In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Hi Wheeler ,
after reading your last post and than reading Deut 13 and Deut 7 the cursed thing the abomination and knowing we are the temple of the Living God and God shall destroy that man who defiles it
seems to be by idols ! the last of this chapter has me thinking
we can become the cursed thing ....in Gods holy place where His Spirit dwells , this is most serious a matter , it has me awakened and sober! 1Cr 3:17If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which [temple] ye are.

speaking of the Body of Christ , this Temple not made with Hands but Gods Spirit &Truth
as we are to worship Him in and be holy as He is holy .....
.

Hi Chickapee,

Yes we are the Temple and there should not be covetousness in the Temple of God. There should not be selling of goods in the Temple. Covetousness is an "idol"....it is the abomination of desolation that is in a place that it should not be. Many Christians have been worshiping an idol and don't even know it....they have to have their sins declared to them. Any doctrine, practice and tradition that is built upon covetousness is an idol. We don't have to have literal statues of gold and silver to be an idol...it is whatever is highly esteemed among men....that they lust for...money, power, fame, bigger church buildings, larger ministries, etc....all idols motivated by seeking their own glory...."making a name for themselves" upon the earth. Jesus comes again to drive out those who seek to make merchandise of us...this is a prophetic scene for today....Jesus shows us the abomination of desolation in the temple:

(John 2:13 KJV) And the Jews' passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem,

Here is the literal abomination of desolation in the temple.....covetousness standing where it ought not. Today...it is still in His temple...His body.

14 And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:
15 And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables;
16 And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise.
17 And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.
18 Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign showest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?
19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
20 Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?
21 But he spake of the temple of his body.

We are not to keep company with idolaters....we are to depart from them whether they be our own church brothers and sisters...our own church...we can't sit at the same table....

(Mark 10:25 KJV) It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
26 And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved?
27 And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.
28 Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee.
29 And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's,
30 But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.

We have to FLEE from idolatry.....which is COVETOUSNESS....the "abomination" that is in the temple....the body of Christ. We must not keep company with a people who say they are fellow Christians but are given to covetousness.

(1 Cor 10:14 KJV) Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.
15 I speak as to wise men; judge ye what I say.
16 The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?
17 For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.
18 Behold Israel after the flesh: are not they which eat of the sacrifices partakers of the altar?
19 What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing?
20 But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.
21 Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils
.
22 Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he?
23 All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.

Jesus will "spue" those out of his mouth....he will cast them out of the Temple of His body....because of the abomination....covetousness for riches and goods...for making merchandise of the people of God...of His body.

(Rev 3:16 KJV) So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

He will gather out of His kingdom all these things....and those who cling on to them:

(Mat 13:41 KJV) The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Amen Wheeler ! the Body of Christ is Holy holding the Head

Paul warns these in Col 2 of not holding the Head /Christ Jesus in authority

and its about overcoming the world
just as 1John 5 is the end warns of keeping from idols but overcoming the world by being '' built up '' in Christ the true Holy Temple God and Jesus dwells in and dead to the world

1Jo 5:21 21Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.

Col 2 7Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.

8Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
9For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
10And ye are complete in him,

which is the head of all principality and power: 11In whom also

ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands,

in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:

17Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

18Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility

and worshipping of angels,

intruding into those things which he hath not seen,

vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,

19And not holding the Head,

from which all the body by joints and bands

having nourishment ministered,

and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.
20Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world,

why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances,
21(Touch not; taste not; handle not;
22Which all are to perish with the using..................

after the commandments and doctrines of men? ,,,,,,,,,,,,

23Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship,

and humility, and neglecting of the body:

not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.

going to look deeper into these things Wheeler thanks for the conversation in Christ it has been such a blessing
Prasie God . C

The literal illustration of the abomination of desolation being in the holy place (where it should not be) is when Jesus finds men selling oxen, sheep and doves and changing money in the temple….the literal holy place of 2000 years ago. The abomination that Jesus found in the holy temple were the thieves buying and selling their religious merchandise….covetousness in the temple of God.

Through this literal happening of 2000 years ago, we can see what has spiritually happened to the church itself today (the temple….the body of Christ) and what Christ Jesus will do when he comes back. He will once again drive out those who with covetousness buy and sell within the temple….within His body…the church. There are men among us in the church whose only goal is to make merchandise of us….they have made the church today a “house of merchandise.” It doesn’t take much to see this today…the church is filled full of buying and selling. There is no end to the religious books, movies, music, glorious buildings, sermons for sale, peace for sale etc, etc, etc. We have become a house of merchandise….a den of robbers….a den of thieves. The abomination of covetousness has made the church desolate today. The desolaters are the false prophets who have set these things into the church.

(John 2:14 KJV) And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:
15 And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables;

Today, those who are selling “doves” are the ones selling their brand of peace but their hands are really full of violence. When we make merchandise of our brothers and sisters, we are doing violence…we are not showing love to them. The literal temple had been changed from the house of prayer to a den of thieves. … to a house of merchandise…to a house of abomination…to a house of desolation. Today, the church has been made desolate also by the false prophets who buy and sell….making merchandise of us.

16 And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise.

Are we really “delivered” to do all these abominations?

(Jer 7:10 KJV) And come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered to do all these abominations?

And continuing in John, we see Jesus prophetically speaking of the temple of his body…that it would be destroyed and in three days would be raised up:

17 And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.
18 Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign showest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?

Jesus was the “sign.” His own death and resurrection predicted the death and raising up of us….the temple of his body. We, the church, who have been “destroyed” by the works of false prophets and thieves, will be raised up by Christ Jesus. We, as the lively stones, will be built into a spiritual house to offer up spiritual sacrifices that are acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
20 Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?
21 But he spake of the temple of his body.

Jesus will open the Scriptures to our understanding so that we may correct ourselves and be built into a blameless and holy temple. The Lord will give us the Word as it should be…by every Word of God….by revelation of the Truth by the Spirit of Truth. So far, Truth has been cast to the ground….but this will change.

22 When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.

We, the church, are to be built upon the rock of God’s revelation of the knowledge of the Scriptures to us….not the preaching of false prophets who use the words of the bible to deceive us and make merchandise of us.

(Mat 16:17 KJV) And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

The “gates of hell” will not prevail against His church. The false prophets will not prevail….they have kept the church in a type of death and hell (grave) for the last 2000 years.

(Isa 53:9 KJV) And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.

But our Lord Jesus tells the church that he has the keys of death and hell to let us out. He has the keys of the kingdom of heaven…the hidden knowledge of the mysteries that have been kept until the appointed time. This is all done to show forth the glory of God. We will be raised up in the mind of Christ.

18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

We are the church today that has been made desolate by those thieves in the temple….we are the spiritual church of Laodicea of today….we have become wretched, miserable, poor, blind and naked:

(Rev 3:17 KJV) Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

“Laodicea” means “people of the judgment”….the judgment of God is coming upon all those who buy and sell in His temple…the church. They have become rich with their activities. But as Jesus rebuked and chastened those buying and selling in the temple 2000 years ago, he also rebukes and chastens those of the church today that he loves. Let us repent and accept his correction.

(Rev 3:19 KJV) As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

Those who will continue in their ways and ignore the Lord’s correction and instruction (rebuke and chastening) will be judged:

(2 Pet 2:3 KJV) And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

If we are unfaithful with the small things (unrighteous mammon,) how can we be trusted with the true riches…the hidden mysteries of knowledge.

(Luke 16:11 KJV) If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?

As it says in the “law” or the “instruction,” those who are found deceiving (stealing) any of his brothers in Christ and making merchandise of him shall die….we are to put this evil away from among us. There is mercy and forgiveness to those who will reform their covetous ways and thoughts.

(Deu 24:7 KJV) If a man be found stealing any of his brethren of the children of Israel, and maketh merchandise of him, or selleth him; then that thief shall die; and thou shalt put evil away from among you.

