  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

(2 Tim 2:24 KJV) And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,

We are to instruct them gently hoping that God will give them repentance to the acknowledging (epignosis) of the Truth….the full, revealed Truth that comes to us in this last days to set us free from the “snare of the devil”….we escape Babylon…we leave Sodom. These things pertain to those in the church itself and not the outside world. Jesus was opposed by his very own 2000 years ago. It was the religious that were to hear and repent…..it was the people of God that were to hear the Truth of God…Jesus Christ. But many opposed him….many of the leaders were antichrist. Today, there will be a repeat. The Spirit of Truth comes to the people of God…who will hear? Who will repent and be saved from the coming wrath of God?

25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

There will be those who reject and oppose all that is of God…His Truth. When they do, they will have no “cloak” to cover themselves any longer.

(Isa 59:6 KJV) Their webs shall not become garments, neither shall they cover themselves with their works: their works are works of iniquity, and the act of violence is in their hands.

Their cloaks will have been taken from them….and their shame shall be seen by all:

(Rev 16:15 KJV) Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

(Rev 3:18 KJV) I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

For those who do not receive the love of the revealed Truth and be saved, there will be no longer a sacrifice that covers their sins:

(Heb 10:26 KJV) For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

The Scriptures have been in confusion for the last 2000 years. All those who have blasphemed in our churches in the past have been forgiven….because they did not have the full, revealed Truth…they only knew in part. They blasphemed in ignorance. Their sins are covered by the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ. But now, Christ comes in the Spirit of Truth to reveal to us all hidden knowledge, truth and His wisdom. All those who willfully continue on in their sins after receiving the revealed Truth will not be forgiven….because once they hear the Truth and reject it, there is no longer any sacrifice for their willful sins. Their sins will be upon their own heads. Those who continue to willfully teach doctrines and conduct church with covetousness in mind will be judged.

(Mark 3:28 KJV) Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:
29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:
30 Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit.

Those that reject and oppose the revealed Truth, forsake their own mercy.

(Jonah 2:8 KJV) They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy.

They will have counted the blood of the covenant as an “unholy thing.” They will have“trodden under foot” the Son of God who is the Truth, the Way and the Life. They will have done “despite unto the Spirit of grace.” Our God is full of compassion and will save us from our sins and from wicked and “unreasonable” men. Let us hear what His Spirit says to us today.

(Heb 10:29 KJV) Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

(Luke 12:10 KJV) And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven.

God wills that all men be saved….to come to the full knowledge (epignosis) of the Truth:

(1 Tim 2:4 KJV) Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

God has no pleasure in the death of the wicked among His people….He wills that all turn from their evil, covetous ways and live. The message is to His church…His people that they need to turn from their ways.

(Ezek 33:11 KJV) Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

My goodness Wheeler I think you are very balanced ! not negative at all , I was referring to so many that ,tickle the ears types desirous of hearing something pleasant

Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
2Ti 4:3For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away [their] ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables
when younger went to a pure hell fire and brimstone preacher and came out of this very miserable desiring to die somewhere between the two extremes
is rightly dividing the word of Truth ..

I love the fellowship and honestly you have so graciously shared these days this is a God send !

the Lord is working something within to the effect of cautious and carful how we hear
this is a wonderful work of the Holy Spirit I do believe this is a preparing the way for the times ahead brother

and You are a blessing from above , I was not referring to you at all , but in what discerning the spirits really is , I have been praying for this ability
because I am poor in this area

and you seem to be so very Blessed in this gift of God ..

and as I have said before so am learning and being blessed by the Lord right now

in wanting more of His truth ... and nothing else but His Truth and Spirit

and fellowship with likeminded believers , the mind of Christ
obedient to Gods perfect will ....

Blessings C ..

Of these things put [them] in remembrance,

charging [them] before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, [but] to the subverting of the hearers.
2Ti 2:15Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
But shun profane [and] vain babblings:

for they will increase unto more ungodliness.
And their word will eat as doth a canker:

of whom is Hymenaeus and PhiletusWho

concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already;

and overthrow the faith of some.

Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure,

having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his.

And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

15Let them be before the LORD continually, that he may cut off the memory of them from the earth.

Psa 109:16Because that he remembered not to shew mercy,

but persecuted the poor and needy man,

that he might even slay the broken in heart.

17As he loved cursing,

so let it come unto him:

as he delighted not in blessing,

so let it be far from him.
18As he clothed himself with cursing

like as with his garment,

so let it come into his bowels like water,

and like oil into his bones.
19Let it be unto him as the garment

which covereth him,

and for a girdle wherewith
he is girded continually. 20Let this be the reward of mine adversaries

from the LORD,

my soul.

the garment of cursing seems to be even worse than the shame of nakedness

Hi Chickapee, I was thinking before you posted about how things may seem so negative to others. But, I guess it is negative only to those who don't want to hear it. I thank God for your attentive ear!

We, the Christian church, have been no better than the Jews of 2000 years ago. We have come full circle. We have all been under sin and need to repent just as the religious people of God did in yesteryear.

(Rom 3:9 KJV) What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;

It was the religious that were instructed to repent 2000 years ago….it is the religious today in the church that need to also repent of their sins and be saved from the wrath to come. It was the people of Jerusalem and Judea that were to repent….it is the people of the church today that need to repent. We have been living in the “wilderness”….the spiritual drought….we need to heed John the Baptist’s preaching today.

(Mat 3:1 KJV) In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea,

John the Baptist’s message today is especially relevant….we, those in the church, need to repent for the kingdom of God is at hand…the time of His full, revealed Truth is coming. Let us prepare ourselves….let us make our “paths straight.”

