed Adam / mankind in his image first as being Spiritual and also

out of the dust of the ground breathed into his nostrils / 639 H 'aph 1 ) being face, nose 2) anger !!

to become a living soul when seeing it as man/adam 120 being 119

adam red and the blast of breath this nostrils as face and anger ,

it made me think of the scriptures the wrath of man does NOT WORK the righteousness of God

And so it seems the Spirit and soul is now in a earthly body form ,

these 3 distinct works of God as purposed giving adam / man dominion over the earth
God named Adam , when the Lord God brought them unto Adam ,

Adam was given the rule / dominion to name all the creatures God made

Gen 2:19And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field,

and every fowl of the air; and brought [them] unto Adam120

to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam120 called every living creature,

that [was] the name thereof.

so we can see the Lord God allowing earthly wisdom to rule/ dominion in Adam by the naming of Gods creatures

out of the earth

dust that adam / mankind is formed out of also , and becomes the curse of God for the serpents food

Gen 3:14And the LORD God said unto the serpent,

Because thou hast done this,

thou [art] cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field;

upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life

dust
`aphar Strong's H6083
1) dry earth, dust, powder, ashes, earth, ground, mortar, rubbish

this has always amazed me
many things in Gen 1 and 2 do !
compared to the heavenly name Jesus Christ , its just beautiful the
contrast here Eph 3:14For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named

That he would grant you,

according to the riches of his glory,

to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith;

that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

May be able to comprehend with all saints

what [is] the breadth, and length, and depth,

and heightAnd to know the love of Christ,

which passeth knowledge,

that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

these things are excellent to ponder on :)

thanks and blessings C ...

42 The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.

this is great Wheeler ! wow ! I love this,,,

And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

Thank you Chickapee for associating Genesis 2:7 in this. It is definitely relevant. Let us take a closer look at this verse….it speaks volumes!

(Gen 2:7 KJV) And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

The Lord God “formed” man (of) the dust of the ground. The Hebrew word for “formed” means to “squeeze or press into shape. It figuratively means “to distress, to vex.” With man’s earthly wisdom (the dust of the ground) of the Bible come divisions, envy, strife and hatred. This is why there are so many divisions in the church….so many denominations….so much distress. The hatred of each other is the “violence” that is practiced among many Christians who fight over their erroneous doctrinal differences….which is of the “dust of the ground.” In this current religious “world,” we have “tribulation”…distress. But we are to have faith in God for His Truth to be revealed which will unite us in one Spirit…the true Life.

(John 16:33 KJV) These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

It has all been according to the Lord’s plan….to see the “darkness”….the adversity and affliction…. so that we can recognize the true Light….Christ Jesus who is the Light that shines in the darkness. He is our teacher who will speak to us in the spiritual Truth….not in the wisdom of man (the dust of the earth.)

(Isa 30:20 KJV) And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers:

Christ Jesus is that Word of Truth that we will hear…..that will show us the Way into His righteousness.

21 And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.

The Lord God will “breathe” into the nostrils of earthy-minded men (those who literalize the Bible…who are distressed in the “dust” of the ground.) The “nostrils” speak of the “anger” that is so visible among the churches. The Lord God will extinguish the anger of man with His Spirit…..with His Word of Truth….the Spirit of Truth. The “breath of Life” is Christ Jesus who is that Word of Truth….who is that life-giving Spirit to those who are bogged down in their distress and hatred which is caused by relying on their own earthly wisdom of the Bible. Religious man shall become “alive”….by His knowledge of the Truth….in Christ Jesus. He shall then love one another in the Spirit of Truth.

(Gen 2:7 KJV) And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

The “wrath of man” does not work the righteousness of God. What we see in most of the churches is not of the righteousness of God but are the works of darkness….the works of men whose knowledge is only of the “dust”….of the earthly understanding of the literalness of the Bible.

(James 1:17 KJV) Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

It is His Word of Truth that is the perfect gift from above….that will save us from all the sins of earthly-minded religious men who fight over their literal interpretations of the Bible.

18 Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:
20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.
21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

When we are to be born of this revealed heavenly wisdom, then we as Christians are to put off all the things of the “dust of the earth”….the anger, the wrath, etc. Many Christians have walked in these very things…but the time is coming for them to hear the Word of Truth and be saved. The time is coming for religious man to put off the earthly man of religion and put on the new man which is RENEWED in the knowledge of God….Christ Jesus. God will renew the “earth” with His Spirit.

(Col 3:7 KJV) In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.
8 But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.
9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

With His Spirit we are to put away all of the bitterness and wrath and anger that have bogged down the churches which are brought on by the earthly, literal understanding of the Scriptures. Man has relied on his own wisdom and understanding….which is in error. Christ Jesus is the Truth that will show us how we have all missed the mark of what the Scriptures are truly saying.

(Eph 4:30 KJV) And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:

We are to forgive one another for the bitterness that has been shown to each other as the churches have fought over whose interpretation of the Bible is correct….judging each other over wrongful understanding….hating one another. All have been equally wrong.

32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

Christ Jesus…the Word of Truth…is that life-giving Spirit that the Lord God will breathe into His church…so that we may truly be “alive.”

(1 Cor 15:45 KJV) And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

We are to put off the “old man” of religion whose earthly understanding of the Bible causes its followers to fight and hate one another….the distress…being formed of the “dust of the ground.” The “natural” was first and afterward that which is spiritual.

46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.

When the Lord will breathe His life-giving Spirit into us (Christ Jesus,) then we are to put on this “new man”….the heavenly man who is made in the image of God. Christ Jesus is that express image of God.

47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.
48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.

Christ Jesus is that Word of Truth….and whoever will believe His Word shall have everlasting life and not be judged by our past, erroneous actions of bitterness and hatred in the churches. We shall be made “alive”….passing from the “death”…the hatred of one another…into true Life.

(John 5:24 KJV) Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

The “dead”…those who are bogged down in their hatred and strife in the churches…shall hear His voice and shall live. Those that will hear and obey the Truth shall be saved. Christ Jesus is that revealed Truth….whose voice is “heard” through the transfiguring of the Scriptures into the knowledge of His Light.