When all these evil, covetous things and people (who will not repent and change their ways )are purged from the temple, we can shine as the sun in the kingdom of our Father:

(Mat 13:41 KJV) The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Then we can do the real works of God….there will be nothing that can stand against us because God is with us.

This made me think of Dan 12
Daniel 12

1And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
2And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
3And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. 4But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

The Lamb / Lord has opened the book and seals imo

just as the 5 wise virgins which were asleep with the 5 foolish virgins
they all rose in Matt Ch 25 the wise that were ready went on into with him to the marriage and the door was shut. the same of the

measure of talents one hid it in the earth the slothful servant the others bore fruit with the increase of God for God and joy was the reward from the Lord in Matt 25
the last two verses says 45Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
46And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

It is all about servitude and faithfulness to God when you do love God first and seek His righteousness and His Kingdom
everything else will be added unto you ..Mat 6:33But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
the Lord serves us all , and shows us how to please the Father
in His works and words Mat 10:24The disciple is not above [his] master, nor the servant above his lord.

Amen Chickapee!

I believe the Lord is opening to us the Scriptures as we speak…it is happening now…and those who hear His voice will open the door up and learn from Him the hidden mysteries of the gospel. We are to sit at His feet and hear His voice and not be like Martha who was “busy” and worried over many things. Many in the church are too busy, like Martha, to hear…they are bogged down in a great many things….many church activities, ministries, wonderful works, concerned for the affairs of this world. Will they hear the voice of the archangel? Will they listen to His instruction? Those who don’t hear…or refuse to hear will have great tribulation. For our Lord comes from heaven with the voice of the archangel.

(1 Th 4:16 KJV) For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

The voice from heaven will glorify God and not man:

(John 12:28 KJV) Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.

The archangel will speak the Truth of God….the voice of God is like thunder….He thunders with the Truth.

29 The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to him.

The voice speaks for our sakes…for deliverance…for our understanding…for judgment of this world.

30 Jesus answered and said, This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes.

The voice of the archangel is the Spirit of Truth. He comes for judgment:

31 Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.
32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

And we see in John what the Spirit of Truth….the voice of the archangel…does. When he is come…he will reprove the world of sin and or righteousness and of judgment:

(John 16:8 KJV) And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

The Spirit of Truth is the voice of the Lord…those who do not listen are reproved and judged:

9 Of sin, because they believe not on me;
10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;
11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.
12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.

The Spirit of Truth…the voice of the archangel…will guide us into ALL truth. What he hears the Lord say is what he speaks…he speaks not of himself:

13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come.

The Spirit of Truth….. the voice of the archangel…will glorify God and the Son.

14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall show it unto you.
15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall show it unto you.

The archangel comes to roll the stone from the door…..the Scriptures are opened to understanding by which we are delivered. He will guide us into all Truth. The Truth will set us free. The angel sat upon the throne…..indicating the throne and judgment. The earthquake represents the shaking of all man’s wisdom of the Scriptures…the things that can be removed….so that the revealed Truth is what is left standing.

(Mat 28:2 KJV) And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.

The archangel is the Spirit of Truth…the chief messenger of ALL Truth. We are to hear His voice and open the door and our Lord will sup with us…He will feed us with all knowledge and wisdom. He will forgive us of our sins and transgressions…we have been like sheep who have all gone astray. “Michael” means “who is like God?” Who is like God that will pardon our iniquities and cover our transgressions?

(Micah 7:18 KJV) Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.

He will have mercy and compassion upon us…He will subdue our sins and cast them into the depths of the sea:

19 He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.
20 Thou wilt perform the truth to Jacob, and the mercy to Abraham, which thou hast sworn unto our fathers from the days of old.

The Christian church has been no better than the Jews…for we have all sinned and fell short of the glory of God. We have behaved just as the Pharisees….we have loved money, we have loved recognition in the marketplaces….we do religious deeds for our own glory to be seen among men, we love the praise of men…we worship God in vain by our teachings of commandments of men. “The fullness of the Gentiles” is a reference to the sin of the church that reaches its limit. When the fullness comes to completion, than all of Israel will be saved when our God turns away ungodliness from all of Israel (Jacob):

(Rom 11:25 KJV) For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

When we put on Christ….we will all be one….as one man…as a perfect man in Christ Jesus. No longer will be leaning upon our own wisdom…. “Greek.”

(Gal 3:27 KJV) For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

We must put on the “new man” and get rid of the old, religious man who has fought in strife and envy with his brothers and sisters. The old religious man was corrupt according to the deceitful lusts for money, big church buildings, big ministries, fame, power, etc.

(Eph 4:22 KJV) That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another

But first, we must hear His voice and who will teach us….who will reveal the Truth to us by the Spirit of Truth…the voice of the archangel. We must have His knowledge to understand our poor, wretched condition (the present condition of the church) and to correct ourselves…to wash our robes in the blood of the Lamb. Then we can put on the “new man”….and grow up into a perfect man in Christ Jesus….to have one mind in Christ and one mouth. No longer will be divided in 1001 different denominations hating each other in strife and envy…. which are the deeds of the “old man.”

(Eph 4:21 KJV) If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:

Hi Wheeler ,
Amen !! being faithful in a few things , even the unrighteous mamon
or the God given talents in Mat 25 we can know they joy of the Lord by entering in the Body of Christ .. the door that no man can shut only the Lord can .
Mat 25:21His lord said unto him, Well done, [thou] good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

we can be forgiven Paul is a great example of Gods mercy

I remember Paul saying that what he knew as sin/lust was his coveting by the Law
Rom 7:7What shall we say then? [Is] the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.

God bless you and yours .. C

All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew [it] unto you.

Praise the Lord ! C .

That is something ! whew! wonderful...... Blessings ! I always wondered about Michael the prince of Gods people being the Angel of the Lord and the Spirit of Truth ...
copyChkboxOff.gif
Dan 10:21But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and [there is] none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your prince.

but God bless you God has laid it out pretty plain even I can see it now !
It is a breakthough !

this must be why in Jude the Spirit of Truth lets the Lord rebuke , when the Law as the dead body of Moses is spoken evil of like in the steets of the two witnesses in rev 11 Jud 1:9Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee. But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.

these connections are really coming qiuckly ...

rev11

3And I will give power unto my two witnesses,

and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days,

clothed in sackcloth.

4These are the two olive trees,

and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
5And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them,

he must in this manner be killed.
6These have power to shut heaven,

that it rain not in the days of their prophecy:

and have power over waters to turn them to blood,

and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.
7And when they shall have finished their testimony,

the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
8And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
9And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations

shall see their dead bodies three days and an half,

and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.

10And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them,

and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another;

because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.

11And after three days and an half the spirit of life from God entered into them,

and they stood upon their feet;

and great fear fell upon them which saw them.

12And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them,

Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud;

and their enemies beheld them.

amazing .......

Wheeler I can see the angel who rolled away the Stone as Michael ! thanks it does settle within , I have looked into this more and need your help to sort it out ,
Michael and Gabriel

Gabriel
champion of God, used as a proper name to designate the angel who was sent to (Daniel 8:16) to explain the vision of the ram and the he-goat, and to communicate the prediction of the seventy weeks (Daniel 9:21-27).

stand in the Presence of God ....... are these two the cherubim shadowing over the mercy seat ? in Hebrews 9 could this be so ........ they do glorify God , they are holy , so many things to consider here ....
Those on the ark are called the "cherubim of glory" (Hebrews 9:5), i.e., of the Shechinah, or cloud of glory, for on them the visible glory of God rested. They were placed one at each end of the mercy-seat, with wings stretched upward, and their faces "toward each other and toward the mercy-seat." They were anointed with holy oil, like the ark itself and the other sacred furniture.9:5 And over it the cherubims of glory shadowing the mercyseat; of which we cannot now speak particularly.
9:6 Now when these things were thus ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God.