2 And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
3 For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.
4 And the same John had his raiment of camel's hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey.
5 Then went out to him Jerusalem, and all Judaea, and all the region round about Jordan,

The Jews were baptized in Jordan and confessed their sins…..many of the church also need to confess their sins and be immersed in the Spirit of the Truth. “Jordan” means “descender”….that is what New Jerusalem does….heavenly wisdom descends upon us so that we may know our sins and repent. We are to receive the love of the Truth that descends upon us…we are to do the Truth and be saved.

6 And were baptized of him in Jordan, confessing their sins.

Like many of the Pharisees and Sadducees, we are to be baptized in the Truth….to be washed in pure “water”….to heed the warning to flee from the wrath to come.

7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?

We are to bring forth fruits of repentance….fruits of the Spirit….peace, love and Truth.

8 Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:

The Jews of 2000 years ago…the lost sheep of Israel… had their “day of the Lord”…they had their time of “visitation.” Jesus visited them…he taught them…he healed them…he rebuked them…he chastened them. Not all of them listened. We, the church, will also have our day of the Lord…the time of our visitation. Will we listen?

(Luke 19:42 KJV) Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.
43 For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side,

There were many of the Jews who did not believe Jesus’ words ….which were the words of God. They preferred things the way they were….they preferred the old wine of the old wineskins. Will those of the church believe when they hear the Truth or will they turn their ears from hearing? Let us know the time of our visitation.

44 And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.

There were those who bought and sold in the temple 2000 years ago, there are many who buy and sell also within the church….those who seek to make merchandise of us. They do not seek the kingdom of God first….they run after things of this world.

45 And he went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold therein, and them that bought;

Like the Jews of 2000 years ago, the Christian church will also have its day of visitation. We have come full circle.

(1 Pet 2:12 KJV) Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.

Will we know the time of our visitation? Will we be watching or will we be asleep and be caught unawares?

(Luke 12:40 KJV) Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.

(Mat 25:13 KJV) Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

The unbelieving Jews of 2000 years ago suffered the judgment and wrath of God…

(Mat 3:9 KJV) And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.
10 And now also the ax is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

(Mat 23:33 KJV) Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?

(Mat 23:38 KJV) Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.

(Luke 3:16 KJV) John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:
17 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor, and will gather the wheat into his garner; but the chaff he will burn with fire unquenchable.

Those who are unbelieving in the church will also suffer the coming wrath….the day of the Lord...because they will not recognize the day of their visitation and repent . They will speak evil of the revealed Truth or be hindered by riches or fear when it comes. It will come as a “thief in the night” to those who aren’t watching and preparing themselves to meet Him.

(1 Th 5:2 KJV) For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.

(2 Pet 3:10 KJV) But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

We are to prepare ourselves for Him….to be found of Him in peace, without spot and blameless. His revealed Truth enables us to do this.

14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

(Rev 3:3 KJV) Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.

(Rev 16:15 KJV) Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

Those who do not believe and who do not prepare themselves will suffer the wrath of God. The “lake of fire” is the wrath of God that comes upon His people who refuse to turn from their evil ways …they refuse to return to God who would give them rest in His mercy and Truth. There will be no rest or peace to those on the outside. Wickedness will burn like a fire.

(Rev 21:8 KJV) But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

The “fearful” are those who will hear the revealed Truth and receive it with joy but are afraid of the persecution of their very own. The revealed Truth requires us to separate ourselves from brothers who are covetous. We are to leave houses, brothers, sisters, etc for the Lord….that is, we are to leave our churches and fellow congregants if they do not also repent of their ways. This brings about persecution….gossips, reviling of those who do. We are not to be afraid of them….fear would keep us from preparing ourselves and being fruitful with the Word. Let us remember how the Jews treated their own kind…so will our own “countrymen” treat us who love and do the revealed Truth. Our own church people will rail against those who depart for the Truth.

(1 Th 2:14 KJV) For ye, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus: for ye also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, even as they have of the Jews:
15 Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men:

Let us not be afraid of those who will oppose us. Their opposition will be a “sign” to them of their perdition but to us of salvation.

(Phil 1:28 KJV) And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God.
29 For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;

We are to confess before men our belief in God’s Truth and if this requires us to leave our church, then so be it. Let us not be afraid of their terror.

(Mat 10:32 KJV) Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

The “fearful” are those like the chief rulers that believed on Jesus 2000 years ago, but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him before them out of fear they would be put out of the synagogue. Very soon, we will also find the same reasoning in the church at the revealing of the Truth.

(John 12:42 KJV) Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue:
43 For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.

Let us not be like those who receive the Word in the “stony places”….and be entrapped because of the persecution from other church goers. Even though they may have received the revealed Truth with joy, they cannot be established in the Truth (have root in themselves) because of the fear of what their pastors or fellow church goers would say or do to them.

(Mat 13:20 KJV) But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it;
21 Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.

The “stony places” refers to those around us who will persecute us…their faces and foreheads will be hard as stone and their looks will be dismaying. They will be intimidating. But the Lord will give us bravery against those who will oppose us…..as indicated in Ezekiel:

(Ezek 3:8 KJV) Behold, I have made thy face strong against their faces, and thy forehead strong against their foreheads.
9 As an adamant harder than flint have I made thy forehead: fear them not, neither be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.

Let us receive Christ Jesus the Lord and be rooted and built up in him……established in faith. Let us not fear what the others around us will do and think.

(Col 2:6 KJV) As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:
7 Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.

We are to receive the Lord’s words within our hearts. We are to “hear” them….understand His knowledge. He gives us a spirit of power and love and not of fear. Let us not fear.