25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.
26 For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;
27 And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.
28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

The Truth….Christ Jesus…shall set us free. Free from man’s earthly knowledge….man’s doctrines of bondage….man’s hatred and divisions…man’s envy and strife. We shall be made a living man in the knowledge of God…we shall pass from “death”….the hating of one another in the churches….into Life…by the love and forgiving one another for past sins which were done in the ignorance of what the Scriptures are truly saying.

(1 John 3:14 KJV) We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.

Many people of the churches have been “asleep” in the “dust of the earth”….they have been bogged down in their hatred, divisions and strife brought on by the earthly wisdom of “religious” men. But many shall “awake” with His Word of Truth being taught…hearing His voice in it….some will do the Truth and be saved. Others will hear but not receive the love of the revealed Truth and pass from death into life. Instead, they will rise up in their earthly pride and oppose the Truth. They will hate the Truth and will not humble themselves.

(Dan 12:2 KJV) And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

The words have been “shut up”…but the knowledge of God will increase….the Light of the knowledge of God….Christ Jesus.

4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

The wrath of religious man will be extinguished in the revealing of the Truth…..in the cool, refreshing water of Life. The "water of affliction" shall be no more to those who hear.

(Rev 22:17 KJV) And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

The “times of refreshing” is coming from the presence of the Lord…..the revealed Word of Truth. “Refreshing” = “recovery of breath.”

(Acts 3:19 KJV) Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

Jesus Christ is that life-giving Spirit who will make the old religious, full of strife man a living, new man….a man perfected in love and peace. He is coming to revive us. Jesus Christ is the anointing of the Spirit of Truth…the complete knowledge and wisdom of God. He is sent to awaken us to the knowledge of God...the times of the restitution of all things.

20 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:
21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

Jesus’ “new commandment” is the “new covenant” we are to keep…..to love one another as he has loved us. This is the true, spiritual meaning of the “Lord’s supper”…..to love one another. We are supposed to do this in remembrance of Him…… to remember His love for us.

(John 13:34 KJV) A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

Those that have faithfully kept His covenant have entered through the narrow Way which leads to true Life……because they love each other. They are led by the Spirit and have fruits of the Spirit….love, peace, joy, contentment.

(Mat 7:12 KJV) Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

But MANY have entered through the wide gate that leads to destruction……to envy, strife, divisions, hatred, wrath, etc. They have not been led by the Spirit but by the fleshly mind seeking after the things of this world through covetousness. They pursue their grand religious works in the covetousness for the bigger and better things…the vain glory of men. Many have fallen “asleep” and need to be “awakened” by the revealing of the Scripture of Truth.

13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

Only the “few”….the “little flock”….has followed Him…hearing His voice only that says to love one another.

14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

The “false prophets”….the pastors, reverends, priests, PhD’s…..have led many astray after the things they covet after. They have led the “many” away from true righteousness in God. They have robbed many from the things of the Spirit. They have made many “poor in Spirit”…..the many do not have love for one another….they do not have joy and peace. The “many” have been led down the wide path to ruin…..they are a troubled people.

15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

The false prophets preach the outward appearance of the Scriptures. They preach what they understand on the surface….they only see the literal language of the Bible and preach deception…they have led many astray…..they are the true “sorcerers.” What they understand with their earthly mind is the “dust.” The literalizing of the Scriptures is the “dust” of man’s understanding….man’s earthly wisdom of the Bible. The “many” that have been led astray by earthly-minded men have fallen “asleep” in the “dust of the earth” and are to be “awakened” by the spiritual Truth of the Bible.

(Dan 12:2 KJV) And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

The many who have been led astray by false preachers have been given the “bread of adversity” and the “water of affliction.”

(Isa 30:20 KJV) And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers:

The “many” pastors have led many down that path to ruin….they have destroyed His vineyard by their preaching of falsehoods. They have made it desolate. They have cast the Truth to the ground and trampled it.

(Jer 12:10 KJV) Many pastors have destroyed my vineyard, they have trodden my portion under foot, they have made my pleasant portion a desolate wilderness.
11 They have made it desolate, and being desolate it mourneth unto me; the whole land is made desolate, because no man layeth it to heart.

It is the pastors…the false prophets…who have destroyed and scatter the sheep of His pasture. They do not preach Truth but falsehoods out of the covetousness that is in their hearts.

(Jer 23:1 KJV) Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD.
2 Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the LORD.

But the Lord will set up true shepherds….preachers of the Truth….in Christ Jesus who is that revealed Truth. The true pastors will feed the sheep of the Lord.

4 And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith the LORD.

The Lord will give us true pastors according to His heart…..like David. They shall feed us with His knowledge and understanding as opposed to the wisdom of man. They shall preach the Scripture of Truth and not the literal wisdom of the Bible as preached by many pastors.

(Jer 3:15 KJV) And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.

The true pastors are the “angels”….the “messengers” of the Truth. The revealed Scripture of Truth is that “great sound of a trumpet.” This is NOT LITERAL. There will be no literal sounding of a trumpet…..nor literal ethereal beings descending from the literal sky. These “angels” will be preachers of the Truth….and it is the revealed Truth that shall gather those who will hear and love the Truth. They shall be gathered from the “four winds.”

(Mat 24:31 KJV) And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

The “four winds” represents every “wind of doctrine” that false prophets preach in order to deceive the poor in Spirit. Their preaching brings spiritual famine, pestilence, “death” to a conquered (deceived) people. Their preaching have stunted the growth of those who listen to them….they are still carnal children.

(Eph 4:14 KJV) That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

God shall wipe away all tears from our eyes…..the “death”, the sorrow, the crying and pain shall pass away. These 4 things have been brought to the many in the church by the false pastors who preach the literal (every wind of doctrine) and pursue the covetousness in their hearts. Under their “care,” many have lived in divisions, hatred, strife and envy. Many have fallen victim to them….but God shall deliver those poor in Spirit from the thieves and robbers. The former things shall pass away.