God promised to commune with Moses "from between the cherubim" (25:22).
Dan 8:16And I heard a man's voice between [the banks of] Ulai, which called, and said, Gabriel, make this [man] to understand the vision.
copyChkboxOff.gif
Dan 9:21Yea, whiles I [was] speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation.
copyChkboxOff.gif
Luk 1:19And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings.
copyChkboxOff.gif
Luk 1:26And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,
Have asked the Lord for understanding these things His Word and its a hard thing to explain , but after looking into these things much deeper , the Lord Jesus just may be revealing something that has been hidden in plain sight ...

Michael who stands up and Gabriel who stands in the presence of God

As Jesus said, if we love him and keep his words, the Father will love us also and they will come to us and make their abode with us. They will teach us all things in all knowledge and wisdom.

(John 14:23 KJV) Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

The Spirit of Truth will be sent to us to teach us ALL things and to bring ALL things to remembrance of whatever the Lord has said to us. The Scripture of Truth will open to us…to those who receive the love of the Truth. The “Comforter”…the Spirit of Truth… will give us peace and rest from the tribulation that the church has endured at the hands of false prophets….from the wolves in sheep clothing who have burdened us with their distortions of the bible. They have made us prisoners…slaves…merchandise...with their covetous teachings. God will wipe away all tears from our eyes so that we may see….understand. We will know ALL things….ALL Truth.

24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.
25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.
26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

As the Lord says in Revelation, he stands at the door and knocks. If we hear His voice today (the Spirit of Truth,) we are to open the door. We are to LOVE Him….love the Truth and KEEP His Words. We must receive the love of the Truth when the Spirit of Truth comes to “knock” on our door. His revealed Word is to be loved and kept….He will give us all knowledge and wisdom…the Lord’s supper…..He will sup with us and us with him.

(Rev 3:20 KJV) Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

By hearing what the Spirit says, we can overcome what has hindered us and will be granted the right to sit down with the Lord in the Father’s throne. We will judge the world with the Spirit of Truth.

21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Right after this, John sees a “door opened in heaven”….this represents the opening of the Scripture of Truth to our understanding. Those who receive the love of the Truth will be taught all things…and be shown things to come….a door will open in heaven to him…spiritually speaking. The Spirit of Truth will show us things to come. We will see these things by the understanding of what is already written in the Scriptures. What happens to John is a continuation of what is promised to those who overcome in the church in Laodicea:

4:1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will show thee things which must be hereafter.

Compare the phrase” show thee things which must be hereafter” in Revelation to what is said about the Spirit of Truth in the gospel of John. The Spirit of Truth will guide us into all truth and will show us things to come….just as John saw things to come in Revelation. The Spirit of the Truth is the voice from heaven…it is the “trumpet” that talks to us:

(John 16:13 KJV) Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come.
14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall show it unto you.

Continuing in Revelation, we again see the Father’s throne as promised to those who overcome …we will be granted the right to sit with Him in His throne:

2 And immediately I was in the spirit; and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.

John heard a voice as if it were a trumpet talking with him….the Lord comes with the voice of the archangel….with the “trumpet” of God. It said to John “come up hither”….compare this to 1st Thessalonians…..the “dead in Christ shall rise first:”

(1 Th 4:16 KJV) For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

In Exodus 19:16, we see a prophecy, we will hear the “voice of the trumpet” of God like the children of Israel did…the Spirit of Truth. It was on the “third day”….symbolizing the spiritual “third day” when the Truth will be revealed to us who hear the Spirit. It was “in the morning” on the third day….we also will have a spiritual “morning”….the bright, morning star will rise and shine in our hearts. His voice is like the thunder….and the coming of the Son of Man is bright like the lightning. The “thick cloud” is the “cloud of witnesses”…the witnesses as recorded in the bible will disclose the revealed Truth by the interpretation of our God. The Lord through the Spirit of Truth will open up the Scriptures to our understanding….the “Scripture of Truth”….not by man who leans upon his own understanding of the bible.

(Exo 19:16 KJV) And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled.

When examining Exodus 19:19, we see that the voice of the archangel….the trumpet of God….will sound long and will wax louder and louder. These are things to come that the Spirit shows us. People will hear the “trumpet” and the Truth will become clearer and clearer. Note: MOSES WAS CALLED UP TO THE TOP OF THE MOUNT AND MOSES WENT UP:

(Exo 19:19 KJV) And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and waxed louder and louder, Moses spake, and God answered him by a voice.
20 And the LORD came down upon mount Sinai, on the top of the mount: and the LORD called Moses up to the top of the mount; and Moses went up.

Let us compare these verses: 1st Thessalonians, Exodus 19:19, Revelation 4:1, and Revelation 11:11….they all say the same thing:

(1 Th 4:16 KJV) For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

In 1st Thessalonians, we see the dead in Christ shall rise first and in Exodus, Moses was called up to the top of the mount and Moses ascended up by God’s voice. These are saying the same thing.

If we compare, we see they are saying the same thing:

The “dead in Christ shall rise first” is equal to Moses ascending up to the top of the mount.

In Revelation, we see a voice as if it were a trumpet saying “Come up hither” to John.

If we compare, they are all saying the same thing:

The dead in Christ shall rise first = Moses ascending up to the top of the mount = John is told to “Come up hither.”

(Rev 4:1 KJV) After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will show thee things which must be hereafter.

And also in Revelation, we see the two witnesses that had their dead bodies lying in the street having the Spirit of Life enter into them….and a great voice tells them to “come up hither” and they ascend up to heaven in a cloud.

If we compare all these scriptures, we see they are saying the same thing:

The dead in Christ shall rise first = Moses ascending up to the top of the mount = John is told to “Come up hither” = the two witnesses are told to “come up hither.”

(Rev 11:11 KJV) And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

The great “voice” is God’s voice from heaven…it is the voice of Jesus Christ our Lord….it is the voice of the archangel… it is the voice of the trumpet…it is the voice of the Spirit of Truth that comes to open up the Scriptures for us….the “Scripture of Truth.” The Scriptures become “alive” when our Lord properly interprets them for us. They have been “killed” by false prophets….their testimony has been distorted and twisted by the fleshly mind of man who have misused them for evil. We will learn what Moses and all the prophets are truly saying with the mind of Christ guiding us into all truth if we hear His voice. We will sit in heavenly places in Christ Jesus with the Truth….we will sit in His throne. With this understanding, we can recognize our sins and purify ourselves in the blood of the Lamb. Our God is merciful and full of compassion and will cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Let us not harden our hearts if we hear His voice today:

(Heb 3:15 KJV) While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.

We have been in a “grave”….we have been in “death and hell”…under the power of the enemy. The false prophets have led us astray and deceived many to go through the wide gate of ruin. But the Lord will give us His voice….let us receive the love of the Truth when He speaks and be saved. Let us not reject the Truth and turn our ears away.

(John 5:28 KJV) Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

Today, let us receive the love of the Truth and be saved when we hear His voice!

(2 Th 2:10 KJV) And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

(Heb 3:15 KJV) While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.

The time is coming when our Lord Jesus Christ will show us plainly of the Father….He will guide us into ALL Truth….all knowledge and wisdom of God.

(John 16:25 KJV) These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall show you plainly of the Father.

(Rev 3:22 KJV) He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Love what you said and staying on track , sometimes i get to studing to much and it gets all tangled up for me :(

I just wanted to say Jesus Voice is the voice of a multitude and many waters ABOVE am I seeing this wrong ? Dan 10:6His body also [was] like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude. Rev 19:1And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God:

Rev 19 19:6And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.