10 Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, all my words that I shall speak unto thee receive in thine heart, and hear with thine ears.

Let us not fear what men can do to us. Let us be rooted in God.

(Psa 56:4 KJV) In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.

Let us not be afraid and hide the revealed Truth that was sown in our hearts….let us not become unfruitful with the Word of God because of what others might say or do.

(Mat 25:25 KJV) And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.
26 His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strowed:
27 Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.
28 Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.

Let us let the light of God’s knowledge shine before men….and not hide it. Let us be fruitful with the Word of God.

(Luke 8:16 KJV) No man, when he hath lighted a candle, covereth it with a vessel, or putteth it under a bed; but setteth it on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light.

The “unbelieving” will not receive the love of the Truth and be saved….they will not believe the revelation of the Truth when it comes. They will “depart from the living God” with an evil heart because they will not receive the love of His Truth and be saved His wrath to come.

(Heb 3:12 KJV) Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

These are those in the church who will hear the revealed Truth….the seed sown…but will immediately not believe it. They would rather stick to the old-time religion’s interpretations of the Scriptures. They will “trodden down” the Son of God.

(Luke 8:5 KJV) A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it.

They will not receive the love of the Truth and be saved….they never receive the love of the Scripture of Truth…the Word….as compared to those who do but fear persecutions (the seed sown in the stony place)

(Luke 8:12 KJV) Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.
.
Since they receive not the love of the Truth that they might be saved, then God sends them a strong delusion. Satan will be allowed to come and take the Word out of their hearts with all power, signs and lying wonders.

(2 Th 2:10 KJV) And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness

To expand on the parable of the sower a little more….

Our Lord comes to speak to us through the Spirit of Truth in these last days so that we may have His knowledge to cleanse ourselves from all unrighteousness. With His knowledge we can be fruitful. The knowledge that He will give us is the “mysteries of the kingdom of God”….it is the “word of the kingdom”…it is the “gospel of the kingdom.” It is the complete understanding of the Scriptures that God will give those who receive the love of the Truth and be saved. We are to be saved from our sins…to be saved from our own “untoward generation.” What Peter testified and exhorted to the house of Israel 2000 years ago now applies to us today. We are living in a “corrupt generation.” We find this “untoward generation” not on the outside of the church but within the church itself.

(Acts 2:40 KJV) And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

There will be those within the church that will understand, turn and be healed….there will be those within the church who will not understand.

(Luke 8:10 KJV) And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.

It is the Word of God that interprets the Scriptures for us…the Spirit of Truth will speak to us. Let us hear what the Spirit says. We are to live by every word of God. But, there are some, as indicated in the parable of the sower, that will not receive the love of the Truth in their hearts and be saved. Although they will hear it, they will trodden it down:

(Luke 8:5 KJV) A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it.

(Luke 8:12 KJV) Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.

This is shown to us in Hebrews….that they will “trodden under foot the Son of God”….who is the TRUTH, the Way and the Life. They will not receive the love of the Truth even though they hear it. They will sin willfully after receiving the seed sown in their hearts.

(Heb 10:26 KJV) For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
28 He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
30 For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.
31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Since they do not receive the love of the Truth that they may be saved, Satan comes to take away the Word out of their hearts. The “fowls of the air” come to devour the seed sown within their hearts. This is allowed by God….He shall send them strong delusion so that they will believe a lie because they believed not the Truth. The devil comes to take away what was sown in their hearts with all power, signs and lying wonders:

(2 Th 2:9 KJV) Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

This is why we must take heed on how we hear the Truth. If we lightly esteem the revealed Truth when it comes, then what we seem to have will eventually be taken away. Let us receive the love of the Truth with an open, honest heart

(Luke 8:18 KJV) Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.

Let us receive Him into our house….our hearts.

(Luke 10:38 KJV) Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house.

When we do, let us be like Mary and sit at His feet and hear His word.

39 And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word.

Let us not be burdened down with our religious works and miss the important thing…let us hear the Lord’s voice and obey.

40 But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me.
41 And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things:

Those that sit at the feet of Jesus to hear His words will have nothing taken away from them….they are people with an honest heart. They are the wise.

42 But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.

The wicked will not understand because they have no love for the Truth even though they received the seed. What they do have will be taken away.

(Mat 13:19 KJV) When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.

They will not understand because they, “the wicked,” will do “wickedly”…they will trodden down the Truth and esteem the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an “unholy thing”, and will have done despite unto the Spirit of grace.

(Dan 12:10 KJV) Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

And so because of these things, they will be given no understanding. They will not see so that they may understand and be healed. They will lean upon their own understanding…their “wisdom.” They will proclaim they are the purveyors of the truth…that their word is truth….that their interpretation of the Scriptures is the truth over the revealed Truth. They are like the prince of Tyrus and will be judged like him:

(Ezek 28:1 KJV) The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,

Their hearts will be lifted up against the revealed Truth…in pride. They will say they are God…that their teachings, doctrines and ways are the correct way over the revealed Truth of God….who is the Way and the Life.

2 Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God:

They will rely upon their own wisdom and their own understanding in the face of the great revelation of Christ Jesus…His wisdom, knowledge and understanding. They think that their riches are a sign of their godliness….it is a lying sign.

3 Behold, thou art wiser than Daniel; there is no secret that they can hide from thee:
4 With thy wisdom and with thine understanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasures:

Their hearts will be lifted up against the Truth in pride because of their riches.