(Rev 21:3 KJV) And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

These false pastors can repent and be saved though. They can hear the revealed Truth and then feed the sheep with the Truth. But they must acknowledge their sins and deny themselves…they must deny their earthly wisdom of the Bible….they must deny their covetousness. Remember the days of Lot. They must not continue to eat and drink in their covetousness….they must not continue to buy and sell the souls of the sheep…they must not continue planting things (doctrines) that bring forth thorns and thistles and building their religious Babylon….confusion.

(Luke 17:28 KJV) Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

The “Son of man” is to be revealed…..the Scriptures will reveal the spiritual Truth that has been in past times hidden.

30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

Those that are upon the “housetop”…the pastors who are in charge…must deny themselves….their earthly wisdom…their doctrines and commandments of men. They must not cling on to their “stuff”…their teachings…their riches. They must not return back to these things when they see the revealed Truth.

31 In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.
32 Remember Lot's wife.
33 Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.

Like the calling of the disciples, they are to forsake their “nets”….their erroneous teachings that catch men in their evil nets. They must repent…to change their mind.

(Mat 4:17 KJV) From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
18 And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers.

They must follow after Jesus…who is the revealed Truth of God. Those that do, can then be those pastors of Truth ….they can be those “angels” or messengers of the Lord that can gather the sheep who have been scattered by false teachers. They can then be true fishers of men.

19 And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.

They must immediately leave their “nets”….to forsake their own erroneous, literalized, earthly-minded biblical teachings and follow Him.

20 And they straightway left their nets, and followed him.

They must stop preaching for money…out of the covetousness of their hearts. “Zebedee” = “gift.” They must stop perfecting their covetous preaching (mending their nets) and follow Him who calls them. They must stop being “merchants” that make their living off the sea of confusion. They must leave the ship of falsehoods.

21 And going on from thence, he saw other two brethren, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in a ship with Zebedee their father, mending their nets; and he called them.
22 And they immediately left the ship and their father, and followed him.

Like Matthew, many pastors are sitting at their places of authority collecting the “taxes” from the sheep. They burden the sheep with their teachings for money. But if they hear His voice today calling out to them…they are to immediately leave their covetousness and follow the Truth.

(Mat 9:9 KJV) And as Jesus passed forth from thence, he saw a man, named Matthew, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he saith unto him, Follow me. And he arose, and followed him.

Jesus of Nazareth is the Truth of the Scriptures….he is the revealed Truth of Moses and the prophets. “Nathanael” represents those who have no “guile” ….no preaching of trickery….deceit….which lead the sheep astray.

(John 1:45 KJV) Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him,We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.

He questions what is preached to him….he searches the Scriptures to see if the things are so. I speculate that Nathanael may even represent the Jews that are searching the Scriptures for their Messiah. “Philip” may represent those Gentiles who hear the Spirit of Truth and will lead them (the Jews) to the Truth…Christ Jesus…..“Come and see.” Only the revelation of the Scripture of Truth will they listen to….they will hear the Spirit of Truth. AS it is now, many Jews question if anything good can come out of the Christian church….as the revealed Truth is not being currently preached. Nazareth is a town in Galilee….symbolic of the Gentile Christian church. It is the Branch of the Truth that shall be preached. Mercy shall be shown to them through our mercy.

46 And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see.
47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!

Being “under the fig tree” speaks of the humbleness in the studying of the Scriptures. These are people who do not lean upon their own wisdom of the Bible….they do not “climb up the tree”….they do not exalt their own understanding and lead people astray.

48 Nathanael saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee.

These are people who can instantly see that the revealed Truth.... the Son of God…..the “Rabbi”…the master of the Scripture of Truth.

49 Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel.

Seeing the heaven open is seeing all of the Truth being revealed in the Scriptures. It is to see the “greater things” that have been hidden for so long.

50 Jesus answered and said unto him, Because I said unto thee, I saw thee under the fig tree, believest thou? thou shalt see greater things than these.
51 And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.

Been gone today , hope to read your new post as well ...

You brought out some good stuff ..
been thinking after reading this... about Jesus resurrection , breathing on them and they received the Holy Spirit ...

(Gen 2:7 KJV) And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Then said Jesus to them again, Peace [be] unto you: as [my] Father hath sent me, even so send I you.
Jhn 20:22And when he had said this, he breathed on [them], and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:Whose soever sins ye remit,

they are remitted unto them;

[and] whose soever [sins] ye retain, they are retained.
1Cr 12:3Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and [that] no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.

Rom 14:9For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living

.But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
Tts 3:5Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; I was wondering by comparing these if the Holy Ghost is renewed when Jesus rose and revived ?
because He is the resurrection and the Life Jhn 11:25Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
i will read your new post

Hi Chickapee,

Jesus is that life-giving Spirit that is breathed into man.

(1 Cor 15:45 KJV) And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

Jesus is the revealed Truth…..he is the resurrection….the revival of the spiritual Truth in the heart of man....in the heart of the earth. He is sent to us as that life-giving Spirit and we are to receive Him in the love and belief of that Truth.

(John 20:21 KJV) Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.
22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:

The “many” in the church have been “dead” in trespasses and sins….they fight and war with each other in their own lusts…..they need to be “quickened” or made “alive” in the Spirit. They need to be “renewed.”

(Eph 2:1 KJV) And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins:

(Eph 2:5 KJV) Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

The “dead” in sins….those “many” of the church who have been living in divisions, hatred, envy and strife….need to be made “alive” TOGETHER…..to be raised up TOGETHER. No more divisions, hatred and strife among the church who will receive the love of the revealed Truth and be renewed in the Spirit.

6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
7 That in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Man’s works of darkness will not save him. Man's religious, wonderful works done in His name will not save them because it is all motivated by man’s vain glory…..his coveting for things. His grand church buildings and large, successful ministries will not save.

9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Those who have not been led by the Spirit need to have the Spirit renewed in them so that they can overcome. The flesh lusts against the Spirit….they are contrary to one another. Those living after the flesh need to be renewed….made alive from the “death” they have been living in.