Rev 14:2And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:

there are many more .....Rev 1:15And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.
Psa 29:3The voice of the LORD [is] upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the LORD [is] upon many waters.
copyChkboxOff.gif
Eze 43:2And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east: and his voice [was] like a noise of many waters: and the earth shined with his glory.
I appreciate all you do and the time it takes to post
I will read your post tonight , made a copy to read in depth

 Very encouraging Wheeler ,

We know that the Things above are Blessed , that we should dwell in the things above the prophets still speak to us this day , the many voices from above in Jesus and the Father and Holy Spirit & the angel witness for the one speaking is of the brethern of the prophets that keep the saying of the Book
we are to Worship God in Spirit and Truth NOW it is the hour .. as this shows it is now opened and not sealed

rev22

6And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.
7Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.
8And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.
9Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.
10And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand. Jhn 4:23But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

the Lord God is gathering His sheep into His fold .. Luke 15

3And he spake this parable unto them, saying,

4What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?
5And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing. 6And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost. 7I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.

Hi Chickapee,
As I have freely received, I freely give.

There are many ways to illustrate the same message. Jesus used different parables to highlight the same point or idea he was trying to get across.

The main point is that God opens up the Scriptures to our understanding in these end times which saves us from those who have taken the bible and distorted its true message. We are saved from those who use the bible to deceive us and lead us away from His righteousness. We have been in a spiritual “drought” so to speak. The Lord has remained silent to the Truth of the Scriptures. While He was silent, the false prophets have filled in the silence with their teachings and understandings. But when He comes to open up the Scriptures to spiritual understanding, it is like a coming thunderstorm that is about to rain upon the dry earth. We will hear His voice of thunder. His teaching is as the rain and His judgments are like lightning. We have been living in a spiritual drought….our “bones are dry” and so is the true message of the bible.

(Ezek 37:11 KJV) Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts.

Many of our own priests, pastors, reverends, preachers…our church leaders have led us astray by their deceitful words…their erroneous teachings of the bible.

(Jer 23:15 KJV) Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts concerning the prophets; Behold, I will feed them with wormwood, and make them drink the water of gall: for from the prophets of Jerusalem is profaneness gone forth into all the land.

But as a thunderstorm approaches, we hear the “thunder”….we see the “clouds”….and it begins to “rain” upon the dry earth…the “rain” brings life and growth to the dry earth. Our God comes to straighten what has been crooked. He gives us rain from heaven…His knowledge and Truth. The Truth that is revealed is like rain to our thirsty souls. The Scriptures are opened up to our understanding and with this understanding we can escape from the influence of those who have taught in error. We can purify ourselves with the knowledge of God. We can overcome this “world”….this religious, fleshly-minded world that we live in…the current religious “orderly arrangement” (kosmos) that we see that lies in wickedness. We have to “wake up” and see the true condition that the church has been in while under the power of spiritual wickedness in high places.

The “many waters” are people that Jesus speaks through. The “cloud of witnesses” produces rain. Christ Jesus uses the words of Moses to speak through…he uses all the prophets…all the disciples….the cloud of witnesses. The words that are written in the bible will be translated for us…they will be “changed” into something we have never understood before. It will go way beyond what we have understood previously….for many men have read the bible only at the “surface” level….they only see the literal surface stories and miss the spiritual message altogether. But it is Christ who comes to make “alive” the Scriptures for us…a living Word. Out of the stone comes the living water. We will read it a new way…with spiritual eyes….it is a “new song.” As Moses showed us with his song,

(Deu 31:30 KJV) And Moses spake in the ears of all the congregation of Israel the words of this song, until they were ended.

Christ is speaking through Moses. Moses is part of the Lord’s voice of “many waters “. When Christ speaks through Moses, the “doctrine shall drop as rain.” We learn spiritual things that enable us to produce fruits of true righteousness as opposed to man’s teachings of “righteousness” which produce works of iniquity.

32:1 Give ear, O ye heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth.
2 My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass:

When Christ Jesus opens His mouth and teaches us (as opposed to the false teachers,) our dry “bones shall flourish like an herb.” The power of the Lord shall be KNOWN toward us…we shall know all things because He teaches us. Our hearts shall rejoice at His teachings. But the enemies…those who oppose His words and teachings…who oppose the revealed Truth, will have “indignation” because they refuse to receive the love of the
Truth and be saved. The Truth interferes with their covetous practices and ways…their riches.

(Isa 66:14 KJV) And when ye see this, your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an herb: and the hand of the LORD shall be known toward his servants, and his indignation toward his enemies.

The men who have led us into error with their teachings and oppose God’s Truth will be judged. God will “cast forth lightning” and scatter them.

(Psa 144:6 KJV) Cast forth lightning, and scatter them: shoot out thine arrows, and destroy them.

His “hand”….His power….will deliver us out of “great waters.” He will deliver us from false teachers (the great waters) and their power over us. The “hand of strange children” is a reference to the power to deceive that the false prophets have over us. They deceive by misinterpreting the bible….they form their own doctrines by sewing together verses of the bible to reinforce their covetous ways and thoughts.

7 Send thine hand from above; rid me, and deliver me out of great waters, from the hand of strange children;
8 Whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood.

We will sing a “new song:”

9 I will sing a new song unto thee, O God: upon a psaltery and an instrument of ten strings will I sing praises unto thee.

His teaching of the revealed Truth is the “living water” ….it is the “rain.” We, who hear what the Spirit says and repeat what we hear for others to hear, are part of His voice of “many waters.” We, with the Spirit and the bride, will teach the hidden knowledge of God….the “water of life.” We repeat what the Spirit of Truth says and so become a messenger of God….the voice of “many waters” in Christ Jesus. The “many waters” are all of the saints’ testimonies that are recorded in the bible and those who participate in revealing their hidden Truth that is contained in their witness. We repeat what the Spirit and the bride say:

(Rev 22:17 KJV) And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

We are looking forward to the marriage supper…..to the True Sayings of God. Just as the marriage in Cana was on the third day, so also the spiritual knowledge of the bible will be given to us on the spiritual “third day:”

(John 2:1 KJV) And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there:

We, his pupils, are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb.

2 And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage.

Blessed are those called to the marriage supper of the Lamb….to know and understand the “true sayings of God.” We have been in a drought under the teachings and sayings of false teachers.

(Rev 19:9 KJV) And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

Jesus’ mother was there. The “mother” is symbolic of heavenly wisdom…the Jerusalem from above who is the mother of us all. God’s wisdom is in the “true sayings of God.” Jesus’ mother said “they have no wine:”

3 And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.

Under the teachings of false teachers and prophets, we have had “no wine” also….we have no real joy with their teachings and activities. Only the false teachers have joy in their own deception and riches. They have joy in their own folly. Folly is joy to him who is destitute of wisdom (Prov 15:21.) But we, who mourn for the condition of the church, have no joy. We sigh and cry for all the abominations that are in the midst of it. There is much envy, strife and hatred in the church. Having no “wine” is a reference to joy that has ceased among us.

(Isa 24:11 KJV) There is a crying for wine in the streets; all joy is darkened, the mirth of the land is gone.

The joy of our heart is ceased:

(Lam 5:15 KJV) The joy of our heart is ceased; our dance is turned into mourning.

And continuing in John, we see by Jesus’ response to his mother that there is something more meaningful here than just a marriage that took place 2000 years ago. We are looking forward to THE marriage supper….the true sayings of God that are revealed in these last days. The hour is come. Blessed are those who are called to that supper…..where the finest of wines and the best of meats are prepared for us….where the knowledge and wisdom of God are.

4 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.

As his mother said to the servants….whatever he says, we do. The “mother” is heavenly wisdom and we are His servants….we are to listen to His voice and speak whatever He speaks.

5 His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.
6 And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece.

Whatever Jesus says and teaches to us, we are to say and teach others also. We are to “fill the water pots with water.” The Greek word for “water” is “hudor” which means “rain water.” To teach the revealed Truth of the Lord is filling the water pots with “rain water.” It is the FULL knowledge of God that will fill our hearts.