5 By thy great wisdom and by thy traffic hast thou increased thy riches, and thine heart is lifted up because of thy riches:
6 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast set thine heart as the heart of God;
7 Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness.
8 They shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou shalt die the deaths of them that are slain in the midst of the seas.
9 Wilt thou yet say before him that slayeth thee, I am God? but thou shalt be a man, and no God, in the hand of him that slayeth thee.
10 Thou shalt die the deaths of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.

At the revealing of the Truth of God, then the man of sin will be revealed because they will rise up in their pride against it….a great falling away. They will oppose the Truth and exalt themselves against it. The “man of sin” isn’t one man, but will be many who do not receive the love of the Truth and be saved.

(2 Th 2:3 KJV) Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

They will be the “son of the morning.” The “morning” is a spiritual reference to when the revealed Truth finally dawns upon our hearts after the “night” of having no knowledge. The “son of the morning” will be the “son of perdition” because they will rise up in their pride against the revealed Truth in the “morning” of the spiritual Truth of God. The “morning” is the absolute wrong time to rise up in pride…deceived by your church riches.

(Isa 14:12 KJV) How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
They will think to exalt themselves against those who do believe the Truth…the “stars of God.” They will think to sit upon the “mount of the congregation”…they will think to rule with their interpretations of the bible over God’s interpretation.

13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

(Heb 12:18 KJV) For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest,

(Heb 12:22 KJV) But ye are come unto mountSion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,
19 And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard entreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more:
20 (For they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart:

Great scriptures Wheeler , thanks for the posts much appreciated ....

I love Mount Zion the City of David .....Act 13:34And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, [now] no more to return to corruption, he said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David.

where the tender mercies of God are towards his beloved .....

Sion
(From Hitchcock's Bible Names) noise; tumult Sion or Zion = "a parched place"

Zion
(From Hitchcock's Bible Names) monument; raised up; sepulcher

But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,
Hbr 12:23To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,
And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than [that of] Abel. See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more [shall not] we [escape], if we turn away from him that [speaketh] from heaven:

Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. And this [word], Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:

Hi Wheeler been in Exodus 3 when Moses experienced the burning bush ,
I was curious when Jesus said this ??

Mar 12:26And as touching the dead, that they rise: have ye not read in the book of Moses, how in the bush God spake unto him, saying, I [am] the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?
34And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage:

this reminds me of the days of noe 26And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
27They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
the adulterous generation rejecting the Lord and His WORDS ? Mat 16:4A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. And he left them, and departed.
copyChkboxOff.gif
Mar 8:38Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

AM Starting to see this pattern now !
35But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage: 36Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.

Luk 20:37Now that the dead are raised, even Moses shewed at the bush, when he calleth the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob
38For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him.

The mystery is some how in the burning bush that was not consumed ?
God spoke to Moses
but the way this is worded has me wondering
I noted that in Acts Stephen said this ,
This Moses whom they refused, saying, Who made thee a ruler and a judge? the same did God send [to be] a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the angel which appeared to him in the bush.

The Angel of the Lord in the burning Bush APPEARED to Moses and the Lord SAW and God SPOKE ,
the part about the Lord and God are they the same One ?, or is this the Lord and God with His Angel ? this has me stumped the way its worded ?
Exodus 3

1Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb.
2And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.
3And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.
4And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see,

God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.
5And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.
6Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.
7And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows; 8And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites

and noted this last verse is Israels ememies ?

I do appreciate the stimulis the help keep on looking into these things God bless .. C

It is the very same Today as than!! "JESUS CHRIST is] the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever." (Hebrews 13:8)
we are all given the same chance

Deu 4:24For the LORD thy God [is] a consuming fire, [even] a jealous God.
after reading exodus 23

we are either his enemies or God is with us ...........

Understand therefore this day, that the LORD thy God [is] he which goeth over before thee; [as] a consuming fire he shall destroy them, and he shall bring them down before thy face: so shalt thou drive them out, and destroy them quickly, as the LORD hath said unto thee.

28Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:
copyChkboxOff.gif
Hbr 12:29For our God [is] a consuming fire.

this is Michael is it not ? guardian over the children of Israel

Exd 4:22And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD, Israel [is] my son, [even] my firstborn:

And I say unto thee, Let my son go, that he may serve me: and if thou refuse to let him go, behold, I will slay thy son, [even] thy firstborn..........Exd 12:12For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I [am] the LORD.

20Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.
21Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.

22But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.
23For mine Angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites: and I will cut them off.
24Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images.
25And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.
26There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.
27I will send my fear before thee, and will destroy all the people to whom thou shalt come, and I will make all thine enemies turn their backs unto thee.
28And I will send hornets before thee, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite, from before thee.
29I will not drive them out from before thee in one year; lest the land become desolate, and the beast of the field multiply against thee.
30By little and little I will drive them out from before thee, until thou be increased, and inherit the land.
31And I will set thy bounds from the Red sea even unto the sea of the Philistines, and from the desert unto the river: for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand;

and thou shalt drive them out before thee.

32Thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor with their gods. 33They shall not dwell in thy land,

lest they make thee sin against me: for if thou serve their gods, it will surely be a snare unto thee.

wow!! some of this is amazing why is Israel Gods firstborn ?
Jesus is Gods only begotton son ....
thanks C ......

Those that receive the Word of the kingdom on the “stony” place differ from those who receive it along the “way side”….from those who do not believe the revealed Truth when it is sown in their hearts. Those of the “stony” place actually receive it immediately with joy and “endure for a time:”

(Mark 4:16 KJV) And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness;
17 And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended.

But they have “not much earth”….no “depth of earth.”

(Mark 4:5 KJV) And some fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of earth:
6 But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away.