(Gal 5:17 KJV) For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

Jesus is the Light….the knowledge of God by which those who are living in darkness can be renewed. It is through the knowledge of the Scripture of Truth that religious man (who is bogged down in hatred for one another) can put off that old man who is corrupt and put on the new man who is RENEWED in KNOWLEDGE….being made in the image of God….in Christ Jesus ( the Truth) who is that express image. the renewing is by the KNOWLEDGE of the Truth...and the Spirit of Truth is sent to us so that we may be saved.

(Col 3:9 KJV) Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

The revealed Truth will RENEW those “many” who have been deceived by false pastors. They will begin to live the life in Christ as they should have been all along. The Lord shall make them know His wisdom…His Truth… in the “hidden part:”

(Psa 51:6 KJV) Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.

They shall be purged from their sins. They shall hear “joy and gladness” instead of sorrow and pain that comes with fighting each other.

7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
8 Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.
9 Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.

He will renew the Spirit within us.

10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.

The joy of His salvation shall be RESTORED unto us so that we may be preachers of His revealed Truth.

12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.
13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.

Going back to Nathanael under the fig tree. This is all a prophecy…..a “sign” with a deeper meaning. “Philip” meaning “fond of horses” may be a veiled reference to the Gentile Christians who will love the revealed Truth in this last day. “Galilee” of the gentiles. Jesus will call out to us to follow him….the revealed Truth.

(John 1:43 KJV) The day following Jesus would go forth into Galilee, and findeth Philip, and saith unto him, Follow me.

Philip = fond of horses. Philip loves the Truth. The faithful and true Word of God and the armies of heaven are all on “white horses”….which I’m thinking symbolizes the Spirit of Truth.

(Rev 19:11 KJV) And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

Philip is of “Bethsaida” which means “fishing house”…..an allusion to being a fisher of men. In this case, the man is Nathanael who is to be “caught” with the net of the Truth. Nathanael may be a reference to the Jews who will finally come to Jesus….the Truth. The believing Gentiles shall preach the revealed Truth in this last day so that the Jews can come and see Christ.

(John 1:44 KJV) Now Philip was of Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter.

Philip “finds” Nathanael. Nathanael is under a “fig tree”….a veiled reference to the act of studying the Law of Moses and the prophets. “Joseph” means “he shall add”….who else is to be added to the body of Christ but the Jews? He shall graft them in again. Jesus is the revealed Truth of the writings of Moses and all of the prophets.

45 Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.

Can there be any good thing come out of Nazareth = can there be any good thing come out of the gentile Christian church? As it is now, the Jews do not listen to the churches. Nazareth was a city in Galilee….Galilee of the Gentiles. It is the Gentiles that will come to the Jews with the revealed Truth of Moses and all of the prophets. They do not listen to us now because the revealed Truth is not currently being taught in the Christian churches.

46 And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see.

Nathanael comes to Jesus…..the Jews will come to him…the revealed Truth in this last day.

47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!

Not only was Nathanael under the fig tree studying…..but the Jews are still under the Law and the prophets….searching the Scriptures for their Messiah….searching for the Life in God.

48 Nathanael saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee.

The Jews of yesterday continued to search the Scriptures (under the fig tree) thinking they had eternal life in them. They did not come to him….the Truth of the Scriptures...in order to have life.

(John 5:37 KJV) And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.
38 And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not.

Search the scriptures = under the fig tree.

39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
40 And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.

But the Jews of today shall listen to Philip...a preacher of the revealed Truth... and come to Him…so that they may have Life in Christ.

49 Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel.

They shall see the “greater things” of the Scriptures…they shall understand the hidden, spiritual Truth. Heaven shall open = the Scriptures shall open up to their understanding so that they may have life. Christ Jesus is that Truth….the Life and the Way. If one is under the fig tree, you can’t see the heaven above you. One must come out from under the fig tree and come to Jesus who is that Truth…the Truth of the Scriptures…the Truth of Moses and all of the prophets…the Truth that is revealed and spoken from heaven…the Truth that speaks greater things than the earthly understanding of the Bible.

Amen ,
I love how the prophecy of the old and new combine !
the fig tree
studying / learning of Him ...Mic 4:4But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make [them] afraid: for the mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoken [it].

Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee: for they [are] men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH.

For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone [shall be] seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.
Zec 3:10In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, shall ye call every man his neighbour under the vine and under the fig tree.

and we shall live by every Word that proceeds out of the Mouth of God Mat 4:4But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

good stuff to ponder... blessings C

The “fig tree” is the Scriptures. When we see the “BRANCH” of the Truth sprouting….the Scripture of Truth starting to be revealed to our understanding, then we are to know that the end of this current generation of “heaven and earth” is near. Our Lord Jesus Christ is that sprout or Branch….the Truth.

(Mat 24:32 KJV) Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

When we shall “see” these things = when we shall UNDERSTAND these things.

33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

This “generation shall not pass”…… this generation of heaven and earth shall not pass away until all these things be fulfilled.

34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

This current generation of the heaven and earth shall pass away. The current religious system with its many different interpretations of the Bible shall pass away. The words of Christ Jesus are the revealed Truth. His interpretation of the Scriptures in the Spirit of Truth shall not pass away.

35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

But as it was during the days of Noah, so shall it be also the “coming” or “presence” of the Son of man be. While the Son of man is being revealed, there will be religious men who will continue in their religious business as usual attitude….not receiving the love of the Truth. The Scripture of Truth will be revealed as the building of the ark during the days of Noah in the presence of all. It will not just happen overnight and there will be an opportunity….a space of time…to repent. But once that ark is finished, the Lord will “shut” the door.

37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

In the presence of the revealing of the Scripture of the Truth….the “Son of man,” many religious leaders will continue eating and drinking in their covetous ways and thoughts…marrying and giving in marriage to spiritual Jezebel. We are to enter into the revealed Truth as Noah did.

38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

The “coming” of the Son of man = the PRESENCE of the Son of man. In the PRESENCE of the Truth.