7 Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.

Through the knowledge of our Lord, He will create in us a clean heart…a purified heart.

(Psa 51:10 KJV) Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.

With a clean heart, our Lord will restore to us the joy of salvation:

12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.

Then we can teach transgressors God’s ways. We can fill others hearts with the “rain” of living water.

13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.

We are the servants of the Lord…the “many waters”…the “stars” that will shine as the brightness of heaven. When there is an abundance of God’s knowledge in our hearts, then we can turn others to righteousness:

(Dan 12:3 KJV) And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

Through His knowledge, we will draw out water out of the wells of salvation. We will be joyful with His wisdom and knowledge in our hearts. The “finest wine” will gladden our hearts. The “water” which is His knowledge….will make JOY…the “wine”… in our hearts.

8 And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it.
9 When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,

God has prepared a feast with the finest wine….let us share His knowledge with great joy.

John 2:10 And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.

Let us with joy draw water out of the wells of salvation. Joy = “wine” that is drawn out of the well of salvation.

(Isa 12:3 KJV) Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.

We are to praise the Lord and “declare His doings among the people”….in other words, to declare His knowledge among the people. To fill the water pots with water.

4 And in that day shall ye say, Praise the LORD, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted.
5 Sing unto the LORD; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth.
6 Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.

God will give us “rain from heaven” so that we may be fruitful in His knowledge….and His knowledge will fill our hearts with joy… “the finest wine” that has been saved for last.

(Acts 14:17 KJV) Nevertheless he left not himself without witness, in that he did good, and gave us rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.

“Wine” gladdens the hearts of men:

(Psa 104:15 KJV) And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengtheneth man's heart.

(James 5:7 KJV) Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.

Amen Great post Wheeler , that was beautiful ...

Glad someone else can see this as well , you have the gift to express in words very well .. this is a stuggle for me to write in words ...but get some of Gods heavenly language
the Launguage of the Bible is for those new ears to hear and new eyes to see and new heart to understand that He so create the new man in Christ Jesus by His Holy Word .....

2Cr 5:17Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. Eph 4:24And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
1Pe 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever

For all flesh [is] as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:
But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

this also explains the rain ......Hebrews 6 and I love what it means

bearing goodly fruit to God and to remain faithful to Him Jesus said make the tree good and the fruit good or make the tree corrupt and its fruit
this would show the differnce here to me in Hebrews 6...

7For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God:

8But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.
9But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak.
10For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
11And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:
12That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
13For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself,
14Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.
15And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.
16For men verily swear by the greater: and an oath for confirmation is to them an end of all strife.

17Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath:
18That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:
19Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil; 20Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
Jer 11:16The LORD called thy name, A green olive tree, fair, [and] of goodly fruit: with the noise of a great tumult he hath kindled fire upon it, and the branches of it are broken.

we can see this olive tree was set ablaze

The LORD called thy name, A green olive tree, fair, [and] of goodly fruit: with the noise of a great tumult he hath kindled fire upon it, and the branches of it are broken.

For the LORD of hosts, that planted thee, hath pronounced evil against thee, for the evil of the house of Israel and of the house of Judah, which they have done against themselves to provoke me to anger in offering incense unto Baal.
. But I [was] like a lamb [or] an ox [that] is brought to the slaughter; and I knew not that they had devised devices against me, [saying], Let us destroy the tree with the fruit thereof, and let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name may be no more remembered.

But, O LORD of hosts, that judgest righteously, that triest the reins and the heart, let me see thy vengeance on them: for unto thee have I revealed my cause.
thanks be to God for you and those whom the Lord calls to help feed the sheep .

We are to come out of “Babylon”…the confusion…the religious city that is built by men for his own vain glory. The city that is being built by men is for the purpose of making a name for themselves upon the earth. It is done in vain glory….for the glory of men.

(Gen 11:4 KJV) And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.

Our “language” has been “confounded.” We do not understand the Scriptures fully…there is much confusion over what the proper interpretation is. It was the will of God. And as a result of this confusion, we are living in many different denominations….one not understanding the other. The Baptist doesn’t understand the Methodist…the Protestant doesn’t understand the Catholic, etc, etc, etc.

5 And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded.
6 And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.
7 Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.

But a time has come that we must come out of Babylon to a city whose builder and make is God:

(Heb 11:10 KJV) For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

We are to be fellow laborers with God to build the temple….the body of Christ…as it should be. We are God’s building….and He will build us with His knowledge and Truth as opposed to what religious man has built in the last 2000 years.

(1 Cor 3:9 KJV) For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.
10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

This is not a building motivated by man’s glory.

(1 Cor 3:21 KJV) Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours;

Our God speaks from heaven through a new understanding of the Scriptures…He properly interprets them for us so that we may purify ourselves from all of Babylon’s sins and that we may be built up upon the rock that is Christ. It is His revelation of the Truth from heaven that builds us into His building.

(Heb 12:25 KJV) See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:
26 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.

When He speaks to us from heaven, His Truth will remove all of the things that can be shaken….all of man’s knowledge of the Scriptures that can be easily removed by His voice.

27 And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.
28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:

We are to flee from Babylon like Lot escaped from Sodom. We should, in faith, wait for the Lord to give us the revealed Truth as Lot sat in the gate waiting for the angels…the messengers of the Truth.

(Gen 19:1 KJV) And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground;

The “two angels” are the “two witnesses”….they are the Scriptures….the perfected Scripture of Truth….the Living Word of God as interpreted by God. A hint that these are the two witnesses in Revelation is given by the angels’ response to Lot…. “we will abide in the street all night:”

2 And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant's house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night.

The “two witnesses” in Revelation were lying in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt. Men have taken the Scriptures with his own understanding and interpretation (Sodom) and produced his own doctrines and commandments….which keep people in bondage to them (Egypt.)

(Rev 11:8 KJV) And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

We are to receive the love of the revealed Truth into our hearts. We are to feast on the Truth….unleavened bread.

3 And he pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in unto him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and they did eat.

But there will be those in our own church who will resist the Truth when it comes…they will oppose and contradict it…..just like the men of Sodom.

4 But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter:

Those that resist the Truth will have the door shut to them….for outside are those who love the darkness…who love covetousness and deceit in their church assemblies… they love the abomination standing where it ought not be.

(Gen 19:10 KJV) But the men put forth their hand, and pulled Lot into the house to them, and shut to the door.

God will send them a strong delusion so that they should believe a lie….they will be blinded to the revealed Truth because they did not receive the love of the Truth and be saved.

11 And they smote the men that were at the door of the house with blindness, both small and great: so that they wearied themselves to find the door.

The “blindness” is the strong delusion….they will not believe the Truth when it comes…but will have pleasure in unrighteousness. They will continue in their covetous ways and thoughts. They will continue to build and plant their religious empires.

(2 Th 2:11 KJV) And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:

As the men of Sodom wearied themselves to find the door, so also will those who resist the Truth when it comes. They will never be able to come to the knowledge of the Truth. “Knowledge” = “epignosis”….which is the FULL knowledge of God. The wicked will never understand until it is too late.

(2 Tim 3:7 KJV) Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.
10 But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,
11 Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.

As the men of Sodom came to persecute Lot, so will those of our own church family. Our enemies will be those of our own household. We are to suffer persecution for Christ Jesus while “evil men and seducers” shall perish in their own corruption.

12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

For without are those who do not believe the Truth…they do not receive the love of the revealed Truth.

(Rev 22:15 KJV) For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

“Sodom” is to be destroyed….Babylon will burn with fire. Sin has reached its limit…the cup is filled….the fullness of the sins of the gentiles will be reached….the sin of the amorites is full (Genesis 15:16)

12 And the men said unto Lot, Hast thou here any besides? son in law, and thy sons, and thy daughters, and whatsoever thou hast in the city, bring them out of this place:
13 For we will destroy this place, because the cry of them is waxen great before the face of the LORD; and the LORD hath sent us to destroy it.