Having no depth of earth is having little or no faith….they fear.

(Mat 8:26 KJV) And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.

Those of little faith have fear and doubt….they fear what others will say and do to them because of the Truth that they have received and hold onto for a time. They fear the “waves” of ungodly men who will voice their displeasure at us.

(Mat 14:31 KJV) And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?

(Luke 18:8 KJV) I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

We are to have deep faith in our hearts for His Truth. The heart of kings searches out God’s knowledge and Truth…but he must have unwavering faith in order to gain more and more knowledge. The heart of kings is comparable to the heaven for height and the earth for depth. Kings have deep earth….deep faith…in their hearts to search out a matter. The matter is the Word of the kingdom…..the mysteries of the kingdom of God that He will give to those who do not waver in their faith…..fear not.

(Prov 25:2 KJV) It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.
3 The heaven for height, and the earth for depth, and the heart of kings is unsearchable.

Again, let us ask for His wisdom in faith….nothing wavering.

(James 1:5 KJV) If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

And as it says in Mark 4, those who receive the Truth in the stony place become scorched when the sun is up….and it will wither away because it had no root.

6 But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away.

The “sun” are those teachers who do not accept the Truth and will “beat” upon those who do receive it with joy….like the sun beats upon the earth. They will “smite” us with their words….with the “heat” of their anger. Let us have faith in God and be under His shelter from the heat and the sun.

(Isa 49:10 KJV) They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun smite them: for he that hath mercy on them shall lead them, even by the springs of water shall he guide them.

We are not to fear those of our own congregation who will beat us with their harsh words because of the Truth. Those who are of little faith will “draw back” because of their terror of those pastors, brothers and sisters who do not share the love for the Truth. They will abandon the Truth because of fear. They will not have patient endurance. Let us not “wither” or draw back…let us live by faith in His revealed Word:

(Heb 10:38 KJV) Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

Let us not draw back to destruction but let us believe His Word…the revealed Truth…that will save our souls. Those that are “fearful” will be cast into the “lake of fire.” If God be for us, who are we to fear?

39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

Let us with faith remember Jesus who suffered much from his very own brothers….his own countrymen. He patiently endured their contradiction against him. Let us not became weary and faint in our minds because of those who will not agree with the revealed Truth and with us. We are to have faith and patience.

(Heb 12:2 KJV) Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
12:3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.

Let us be like Peter and look to the Lord to save us. Let us not be of little faith.

(Mat 14:29 KJV) And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.
30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.

Let us not be afraid of the “boisterous” wind …let us not be afraid of angry men who will oppose and contradict us. Don’t be afraid of their teachings…doctrines of error that oppose us. If we feel we are sinking, cry out to the Lord.

31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?
32 And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased.

The Son of God is the Truth:

33 Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.

Let us not “observe the wind”….let us not pay heed to our vocal enemies who will not share the love of the Truth. Let us be fruitful with the Word no matter what man says or does.

(Eccl 11:4 KJV) He that observeth the wind shall not sow; and he that regardeth the clouds shall not reap.

The time is coming when the men like Diotrephes who like to have preeminence among the church will not receive those who love the Truth.

(3 John 1:9 KJV) I wrote unto the church: but Diotrephes, who loveth to have the preeminence among them, receiveth us not.
Their deeds will be to berate with hurtful words. We are not to be afraid of the “boisterous” wind.

10 Wherefore, if I come, I will remember his deeds which he doeth, prating against us with malicious words: and not content therewith, neither doth he himself receive the brethren, and forbiddeth them that would, and casteth them out of the church.

But blessed are you when men shall hate you…..that is your own countrymen…your own church members who will not agree with you over the revealed Truth. They shall separate you from their company and shall “reproach” you…..the persecution that we should not fear. They shall cast out your name as evil for the Son of man’s sake….because of your acceptance and belief of the revealed Truth when it comes.

(Luke 6:22 KJV) Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.

The Son of man comes to bring division. He will divide the tares from the wheat, the goats from the sheep, the light from the darkness, one member of the church from another.

(Luke 12:51 KJV) Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division:
52 For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three.
53 The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

Again, these are men that shall depart from the faith….the true faith…not from the church itself. They shall forbid others to receive the revealed Truth…..the true “meat” of the Lord. They shall forbid us to “marry” it.

(1 Tim 4:1 KJV) Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

We are to receive the belief and knowledge of the Truth with thanksgiving. This has nothing to do with literal marriage and literal meat….it is spiritual knowledge.

3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
5 For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

(Isa 62:5 KJV) For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee: and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.

In the revelation of the Truth, we are not given any longer to Babylonian doctrines….their “marriage,” but are as are the messengers in heaven. We will speak the revealed Truth through the Spirit of Truth…the “angels”….the messengers. We will know the Scriptures thoroughly through the power of God….through His Spirit of Truth.

(Mat 22:29 KJV) Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.

But just as the days of Noah, there will be those who will continue to “marry” their church teachings and activities. They will have refused to accept the Truth and continue buying and selling, building and planting….religious activities.

(Luke 17:27 KJV) They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;

Let us leave behind the principles of the doctrine of Christ and go on to perfection….the “strong meat.” Let us be able to discern good from evil and move on.

(Heb 5:14 KJV) But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
3 And this will we do, if God permit.
4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

At the revealing of the Truth of God, then the man of sin will be revealed because they will rise up in their pride against it….a great falling away. They will oppose the Truth and exalt themselves against it. The “man of sin” isn’t one man, but will be many who do not receive the love of the Truth and be saved.