39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

After the ark was finished……the Truth will be fully revealed, then Noah went in to the ark….where the “breath of life” is. That “breathe of life” for man is Christ Jesus….the revealed Truth…the “ark” of our lives.

(Gen 7:15 KJV) And they went in unto Noah into the ark, two and two of all flesh, wherein is the breath of life.

The Lord will shut the door. The door of the ark of the Truth will be shut to those who will not receive the love of the Truth.

16 And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the LORD shut him in.

The Truth shall be lifted up above all of the earthly understanding of man. All high imaginations of man shall not prevail against the revealed Truth.

17 And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bare up the ark, and it was lift up above the earth.

Those who love the Truth shall prevail against those who love their earthly ways and thoughts.

18 And the waters prevailed, and were increased greatly upon the earth; and the ark went upon the face of the waters.

The “waters”….the people and language of the revealed Truth…shall prevail against prideful men…..the “high hills”…who glory in their earthly-minded ways.

19 And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that were under the whole heaven, were covered.

We should strive to enter in to the revealed Truth….humbly denying our preconceived religious wisdom, thoughts and ways. But there will be those who will not deny themselves…they will continue to eat and drink in their covetousness and marry their strange doctrines of men.

(Luke 13:23 KJV) Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them,
24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.

The master of the house shall “rise up”….like the ark that was lifted up above the earth. The door will be shut.

25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:

They will have continued to eat and drink and be given in marriage in the “coming” or “presence” of the revealed Truth…the Son of man.

26 Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.

Eating and drinking and be given into spiritual marriage of the doctrines of men = works of iniquity.

27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.

I have seen a few scriptures with the Branch in them :)

I like Isaiah alot ..

Thy sun shall no more go down;

neither shall thy moon withdraw itself:
for the LORD shall be thine everlasting light,

and the days of thy mourning shall be ended.
Isa 60:21Thy people also [shall be] all righteous:

they shall inherit the land for ever,

the branch of my planting, the work of my hands,

that I may be glorified.A little one shall become a thousand,

and a small one a strong nation:

I the LORD will hasten it in his time.

gives us great hope .. C

Indeed, Isaiah is a favorite book for me as well. The “branch” = “sprout”….the “sprout” of green growth on the “fig tree” of the Scriptures….the “sprout” of the Truth that springs up in the “dry” earth….in man’s heart of earth. We are to receive the love of this “sprout” of the Truth….then man can then bring forth fruits of righteousness….the true righteousness of God as compared to the fruits of envy and strife that earthly-minded men have been preaching. That fruit can only be brought forth by those who are “escaped” of Israel…..escaped from Babylon….the confusion of the wisdom of man. Religious man’s understanding of the Scriptures have been only “exterior”….based only on the outward, letter of the writings.

(Isa 4:2 KJV) In that day shall the branch of the LORD be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel.

We are to be found written among the living in Jerusalem….in heavenly wisdom….by the receiving of the love of the Truth….in believing the revealed Truth…..in doing the Truth.

3 And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem:
4 When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.

It is this green “sprout” of the Truth that shall grow up in our lives. The “sprout” grows up….a little one shall become a thousand and a small one a strong nation.

(Isa 60:21 KJV) Thy people also shall be all righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.
22 A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the LORD will hasten it in his time.

It is the Truth….Christ Jesus…that will set those prisoners free. The “many” in church have been in bondage to their captors….their powerful pastors of earthly understanding They have been in bondage to man’s doctrines and commandments…bondage to fear.

61:1 The spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

There are those who “mourn” what they see happening in the churches…the hatred, the strife and envy…the divisions.

2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

The “sprout” of the Truth can grow up in our lives and make us “trees of righteousness.”

3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

The Truth shall be restored to man….man shall be set free from his own earthly thoughts and ways so that he can be a preacher of true righteousness in the Lord. He shall reveal hidden Truths in the Scriptures…..he shall build the old “wastes.” Religious men have taken the Scriptures and have marred the Truth beyond recognition.

4 And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.

The Truth of the Scriptures has been “marred” by man’s corruptible understanding. He literalizes them in his earthly wisdom.

(Isa 52:14 KJV) As many were astonied at thee; his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men:

But the Truth shall speak….and the “kings”…the pastors, reverends, priests…. shall shut their mouths at him. They shall be astonished by what they hear because it has never been heard….the Scripture of Truth. They had only been existing on the surface understanding of the Bible. What they have not “heard” shall they consider.

15 So shall he sprinkle many nations; the kings shall shut their mouths at him: for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they consider.

Will they believe it when they hear the Scripture of Truth? Will the “Son of man”…the Scripture of Truth….find faith on the earth?

53:1 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?

The revealed Truth shall grow up before God as a “tender plant”….as a root out of a dry ground. It will start out small….but it will grow up into the powerful, swift Word of God.

2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.

The revealed Word of God shall “grow” up and multiply…starting as a “sprout” in the dry ground of man’s heart.

(Acts 12:24 KJV) But the word of God grew and multiplied.

The Word of Truth shall be believed in this last day…they shall confess their sins…their missing of the mark of the Truth. They shall burn their earthly wisdom…thoughts and ways.

(Acts 19:18 KJV) And many that believed came, and confessed, and showed their deeds.
19 Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together, and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver.

The revealed Word of God shall POWERFULLY grow up and prevail against man’s wisdom….as the waters “prevailed” upon the earth.

20 So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.

The revealed Truth shall prevail against man’s prideful, earthly heart…..the “high hills.”

(Gen 7:19 KJV) And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that were under the whole heaven, were covered.

Let us labor to enter into His rest. “Noah” means “rest.” Let us enter through the “door” of the ark…Christ Jesus who is that door…that sprout of the Truth. Let us cease from our own religious works that are based upon the earthly, surface understanding of the Bible.

(Heb 4:10 KJV) For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.

Let us remember those who did not listen to Noah…that preacher of righteousness. He preached as he built the ark….before it rained. The ark wasn’t built overnight…and so religious man has the opportunity to hear the preaching of the Truth as it starts small. But every day that Truth is being progressively revealed….faith to faith.