Let us heed the message….the revealed Truth…and escape for our lives. Let us lose our lives to save them. If we stay in the “city,” we will be consumed in the iniquity of the city. We will perish in the sins and plagues of Babylon. We are to “arise” as Lot…we are to wake up and cast the works of darkness away and let the light of Christ shine in our hearts.

(Gen 19:15 KJV) And when the morning arose, then the angels hastened Lot, saying, Arise, take thy wife, and thy two daughters, which are here; lest thou be consumed in the iniquity of the city.

Let us not linger like Lot did…let us escape for our lives. Let us lose our life in Sodom to save it.

16 And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; the LORD being merciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him without the city.

Let us also be like the Lord who had mercy for Lot and his family by pulling them by the hand out of Sodom. We are to have mercy and pull others out of the “fire”…out of “Sodom” which means “to scorch, burnt.” For Sodom will burn.

(Jude 1:22 KJV) And of some have compassion, making a difference:
23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.

Let us heed the messengers….let us “escape for our lives”…and not look back toward the things we leave behind. Let us escape to the “mountain” of God.

17 And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed.
18 And Lot said unto them, Oh, not so, my Lord:
19 Behold now, thy servant hath found grace in thy sight, and thou hast magnified thy mercy, which thou hast showed unto me in saving my life; and I cannot escape to the mountain, lest some evil take me, and I die:

Lot fled to a “little” city….Zoar. “Zoar” means “little” and is a veiled reference to “Paul” which also means “little.” It is the revealed gospel of Christ Jesus through Paul’s writings that helps us escape today….it will build us into the temple of God.

20 Behold now, this city is near to flee unto, and it is a little one: Oh, let me escape thither, (is it not a little one?) and my soul shall live.
21 And he said unto him, See, I have accepted thee concerning this thing also, that I will not overthrow this city, for the which thou hast spoken.
22 Haste thee, escape thither; for I cannot do any thing till thou be come thither. Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar.
23 The sun was risen upon the earth when Lot entered into Zoar.

“Zoar” which means “little”…the same as “Paul”....was previously named “Bela.”

(Gen 14:8 KJV) And there went out the king of Sodom, and the king of Gomorrah, and the king of Admah, and the king of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela (the same is Zoar;) and they joined battle with them in the vale of Siddim;

“Bela” means “devoured, that which he has swallowed up.” Paul’s writings also have been “swallowed up” by the enemy. His words have been misused by fleshly minded men for the last 2000 years…his message has been in the mouth of the “lion.” His writings have been “swallowed up” by those who would twist and distort his letters…unlearned and unstable men who deceive others with Paul’s letters.

(2 Tim 4:17 KJV) Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

In these last days, Paul’s writings will be properly understood in the mind of Christ. They are strengthened by the Lord. Christ Jesus will speak through Paul to us from heaven …..the Gentiles…so that we may FULLY KNOW and might hear. He will properly interpret Paul’s words to us. We are to “hear” what is said through Paul….we are to escape “Sodom” and go to “Zoar.” Paul described himself as a “wise masterbuider” in Christ….in his letters are great revelations of the Truth to the awakening church of today. It is the good news of deliverance to the church today….it is the deliverance out of Babylon….it is the escape from Sodom and Egypt. We are to leave Babylon and be fellow workers with God, in Christ, in rebuilding the temple as those Israelites did when they departed from Babylon those thousands of years ago. We will help restore the Truth, that had been cast to the ground by the enemy, to others…leading many to His righteousness as the stars in the heavens.

(1 Cor 3:10 KJV) According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Now looking into ''if'' you love me , Jesus used this small and yet very
conditional word ''if '' when He asked those about keeping the comandments and loving Him .. and Love does make all the difference
the verb is an action word that mixed with Faith moves mountains and
changes things
this never dawned on me before to look into ''if '', with that conditional particle with various tenses and moods , with anything generally assumed to be done , or to have been done or about to be done ... Jesus was /is and will be making a difference in Love ..

what does love/charity agape from agapaō
do??? agapaō
1)
affection, good will, love, benevolence, brotherly love
2) love feasts 1Pe 4:8And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.

Jam 5:20Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

Jud 1:12These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds [they are] without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots; Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.

seen these connections here and how the fear of God which is the beginning of wisdom is lacking in those that join in the love feasts
or the feeding and drinking of the spiritual man /child of Christ that has the fear of God and wisdom from above with those what are among that do not have any fear of God or wisdom from above
Job 28:28And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that [is] wisdom; and to depart from evil [is] understanding.
Pro 9:10The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy [is] understanding.

: John 14:15-21 (NRSV)
[15] "If you love me, you will keep my commandments.
[16] And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, to be with you forever.
[17] This is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, because he abides with you, and he will be in you.
[18] "I will not leave you orphaned; I am coming to you.
[19] In a little while the world will no longer see me, but you will see me; because I live, you also will live.
[20] On that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you. [21] They who have my commandments and keep them are those who love me; and those who love me will be loved by my Father, and I will love them and reveal myself to them."

some more places the proof of the fruit is in the root and the'' if '' stipulation Jesus added for reproof , so many may deceive their own hearts because the love they have is not of God though Jesus Christ but their own love and call this type of love that is a respecter of persons of God !! in Jesus name , we are to hate evil in ourselves first and formost and in anything or anyone and die to it , let it be dead , the law of sin and death [death last enemy ] has slain the old man , making the new man/ child in Christ love the law in Christ Rom 8:2For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

we are to be rooted and grounded in the Love of Christ making the difference .............Eph 3:17That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,May be able to comprehend with all saints what [is] the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
this seems to say when the Love abounds the knowledge becomes secondary wow!!!

Jhn 8:31Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, [then] are ye my disciples indeed;
copyChkboxOff.gif
Jhn 13:35By this shall all [men] know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast [them] into the fire, and they are burned.

If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

Jhn 15:8Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and [that] your joy might be full. This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and [that] your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
are we able to discern this much and see this type of fruit is in us and in one another ?

we cannot serve God and the world both at the same time ..... we do hate one and love the other
we just got to make sure it is the True and living God we serve .. our covering is Christ and His love in us covers much error
the labour of Love is not in vain 1Th 1:3Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;
copyChkboxOff.gif
Hbr 6:10For God [is] not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
His Spirit of rest and peace and hope and love in Him ..

Hi Wheeler , you just posted ! looking forward to reading your new post !

I love how the Spirit flows in your posts !
blessings ..
seen a little so far about the tower of Babel Gen 11
the con-founder hunter of men /beasts Nimrod as direct decendent of the giants of old , them old mighty men renown/ reputation, fame, glory...

Gen 6:4There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare [children] to them, the same [became] mighty men which [were] of old, men of renown.
Gen 10:8And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth.
Gen 10:9He was a mighty hunter before the LORD: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD. And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.
Nimrod = "rebellion" or "the valiant"1) the son of Cush= "black", grandson of Ham = "hot", and great grandson of Noah; a mighty hunter, he established an empire in the area of Babylon and Assyria

the thing is when we start after the flood we can see that 1/3 begins in Ham
1/3 part of the stars were darkened
1/3 city fell etc..

I believe this was all from the Begining and in the end we can see how it all come to pass a bit better ..

Peace C ...

There is a season and time for every purpose under heaven. There is a time to keep silence and a time to speak.

(Eccl 3:7 KJV) A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

Our Lord has kept silence while the enemies have lifted up their heads in pride. They have taken the bible and produced works of the flesh….covetous works. They are the “tares” among the wheat whose fruits are of the pride of this life.

(Psa 83:1 KJV) A Song or Psalm of Asaph. Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God.