(2 Th 2:3 KJV) Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

The parable of the sower is the parable of parables:

(Mark 4:13 KJV) And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables?

How will we know all parables without understanding this one? That is a significant question. This parable is about understanding the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven and how we receive that understanding.

(Mat 13:11 KJV) He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

The Lord comes with the Spirit of Truth to teach us the mysteries of the kingdom in these last days. This is something we have been waiting in faith and love for throughout the last 2000 years. It is coming at last as a small cloud that rises up out of the sea. And let us listen to Elijah’s counsel to Ahab. We are to “prepare thy chariot”….to prepare our hearts and “get thee down”….that is, to humble ourselves at the Truth so that the Truth (the rain) stop us not. We will suffer if we rise up in pride against the revealed Truth. Let us humble ourselves.

(1 Ki 18:44 KJV) And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man's hand. And he said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare thy chariot, and get thee down, that the rain stop thee not.

The revelation of the Truth is the “great rain.” Let us humble ourselves from our religious pride before the great rain comes. “Jezreel” means “God will SOW”….a fitting name for God sowing the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven within our hearts…..for being fruitful with the seed sown into our hearts.

45 And it came to pass in the mean while, that the heaven was black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain. And Ahab rode, and went to Jezreel.

The parable of the sower focuses on how each type of man will receive it. If he does not love it, then Satan comes immediately to take it out of his heart with all power, signs and wonders and so remains on the outside. He is allotted a place among the hypocrites (in the lake of fire) and is denied understanding. If he receives it with joy but then falls away because of fear of persecution from fellow church members, then he has drawn back into perdition….cast into the “lake of fire.” Whatever they thought they had will be taken away.

Matthew 13:12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.

But “blessed” are those that do His commandments….they prepare themselves….they prepare their chariots. They put away foolish doctrines and commandments of men…they love each other with unfeigned love. They put away their religious works of darkness that divide the church. They cast away their idols of gold and silver…their grand ministries, magnificent church buildings, their endless promotions of their religious books, cds, movies, their endless fund drives….all things done for the vain glory of man….for covetousness. Those people who keep His word sown in their hearts will have more abundance. They will produce fruits of righteousness. They will be able to enter in through the gates into the city….to learn ALL mysteries of the kingdom. This is not a literal city….it is heavenly wisdom. We will be able to understand the Scriptures with the mind of Christ and be able to do the works of God in true righteousness. We will then be able to worship Him in Spirit and Truth.

(Rev 22:14 KJV) Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

Outside are those who do not do His commandments

15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

“Without are dogs”….these are people who receive the revealed Word sown in their hearts but then listen to the “thorns” who bring them back into bondage after the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches. They become unfruitful with it. When the revealed Truth comes, then the false teachers (the thorns) rise up in pride to allure those who have escaped from the pollution of the church. Those that listen to and follow the false teachers will be like the dog who returns to his vomit.

(Mat 13:7 KJV) And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them:

(Mat 13:22 KJV) He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.

(Mark 4:18 KJV) And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word,

The “lusts of things” enter in and choke the Word…so that it becomes unfruitful in their lives. They will not be able to understand all mysteries…their lusts prevent them from entering into the city through the gates.

19 And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.

And so in 2nd Peter, we find there will be those false teachers “among the people”….so also in the parable is the seed is sown “among thorns.” Thorns = false teachers. They bring in the lusts of things….the “damnable heresies”….to deceive the “unstable.”

(2 Pet 2:1 KJV) But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

Unfortunately, many shall follow their “pernicious ways:”

2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

It will be through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of us…let us depart from the “thorns” teachings. Let us not listen to their enticing words.

3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

The false teachers…the thorns….will speak evil of the revealed Truth:

12 But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;

They will “count it pleasure to riot in the day time.” The “day time” is the time of the revelation of the full Truth of God. It will be the absolute wrong time to revel in “covetous practices.” They will love riches and things of this world more than the Truth and knowledge of God that can save them from the wrath to come and they will seek to keep others from the way of righteousness with their deceitful teachings. Let us run from their “wonderful works” ….let us depart from their company.

13 And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you;

The false teachers…the thorns….will beguile “unstable souls”….those who receive the seed of the Word among the thorns and listen to them will have missed out on a great reward…a great inheritance with the saints of God.

14 Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:
15 Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;

The false teachers…the thorns….will rise up (the thorns spring up)in these last days at the revelation of the Truth and will speak “great swelling words of vanity”….they will seek to “allure through the lusts of the flesh” those “unstable souls” among the people of God. The “lusts of the flesh” are the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches that seek to entangle again those who have escaped the pollution of the religious world through the Word sown in their hearts.

(2 Pet 2:18 KJV) For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.
19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.

If we have escaped the pollutions of the world through the full knowledge (epignosis) of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (the sown revealed Word) and are entangled again because of the “thorns,” then we are worse in the latter end than the beginning. To receive the revealed Truth in our hearts is to know the way of righteousness. Let us not depart from the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.

“For without are dogs”…..those who will listen and follow the thorns will remain in outer darkness. What they think they have will be taken from them. What will a man exchange for his soul? What is gaining the world and losing one’s soul going to benefit in the end?

22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

The Lord is longsuffering toward us and He is not willing that any should perish but all come to repentance. It is the people of God that need to repent of their ways.

(2 Pet 3:9 KJV) The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

The things of the “lusts of the flesh” will be taken away….even what he thinks he has will be taken away.

(Rev 18:11 KJV) And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:

Let us prepare our chariots (hearts) and humble ourselves so that the rain not stop us….let us go to “Jezreel”…. “God will sow.” Let us produce fruits of righteousness with His knowledge in our hearts.