11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

For the revealed Word of God will mightily grow up and prevail. It will become quick and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword.

12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

It will become a swift witness against those who will not believe the revealed Truth…it will prevail against those who will not deny their own erroneous religious ways and thoughts. It will be against those who will continue to preach deceptive errors to those poor in Spirit….those who will hold down the Truth in unrighteousness.

(Mal 3:5 KJV) And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts.

Let us listen to the still, small voice of the Truth and obey….before the thunder and lightning and rain comes….before the time comes that the door is shut upon those who will not believe…..before the days come when those who will not believe find no pleasure in them.

The Bible represents the “body” that had been prepared. It is the “body” of the testimony of Jesus that had been prepared for the sacrifice.

(Heb 10:5 KJV) Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:
6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.

The “body” is right before us….. the “volume of the book”….the entire Bible… that testifies of him.

7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.

But before that “body” of the testimony of Jesus had been finished….. the literal sacrifices and offerings were done in anticipation of that finished “volume of the book.” Before the “body” of the Bible was finished, Moses built a tabernacle in anticipation of the finished book....in the "pattern" of the finished volume of the book. Before the “body” of the testimony of Jesus was completed, Solomon built a temple in anticipation of the completion of the Bible. All of these things….the building of the temple, sacrifices, building of the altar…… were symbols of the completed Bible….they were built and done in faith while they looked forward to the completion of the Bible and the presence of Christ….the true interpreter of their testimony about him. Christ Jesus is that Truth that shall come and open up the testimonies of the saints. Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross represents the sacrifice of all the witness’ testimony in the flesh of man’s mind. Religious man has taken the Scriptures and wrested them in his earthly mind…..crucifying it. The Bible of written Israel is that “suffering servant.” Jesus was the “sign” that was “spoken” against…..the Jewish leaders had “disputed, contradicted” …the teachings of Jesus.

(Luke 2:34 KJV) And Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mary his mother, Behold, this child is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against;

Likewise, religious man has taken the Scriptures and applied his own words and wisdom to them….in a sense, contradicting them. Religious man has silenced the true witness of the Bible in the flesh of his own understanding. The cloud of witness’ testimonies are silent….as they wait for Christ Jesus….who is the Truth… to come and speak through them. All of our sins….our misses of the mark of the witness’ Truth…have been done in ignorance. It is the sacrifice that had been prepared….our sacrifice for our sins. The body of the Bible (the body of Jesus) had been finished by the apostles. Their writings that are included in the “body”of the “volume of the book” were last….and appointed to “death”….the wresting of ignorant, earthly-minded, hateful men.

(1 Cor 4:9 KJV) For I think that God hath set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to death: for we are made a spectacle unto the world, and to angels, and to men.

Paul represents the last writer….he was the last apostle.

(1 Cor 15:8 KJV) And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.

And per the plans of God, his epistles have been used by earthly-minded, unlearned and unstable men to “persecute” the church of God. Religious man has twisted and contorted Paul’s witness of Christ in order to bring others into the bondage of men’s fleshly commandments and doctrines.

9 For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.

But by the grace of God, his witness shall shine in the Truth in this last day…..by the manifesting of Christ Jesus…the Truth…through his words.

10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

As Jesus stated it is “finished” on the cross…

(John 19:30 KJV) When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

Paul….the last apostle…also “finished” the “volume of the book”….he finished his work…his epistles…he finished his “course” in Christ Jesus.

(2 Tim 4:7 KJV) I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

As Jesus stated….. “forgive them, for they know not what they do.” Religious man knows not what he does when he wrests the Scriptures for his own earthly vain glory. Religious man is in ignorance of the revealed Truth….and all of his religious “works” are in “darkness”….done without knowing what the Scriptures are truly saying. Christ Jesus is the Truth….the True Sayings of God They parted his “raiment”….the Scriptures.

(Luke 23:34 KJV) Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

Paul was the last apostle to finish the “body” of the Bible. All men have “forsook” him….because they twist and distort his words….as well as the rest of the Scriptures. But again, echoing Jesus…. “may it not be laid to their charge.”

(2 Tim 4:16 KJV) At my first answer no man stood with me, but all men forsook me: I pray God that it may not be laid to their charge.

But the Lord will make the Word of God powerful…strengthening the words of the witnesses in the Truth. The Bible will be delivered out of the mouth of the “lion”….out of the ignorant preaching of unlearned and unstable pastors and leaders of the church. The Truth will be preached through the revelation of Christ Jesus….His preaching of the truth that has been hidden in the testimony of the saints. We, Gentiles, are to hear….to FULLY KNOW…what is truly being said in the Bible.

17 Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

Paul’s letters shall be delivered from “every evil work”…all of the contorting of his testimony…in which religious man has “persecuted” the church with.

18 And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

The Word of God will no longer be the “suffering servant”….in silence as men have taken the surface understanding and built doctrines and commandments of bondage. The Word of God will become powerful and swift in the revealed Truth.

(Heb 4:12 KJV) For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

The hour is coming when the TRUE worshipers shall worship the Father in the Spirit and in TRUTH.

(John 4:23 KJV) But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

God is a Spirit…..and they that worship Him MUST worship Him in SPIRIT and in TRUTH.

24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Jesus Christ is that life-giving Spirit…..He is the TRUTH. He comes to give us the knowledge of God….he comes to “tell us ALL things.” And these “things” are the “things” of the Bible. He comes to open up our understanding to the Scriptures so that we may know God’s will correctly….so we can worship Him in Spirit and in Truth.

25 The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.

Jesus is that Truth that will speak (preach) to us in that “hour” that shall come.

26 Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.

Like the woman at the well, the church has been arguing over its theological differences.

(John 4:20 KJV) Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.

But no one is correct….for all have argued over things that are based on the literal understanding of the Bible. We shall worship the Father in Spirit and in Truth when Christ Jesus shall come and open our minds to His knowledge….by the “opening” up of the Bible to the spiritual things. The theological wrangling shall fall by the wayside as we learn how to truly worship the Father. We have all not known what we worship….but that shall lack of knowledge shall disappear.