The enemies make a “tumult”….they are like the raging seas churned by deceitful doctrines and commandments of men.

2 For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head.
3 They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones.

There are many among the churches who do not speak peace….their ways and thoughts are deceitful. Their teachings are aimed at making merchandise of us.

(Psa 35:20 KJV) For they speak not peace: but they devise deceitful matters against them that are quiet in the land.
21 Yea, they opened their mouth wide against me, and said, Aha, aha, our eye hath seen it.

Our Lord has kept silent….but He will stir Himself and “awake” to judgment:

22 This thou hast seen, O LORD: keep not silence: O LORD, be not far from me.
23 Stir up thyself, and awake to my judgment, even unto my cause, my God and my Lord.
24 Judge me, O LORD my God, according to thy righteousness; and let them not rejoice over me.
25 Let them not say in their hearts, Ah, so would we have it: let them not say, We have swallowed him up.

The Lord has been “asleep” as those around us have afflicted and oppressed the people of God. But, He will “awake” to help us and redeem us for His mercies’ sake.

(Psa 44:23 KJV) Awake, why sleepest thou, O Lord? arise, cast us not off for ever.
24 Wherefore hidest thou thy face, and forgettest our affliction and our oppression?
25 For our soul is bowed down to the dust: our belly cleaveth unto the earth.
26 Arise for our help, and redeem us for thy mercies' sake.
They have “swallowed” up the words of the bible. They have swallowed up His elect. They have taken the witnesses’ words and misused them for deceit…..for their covetousness. Those in the church have suffered also….we also have been swallowed up by those ungodly men among us. The tares grow up with the wheat until the harvest. But God will send forth His mercy and His Truth. He will save us from the tares.

(Psa 57:3 KJV) He shall send from heaven, and save me from the reproach of him that would swallow me up. Selah. God shall send forth his mercy and his truth.

The Scriptures and His people have been among “lions” whose teeth are spears and arrows….their tongue a sharp sword. They use the bible for deceit…teaching falsehoods to the poor in spirit who are deceived by their clever words. They seek to make merchandise of us.

4 My soul is among lions: and I lie even among them that are set on fire, even the sons of men, whose teeth are spears and arrows, and their tongue a sharp sword.
5 Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; let thy glory be above all the earth.
6 They have prepared a net for my steps; my soul is bowed down: they have digged a pit before me, into the midst whereof they are fallen themselves. Selah.
7 My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise.
8 Awake up, my glory; awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.

But our God will “awake” to deliver us from the workers of iniquity among us:

(Psa 59:2 KJV) Deliver me from the workers of iniquity, and save me from bloody men.
3 For, lo, they lie in wait for my soul: the mighty are gathered against me; not for my transgression, nor for my sin, O LORD.
4 They run and prepare themselves without my fault: awake to help me, and behold.

He will “awake” to visit all the heathen:

5 Thou therefore, O LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel, awake to visit all the heathen: be not merciful to any wicked transgressors. Selah.

The Scripture of Truth will reveal the heavenly wisdom, New Jerusalem. The “uncircumcised and the unclean” shall no more use the bible for their deceitful purposes over the flock of God. We will have His revealed Truth to discern the clean from the unclean.

(Isa 52:1 KJV) Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean.

Our Lord will “awake” and quiet the waves of ungodly men as he did when he was asleep in the ship.

(Mat 8:20 KJV) And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.

The false teachers….the “foxes”….the “birds of the air”….the tares….have their positions of authority over the flock with their knowledge, but the Lord has no place to lay his head….His wisdom and knowledge.

The “thorns”….ungodly men…. have temporarily been in charge of the church as signified by the “crown of thorns” place upon Jesus’ head and the purple robe:

(John 19:2 KJV) And the soldiers platted a crown of thorns, and put it on his head, and they put on him a purple robe,

And again, this is signified by Jonah….that the “weeds” were wrapped about his head. In this day and age, the “thorns” are in authority over the church until the Lord “awakes” and rescue us from them. The “waters compassed” Jonah about…..the “depth closed” around him….this signifies the “ungodly men”….men of Belial (worthlessness) in the church….tares growing up with the wheat.

(Jonah 2:5 KJV) The waters compassed me about, even to the soul: the depth closed me round about, the weeds were wrapped about my head.

Again, the “waves of death” that compass us about are the “floods of ungodly men” among us…..the tares with the wheat. They are the “sorrows of hell:”

(2 Sam 22:4 KJV) I will call on the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.
5 When the waves of death compassed me, the floods of ungodly men made me afraid;
6 The sorrows of hell compassed me about; the snares of death prevented me;
7 In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried to my God: and he did hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry did enter into his ears.

Our God will “arise”….He will “awake” and speak. There is a time to keep silence and a time to speak.

8 Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations of heaven moved and shook, because he was wroth.

His disciples…..his learners follow the Lord wherever he goes. Even though the Lord has been “asleep” like Jesus was asleep while the ship was covered with the waves, He will “awake” with our calling upon Him:

(Mat 8:23 KJV) And when he was entered into a ship, his disciples followed him.

The “waves” are those proud, ungodly men around us….they have made us afraid.

24 And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep.

But the Lord will save us from them….He will rebuke the winds and the sea:

25 And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish.
26 And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.

We are not to be afraid of their terror:

(1 Pet 3:13 KJV) And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?
14 But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;

Even the “winds and the sea” will obey Him:

27 But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!

The Lord will “arise” and rebuke the voice of the enemies…the tumult (raging waves) of those that rise up against the Lord and His Truth:

(Psa 74:22 KJV) Arise, O God, plead thine own cause: remember how the foolish man reproacheth thee daily.
23 Forget not the voice of thine enemies: the tumult of those that rise up against thee increaseth continually.

He will arise and “awake” for judgment:

(Psa 7:6 KJV) Arise, O LORD, in thine anger, lift up thyself because of the rage of mine enemies: and awake for me to the judgment that thou hast commanded.
7 So shall the congregation of the people compass thee about: for their sakes therefore return thou on high.
8 The LORD shall judge the people: judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me.
9 Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins.
10 My defence is of God, which saveth the upright in heart.
11 God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.

The “floods” have lifted up their waves. They are in pride and love the wages of unrighteousness. The flood of the ungodly are in our very churches.

(Psa 93:3 KJV) The floods have lifted up, O LORD, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves.
4 The LORD on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea.
5 Thy testimonies are very sure: holiness becometh thine house, O LORD, for ever.
94:1 O LORD God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, show thyself.
2 Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud.

As the crown of thorns was upon Jesus’ head, the wicked have been rulers…they have been in “triumph” for a long time. They utter and speak hard things…they boast in their works of iniquity.

3 LORD, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?
4 How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?

They have broken His people in pieces with their erroneous teachings of the bible.

5 They break in pieces thy people, O LORD, and afflict thine heritage.

They “slay the widow:”

6 They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless.

They say the “Lord shall not see”….because He has been silent while they deceive the heritage of God. But He will awake and speak… He will rebuke the waves and the wind.

7 Yet they say, The LORD shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it.

His elect are like the “widow” who should “trouble” our Lord for His judgment against the enemy that is in authority in the church (the crown of thorns.) We should “awake” Him as the disciples did in the ship.

(Luke 18:1 KJV) And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
2 Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:
3 And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.
4 And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;
5 Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.
6 And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith.

We are to always pray and not faint for Him to “awake” and arise….to avenge because of the adversary.

7 And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?

He will avenge speedily. But will He find faith on the earth? Will He find people watching for His knowledge and wisdom when He reveals it? Or will they be too busy building and planting their religious empires to notice? Will they be like Martha…too busy to sit at the feet of Jesus to hear His teachings?

8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

To be continued.....