(James 5:7 KJV) Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.

Good stuff Wheeler ,
It is amazing how you can connect the old and new covenants

together and they say the same things!

It is like a double witness .

I always love how Jesus explained further in Matt 13

to His students/disciples so they would have further understanding

Let us humble ourselves at the revealing of the Truth and full knowledge of God.

(Luke 14:11 KJV) For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

Let us consider Naaman who had come to Elisha the prophet to have his leprosy taken away.

(2 Ki 5:9 KJV) So Naaman came with his horses and with his chariot, and stood at the door of the house of Elisha.

Elisha sent a “messenger” to Naaman with the instruction on how to become clean from his leprosy. The word “messenger” is the word for “angel.” This story is a literal “parable”….it is a veiled prophecy for the church today. Our Lord sends His voice with the archangel…the chief messenger which instructs us into the way of righteousness…so that we may cleanse ourselves from sins that we have been living in as a church. The story of Naaman is the story for the church today. Although we have many sins in the church (as represented by leprosy,) we can become cleansed in the water of Life. Naaman was instructed to go and wash in the Jordan “seven times:”

10 And Elisha sent a messenger unto him, saying, Go and wash in Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean.

The “Jordan” is a veiled reference to the Spirit of Truth….the “New Jerusalem” which descends from heaven….heavenly wisdom from above. It is no coincidence that “Jordan” means “descender.” It is no coincidence that John the Baptist baptized in the Jordan. Naaman was instructed to go and wash in the Jordan “seven times”….a veiled reference to the seven Spirits of God which are in Christ Jesus our Lord. The seven Spirits represents the full knowledge, wisdom, understanding, counsel, power and fear of God:

(Isa 11:2 KJV) And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;

In these last days, the churches are instructed to wash themselves in the pure wisdom…Spirit of the Lord….so that we may worship Him in Spirit and Truth with fruits of true righteousness. He reveals His Truth to us today and we are to listen to what the Spirit of Truth says….to follow his instruction. Let us not be “wroth” as Naaman was after he heard the instruction. What Naaman expected to happen, did not happen….likewise, what the church is expecting to happen, will not happen. The times and seasons have been distorted by false teachers. The Son of man comes in an unexpected manner to those who have been misled. Let us see that the “summer” is drawing near….when we see the “shoot” of the Truth coming from the Scriptures, we know it is near….when we see the “fig tree” put forth its tender leaves that are for the healing of the church.

11 But Naaman was wroth, and went away, and said, Behold, I thought, He will surely come out to me, and stand, and call on the name of the LORD his God, and strike his hand over the place, and recover the leper.

Naaman questioned why he could just go to the rivers of Damascus to wash and be clean. He was wroth and went away in a rage. The Abana and Pharpar rivers are veiled references to the current teachings of religious men. The current doctrines and commandments of men will in no way cleanse us from our sins. We must immerse ourselves in the descending heavenly wisdom…the full knowledge and Truth of God. We are to dip in the “Jordan” seven times….just as Naaman was instructed to do by the “messenger” of Elisha.

12 Are not Abana and Pharpar, rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? may I not wash in them, and be clean? So he turned and went away in a rage.

“Abana” means “stone”…the teachings of man are based on his literal understanding of the Scriptures. Without the Truth enlightening us to the understanding of the Scriptures, then all of man’s teachings of “bible principles” are “stone”…they are lifeless, inanimate teachings which in no way will cleanse themselves from our sins…from our “leprosy.” The “Pharpar” means “in the sense of rushing, rapid”…..which represents the active, flowing teaching of man. Man’s doctrines “flow” out of the mouths and fleshly minds of men….they are based on “stone” understandings of the bible. Man’s teachings without the Spirit of Truth are teachings of lies:

(Hab 2:18 KJV) What profiteth the graven image that the maker thereof hath graven it; the molten image, and a teacher of lies, that the maker of his work trusteth therein, to make dumb idols?

They rely on their literal understandings of the Scriptures…..the literal, surface understanding is the “dumb stone.” They “teach”…..the Hebrew word is “yarah” which means “to flow as water.” “Flowing water” is symbolic of teachings. Man’s teachings are teachings of lifelessness….and whose objective is for covetousness….the dumb stone is “laid over with gold and silver”….and there is no “breath” at all in them. “Breath” is the Spirit….the Spirit of Truth is not in religious man’s understanding of the Scriptures.

19 Woe unto him that saith to the wood, Awake; to the dumb stone, Arise, it shall teach! Behold, it is laid over with gold and silver, and there is no breath at all in the midst of it.
20 But the LORD is in his holy temple: let all the earth keep silence before him.

And continuing in 2nd Kings, we find Naaman’s servants giving him good advice. We should listen to the counsel of his servants:

(2 Ki 5:13 KJV) And his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father, if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, wouldest thou not have done it? how much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean?

Now Naaman humbles himself….as signified by the words “then he went down:”
14 Then went he down, and dipped himself seven times in Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God: and his flesh came again like unto the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.

His flesh became clean….like a little child….after he dipped himself seven times in the Jordan. We also can become clean if we immerse ourselves in the Spirit of the Lord in His full Truth…the seven Spirits of God. We can become cleansed of our sins…but we must be as a “little child” to receive the kingdom of God. We will in no way enter in if we do not humble ourselves at the revealed Truth.

(Mark 10:15 KJV) Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.