21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.

The Spirit of Truth shall come to show us all things….he shall guide us into ALL TRUTH. HE will show us “things to come” through the opening up the Scriptures in their spiritual knowledge. We shall know God’s plans….His will….by this understanding….and when we preach what we hear the Spirit of Truth is saying, we are “prophesying.” This “prophesying” comes from understanding the verses of the Bible in their spiritual counterpart….and not in their superficial, literal, outward ness.

(John 16:13 KJV) Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come.
14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall show it unto you.
15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall show it unto you.

The Father Himself shall give us this knowledge….His wisdom…if we ask Him in the name of Jesus Christ…who is that spiritual Truth.

(John 16:23 KJV) And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.

If we ask for His knowledge in his name, we shall receive it….so that our joy may be FULL.

24 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

We have only been reading the Bible in the “proverb” mode…we have not known the hidden, spiritual knowledge that is contained in them. But the time is coming when Christ Jesus…who is the Truth….shall show us PLAINLY of the Father. The Bible will be opened up for our spiritual understanding…..we shall know it in all plainness….all out-spokenness….all frankness.

25 These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall show you plainly of the Father.
26 At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you:
27 For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.
28 I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.

His disciples today shall know Him…..by the plain preaching of the spiritual Truth of the Bible. They shall no longer be stuck in the mind with the outward proverb knowledge. They shall know the deep things of God.

29 His disciples said unto him, Lo, now speakest thou plainly, and speakest no proverb.

If we lack His wisdom, let us ask of God. He shall show us in all plainness the Scripture of the spiritual Truth….as compared to the Scripture of “proverbs.” But it is man that must not “unbraid” what is given him. Man must not deride that spiritual Truth…he must not oppose and contradict it with his own earthly, literal understanding of the Bible.

(James 1:5 KJV) If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

Man must believe in what he receives of God. He that wavers is like a wave of the sea driven of man’s fleshly, earthly commandments and doctrines. We must let go of those things in order to enter in through that door of Truth. We must deny our own religious knowledge in order to enter into God’s knowledge and wisdom.

6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

Those who will not believe…shall not enter into that spiritual Truth. Their own unbelief shall keep them out because they will love their own literal-based knowledge of the Bible more than God’s….who created the Scriptures.

(Rev 22:14 KJV) Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

There will be those who will NOT believe in that revealed, spiritual Scripture of Truth….they will want to cling onto the Scripture of “proverbs”….looking and loving only the exterior words which shall pass away. They shall not receive the love of the spiritual Truth of the Bible and be saved…..they would rather worship and serve the exterior, literalness of the Bible rather than worship the Creator of it in Spirit and in Truth.

(Rom 1:25 KJV) Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

The treasure of the spiritual Truth is hidden by the literal, exterior words and events of the Bible…. “earthen vessels.”

(2 Cor 4:7 KJV) But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

Though man has taken the Scriptures and wrested them in his earthly understanding of the literalness of the words, they are not destroyed. Though man has distorted (persecuted) what the Word of God says, it is not forsaken. The Lord will come to deliver the Scriptures out of the fleshly-mindedness of man and his resulting earthly works and transform them into His spiritual Word so that man can be saved and do the true works of righteousness. The “burning bush” that Moses saw was not consumed by the fire. The Scriptures will not be destroyed by man’s corruptible understanding.

8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;

The witness’ words of the Bible have taken the brunt of our sins….our misses of the Truth. The biblical saints’ words…their eyewitness accounts… are bearing about the dying of the Lord Jesus in the “body” of the book. Man has crucified the Scriptures with his earthly understanding…on the pole of falsehood. The Scriptures is that “body” of Jesus that had been prepared by God to be the ultimate sacrifice. But the LIFE of Jesus shall be manifested in the body of the Scriptures…..by the correct interpretation of them….by His knowledge being shown in the words that were previously misunderstood.

10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.

The spiritual Truth shall be revealed through the words of the saints. That Truth leads us to the Father...to the Life and the Way of righteousness.

11 For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.
12 So then death worketh in us, but life in you.
13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;

The Truth shall be raised up….the Scripture of Truth. Jesus is that Truth that shall raise up the saints’ words into the spiritual, heavenly Word of God.

14 Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.
15 For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.

The saints have faith that God will rescue their words from ungodly men who wrest the Scriptures. The “outward man perish”….the exterior, earthly knowledge of the Bible is the corruptible. The spiritual knowledge of the Bible is the incorruptible.

16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

The “light affliction” is only for a moment. The “light affliction” of the Scriptures is by Satan and his ministers who corrupt the exterior, literal, outward letter of the Bible. But there is no harm to the spiritual Truth as it has been hidden from their understanding.

17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

Satan and his ministers of “righteousness” only look at the things that are “seen”….the literal, historical words of the Bible. That is the source of their power to deceive others by their preaching of the literal understanding of the biblical things. The literal understanding of the Bible is their source of riches and gain in this world. They do not see…or understand….the hidden spiritual Truth in the cloud of witnesses’ words. The spiritual things are foolishness to the “natural” man…who only takes the Bible’s words at “face value.” The surface, superficial understanding of the Bible is “temporal.” This current world of superficial understanding shall pass away. The Lord will change the understanding of man like a garment. The things which are not currently understood…..the spiritual Truth…are eternal.

18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

The “earthly house of this tabernacle” = the earthly, literal, biblical understanding and works of man…..is to be dissolved by the eternal, spiritual Truth….the things which are not seen or understood….yet. The heavenly building is the revealed Truth. We are to be built up in the revealed Truth by the knowledge of God. All of the current, religious things are the buildings of man…which shall be dissolved.

5:1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

The saints “groan”…earnestly desiring to be “clothed” with the heavenly Truth of their words….their eyewitness accounts recorded in the Scriptures are to be transformed from the earthy image into the heavenly image.