Hi Wheeler , I will wait for your part 2 , before I comment .............
I just wanted to say that many miss out on the

''good stuff' because they just want the bread of Life / ''the good news'' of the gospel
but Jesus told us plainly that we cannot live by bread alone ,

but by every Word that proceeds out of the mouth of God when rebuking the devil
about worshipping God only . with respect and honor and glory to HOLY GOD .
Mat 4:4But he answered and said,

It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone

, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

all these things written are for examples and we are to take heed in them

1Cr 10:11Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples:

and they are written for our admonition,

upon whom the ends of the world are come.

Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.
There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man:

but God [is] faithful,
who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able;

but will with the temptation also make a way to escape,

that ye may be able to bear [it].

Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.

I speak as to wise men; judge ye what I say.

Hi Chickapee,

I realize there is a lot of negativity in my posts. But, better is open rebuke than “hidden love.” Jesus rebukes and chastens those He loves.

(Prov 27:5 KJV) Open rebuke is better than secret love.

It is better to hear the rebuke of the Spirit of Truth than to hear the “song of fools:”

(Eccl 7:5 KJV) It is better to hear the rebuke of the wise, than for a man to hear the song of fools.

He rebukes and disciplines those He loves.

(Rev 3:19 KJV) As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

There is much joy in receiving the love of the Truth and repenting. We will enter into the joy of the Lord with singing in our hearts. The Lord rebuke will rebuke the sea and the wind, we will no longer be children tossed about with “every wind of doctrine”….by the “sleight of men”….those who lie in wait to deceive:

(Eph 4:13 KJV) Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

Let us be silent….let us cease from our own religious wisdom…for our Lord is raised up out of His holy habitation:

(Zec 2:13 KJV) Be silent, O all flesh, before the LORD: for he is raised up out of his holy habitation.

He will still the “noise of the seas”…He will still the voices of the false teachers and their ways. His people will see them for what they are. Their folly will be made manifest to all.

(Psa 65:7 KJV) Which stilleth the noise of the seas, the noise of their waves, and the tumult of the people.

The “proud waves” shall be “stayed”….they will have reached their limit:

(Job 38:11 KJV) And said, Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further: and here shall thy proud waves be stayed?

Their folly shall be “manifest unto all men.” The proud waves shall proceed no further.

(2 Tim 3:8 KJV) Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.

The “man of sin” among us that shall be revealed by the Spirit of Truth. When their pride comes as they resist and contradict the revealed Truth, then comes their shame

(Prov 11:2 KJV) When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.

The shame of their ways will be revealed to all…their folly shall be manifest unto all men. We can then see who the tares are. The tares were sown as men slept….they crept in unaware and men have not been able to discern what is clean and unclean. The “mystery of iniquity” has been at work within the church itself. But the Lord sends His Spirit of Truth to speak… to reveal… the Truth to us which enables us to see the “man of sin.” It is an awakening…it is an eye-opening….it is the revelation of knowledge through the Spirit of Truth by which we can know what is righteous and what is unrighteous. We can then see who is of the Spirit of Truth and those who are of the spirit of error. In 2nd Thessalonians, we are told by Paul about something “withholding” the revealing of the wicked until “he be taken out of the way.”

(2 Th 2:6 KJV) And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

The “man of sin” is “covered” by his “cloak of covetousness” as Paul mentions in 1 Thessalonians:

(1 Th 2:5 KJV) For neither at any time used we flattering words, as ye know, nor a cloak of covetousness; God is witness:

Many have misused the bible for covetousness. They have twisted and distorted the Word of God for their own gain. They use distorted “bible teachings” to deceive the poor flock to support their covetous thoughts and ways. There has been confusion over the interpretation of the Scriptures and it has provided opportunity for deceitful men (tares) to lead others astray for unjust gain. But the Lord sends his Spirit of Truth in these last days to give us the full knowledge of God so that we may see the spirit of error. When the Truth is revealed, there is no more “cover” for deceitful teachings…their cloak shall be removed for all those who receive the love of the Truth. The knowledge of the Scriptures will be fully revealed to us….the “cover” of confusion of the interpretation of the bible has provided opportunity for deceitful men…but the “cover” shall be taken out of the way. Our God will give us the revealed Truth….in Christ Jesus who is the Truth. The Greek word for “revealed” is “apokalupto” which means “to take the cover off, disclose.”

(Luke 12:2 KJV) For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.

There is nothing covered that will not be revealed….the knowledge of the Scriptures will be revealed through the Spirit of Truth and the hearts of men will also be revealed by how they respond to the revealed Truth. With the Spirit of Truth, we can see the spirit of error and those who cling on to it….the “man of sin.” When there is no more confusion over the bible, there is no more power for the tares position over the flock of God. “He who letteth” is like Lot who “lingered” in Sodom. “Lot” means “veil, covering, hidden”….the angels or messengers of the Truth come to take the “cover” away as they did Lot. They took Lot by the hand who “lingered:”

(Gen 19:16 KJV) And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; the LORD being merciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him without the city.

The angels could not do anything until Lot left Sodom and entered into Zoar. Lot’s lingering kept the wrath of God from coming upon Sodom and Gomorrah until he was “taken out of the way:”

(Gen 19:22 KJV) Haste thee, escape thither; for I cannot do any thing till thou be come thither. Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar.
23 The sun was risen upon the earth when Lot entered into Zoar.
24 Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven;
25 And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground.

But as soon as Lot left Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from heaven:

(Luke 17:28 KJV) Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

It shall be like this again when the Son of man is “revealed”…..the “cover” is taken off of the Scriptures and the Truth is revealed. With this knowledge, we are to lose our lives to save them….we are to leave Sodom as Lot did…we are to leave Babylon and not look back to those church activities that were done in the darkness of men’s fleshly mind.

30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
31 In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.
32 Remember Lot's wife.
33 Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.

The Spirit of Truth will come in these last days to speak to us with the words of Christ Jesus who will open up the Scriptures to us for understanding. When He does this, there will be no more a “cloak” for our sins…..as Jesus indicated to the Pharisees and scribes also:

(John 15:22 KJV) If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloak for their sin.
23 He that hateth me hateth my Father also.
24 If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father.

And again, the Spirit of Truth comes for judgment just as the Pharisees were judged. They “heard” the words of Jesus but did not believe in them….their sin remained upon them. Likewise, those who hear the Spirit of Truth but do not believe shall have their sin remain.

(John 9:39 KJV) And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.
40 And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also?
41 Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.

The Spirit of Truth comes today to give us the full, revealed Truth of the Word….his witness is the witness of God and Jesus Christ.

(John 15:26 KJV) But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

Christ Jesus opens up the Scriptures for understanding with the Spirit of Truth in these last days. We are to receive the love of the Truth and be saved. We are to depart from “Babylon”…to leave “Sodom” like Lot did. The angels also took Lot’s wife and daughters out of the way. Paul alludes to us leaving in 2nd Thessalonians…the same letter that speaks of the man of sin being revealed. He speaks of our deliverance from “unreasonable and wicked men.” They are “unreasonable” because they will have rejected and will actively oppose the revealed Truth….the take-the-cover-off Truth. They are the “man of sin” to be revealed with the revealing of the Truth.

(2 Th 3:1 KJV) Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:
2 And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.
3 But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.

Again in 2nd Thessalonians, Paul even “commands” us in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ that we withdraw ourselves from every brother who walks not according to the Truth:

(2 Th 3:6 KJV) Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.

We are to have “no company” with those who do not obey the revealed Truth…the Word of God. We are to leave from their company as Lot left the men of the city of Sodom.

(2 Th 3:14 KJV) And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.

Yet, we are to “admonish” them gently as a brother. To “admonish” means to “gently warn, to gently rebuke.”

15 Yet count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.

In meekness we are to instruct those that “oppose themselves”….they will oppose the knowledge of the Truth which is their inheritance. What a shame. What will man exchange for his soul?