2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:
3 If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.
4 For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.

The Scriptures have born the image of the earthy. “Natural”- thinking man has only understood the exterior, surface, outward letter of the Scriptures. But the Bible is to be transformed….transfigured….into the heavenly knowledge of God….the spiritual “man.”

(1 Cor 15:46 KJV) Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.
48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

The mystery of the Bible shall be “changed” into the spiritual understanding in the mind of Christ. Man shall understand the Word of God in Spirit and in Truth.

51 Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

The corruptible-by-man, exterior understanding shall put on the incorruptible spiritual Truth by the mind of Christ. The spiritual Truth of the Bible is immortal.

53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

It is by that heavenly knowledge of Him that we are saved. He shall give us the Spirit of wisdom and revelation.

(Eph 1:17 KJV) That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

We are to have the “eyes of our understanding” enlightened…..to understand the Scriptures in their heavenly Truth as compared to the earthly, dark understanding of man’s literal perspective. Our inheritance is with the biblical saints….in His Light. We can then become preachers of the revealed Truth to others.

18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,

The current understanding of religious man and his earthly works shall pass away. The current system shall perish. This current “earth and the heavens” shall “wax old” like a garment. Man’s earthly understanding and his earthly, religious works is going to be destroyed….it is corrupt and decayed. God shall change the corruptible understanding of man and man’s current, tired religious system into the incorruptible in the knowledge of the revealed Scripture of Truth. The new earth shall be the home for righteousness.

(Psa 102:25 KJV) Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands.
26 They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed:
27 But thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end.
28 The children of thy servants shall continue, and their seed shall be established before thee.

The current religious system of man has produced strife, division, hatred, confusion, sorrow and pain. It has waxed old like a garment and is ready to perish…..it shall pass away.

(Rev 21:1 KJV) And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

The pure wisdom of God shall come down from heaven.

2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

The “former things” that were done out of the earthly understanding of the Bible by men shall pass away. Our deceptive leaders shall lose their positions over us (the stars shall fall from heaven)….our works of bondage…the doctrines and commandments of men shall pass away….our envy and strife and hatred shall pass away. It is the revealed Truth that will bring this to pass….the words of Jesus Christ are eternal. All of our current troubles in the churches shall pass away by the renewing of His Spirit within us….by the Spirit of Truth.

4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

God’s interpretation of the Word is true and faithful. Man’s interpretation of the Bible has been earthy and false.

5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

Christ Jesus shall reveal the Scripture of Truth to those who thirst for that water of Life.

6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

It is better to be a living dog than a dead lion. It is better to eagerly desire that revealed Truth than to continue to be a deceptive preacher of falsehoods.

(Eccl 9:4 KJV) For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion.
5 For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.

Those “dead” preachers and leaders of falsehoods…who will hate the Truth …shall not have any portion in the preaching of the revealed Truth. Their love of this world, their hatred and envy and strife shall perish. The revealed Truth shall dissolve all of man’s turmoil which is caused by liberalizing the Bible….which has resulted in many being bogged down in envy and strife. The earthy image of the Bible shall change into the heavenly image.....from our own knowledge to the knowledge of God.

6 Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun.

61:1 The spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

There are those who “mourn” what they see happening in the churches…the hatred, the strife and envy…the divisions.

2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

The “sprout” of the Truth can grow up in our lives and make us “trees of righteousness.”

Amen ! I have been busy for a couple of days , good to be back ,
love the things written here today !

thought of this too and love how Paul picked up by the Holy Spirit many things to be revealed ...Rom 6:5For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death,

we shall be also [in the likeness] of [his] resurrection:

Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with [him],

that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth

we should not serve sin.

For he that is dead is freed from sin.

Now if we be dead with Christ,

we believe that we shall also live with him:

Rev 14:13And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed [are] the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.Rom 6:3Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also [in the likeness] of [his] resurrection:Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with [him], that the body of sin might be destroyed,
here I see this .. Jesus being buried with us as transgressors /sinners the POWER OF THE CROSS OF CHRIST JESUS IS the ressurection and the Life ... Isa 53:12Therefore will I divide him [a portion] with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
Mar 15:28And the scripture was fulfilled, which saith, And he was numbered with the transgressors. Luk 22:37For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end.
the above being fulfilled numbered with the transgressors

the Branch of His planing Paul used the same simile ! Isa 60:21Thy people also [shall be] all righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.
that henceforth we should not serve sin.For he that is dead is freed from sin.Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Jhn 12:32And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all [men] unto me.This he said, signifying what death he should die.The people answered him, We have heard out of the law that Christ abideth for ever: and how sayest thou, The Son of man must be lifted up? who is this Son of man? Paul / saul saul hears this voice from heaven speaking to him Act 22:7And I fell unto the ground, and heard a voice saying unto me, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?And I answered, Who art thou, Lord? And he said unto me, I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom thou persecutest.

the wording, fell to the earth ! Act 26:14And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? [it is] hard for thee to kick against the pricks. And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest. But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee;Delivering thee from the people, and [from] the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee,
To open their eyes, [and] to turn [them] from darkness to light, and [from] the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me
Rom 7:4Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, [even] to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.
fruit to perfection / complete / end

WHEN Jesus told saul he was persecuting Him it was his Body of believers new in the covenant of promise Rom 12:5So we, [being] many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. see how it is ALIVE TO GOD
1Cr 12:12For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also [is] Christ. Eph 4:12For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying/ of the body of Christ: 1) (the act of) building, building up
2) metaph. edifying, edification
a) the act of one who promotes another's growth in Christian wisdom, piety, happiness, holiness

more clarity and yet there is more !

lift up son of man ) to lift up on high, to exalt
2) metaph.
a) to raise to the very summit of opulence and prosperity
b) to exalt, to raise to dignity, honour and happiness Jhn 8:28Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up5312 the Son of man,

then shall ye know that I am [he], and [that] I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.
copyChkboxOff.gif
Jhn 12:32And I, if I be lifted up5312 from the earth, will draw all [men] unto me.
Praise His Holy Name !!