We are to receive with love His sown Word of the Truth in our hearts and follow the instruction of the Spirit of Truth. We are to abandon our old ideas and understandings of old-time religion. It is a “new song”…..we are to humbly receive it and not stubbornly hang on to the old ways…the old religious traditions we grew up with…the old teachings of man which in no way can save us from our sins. There is no way to cleanse ourselves in the “Abana” and “Pharpar” rivers. Let us humbly go to the “Jordan” and immerse ourselves in the Spirit of Truth…..the “river of God.” It is His teachings that save us ….it is His understanding….His wisdom…that brings true Life.

(Psa 65:9 KJV) Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it: thou greatly enrichest it with the river of God, which is full of water: thou preparest them corn, when thou hast so provided for it.

The “river of God” will heal those who hear His heavenly wisdom and follow His instruction. His teachings will heal us from our sins….from the spiritual drought of the last 2000 years…from the dry, lifeless teachings of literal-minded, covetous man.

(Ezek 47:8 KJV) Then said he unto me, These waters issue out toward the east country, and go down into the desert, and go into the sea: which being brought forth into the sea, the waters shall be healed.

We must immerse ourselves in His knowledge so that we may have true Life…we shall live….we shall be healed in these last days if we hear His voice. Let us not harden our hearts for the old religious man’s ways and thoughts.

9 And it shall come to pass, that every thing that liveth, which moveth, whithersoever the rivers shall come, shall live: and there shall be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters shall come thither: for they shall be healed; and every thing shall live whither the river cometh.

Then we can be as the stars in the heavens and lead others to His righteousness. We can be fishers of men. We can be teachers of His truth to others…we can be His reapers in the great harvest of men.

10 And it shall come to pass, that the fishers shall stand upon it from Engedi even unto Eneglaim; they shall be a place to spread forth nets; their fish shall be according to their kinds, as the fish of the great sea, exceeding many.

But those who will resist the Truth and stubbornly cling on to their old ways and thoughts will not be healed. The “miry places” will not be healed and shall be “given to salt.” They shall not be fruitful….even what they think they have now will be taken from them. Their place will be in the “lake of fire.”

11 But the miry places thereof and the marishes thereof shall not be healed; they shall be given to salt.

Today, let us not harden our hearts if we hear His voice. Let us be like Naaman and humble ourselves to the revealed Truth of God….let us be healed in the river of God. “Naaman” means “delight, pleasant”….let us “delight” ourselves in His knowledge…let us receive His word that is sown in our hearts with delight…with love and with obedience.

(Psa 119:16 KJV) I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.

(Psa 119:24 KJV) Thy testimonies also are my delight and my counsellors.

Then the Lord will delight in us:

(Prov 11:20 KJV) They that are of a froward heart are abomination to the LORD: but such as are upright in their way are his delight.

Let us receive the love of the Truth…the sown Word in our hearts…..let us be with a “honest and good” heart. When we hear the Word….let us KEEP IT and bring forth fruit with patience.

(Luke 8:15 KJV) But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.

Let us teach the Truth….let us not cover it….let us not go after riches and old teachings of man….let us keep it and be fruitful with it. Let us be fishers of men.

16 No man, when he hath lighted a candle, covereth it with a vessel, or putteth it under a bed; but setteth it on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light.
17 For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad.

Let us take heed how we hear. If we keep it and do it, more shall be given us. We shall understand more and more of the bible…we shall have abundance.

18 Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.

Let us be of the good and honest heart that will receive the love of the Truth and produce fruits of righteousness with it. God has not appointed those with such a heart to wrath, but to the obtaining of salvation of our Lord Jesus Christ.

(1 Th 5:9 KJV) For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

Wrath will come upon all those who disregard the revealed Truth when it comes. Wrath will come to those who harden their hearts to His voice who instructs us in the way of righteousness. Wrath will come to those who do not receive the Truth with love in their hearts (the seed sown along the way side) …wrath will come upon those who hide the Word of Truth out of fear of persecution (the seed sown in the stony places)….wrath will come upon those who exchange the Truth of God for a lie…for corruptible things…for riches and worldly things (the seed sown among thorns.) Those that bring forth “ thorns” will be burned in the fire. But blessed are the meek….blessed are those with a good and honest heart….blessed are those who keep His Word and bring forth fruit with patience. Blessed are the pure in heart:

(Mat 5:8 KJV) Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

(Rev 19:9 KJV) And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

The “pure river of the water of Life” will proceed out of the throne of God and of the Lamb….let us immerse ourselves in it.

(Rev 22:1 KJV) And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:

The pure in heart shall see His face and His name shall be in our foreheads:

4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.
5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.

Our God will reveal His Truth to us….His sayings are faithful and true….His teachings are the True teachings. Let us not go to the rivers of the teachings of old-time religious man…teachings of error. Let us keep the sown Word of God in our hearts (good ground) and not exchange it for a lie (thorns)…or hide it out of fear( stony place)…or not receive the love of His Word that is sown along the way side.

6 And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to show unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.

Let us keep His sown Word in our hearts and be fruitful and multiply….30, 60, 100 times.

7 Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.

This is a great study Wheeler !

The good seed are the children of the kingdom the incorruptible seed of Christ in their hearts as God gives the increase ,,,,,,,
...Mat 13:37He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked [one];

Gal 3:16Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.
1Pe 1:23Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

the Word of God is how the GODS KINGDOM grows in truth and grace
by Gods increase His Holy Spirit teaches us and corrects us

1Cr 3:6 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.

1Cr 3:7So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase. Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.
For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, [ye are] God's building. According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon
Mat 9:38Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.
copyChkboxOff.gif
Luk 10:2Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly [is] great, but the labourers [are] few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.

And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive [it], and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred. Mat 12:33Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by [his] fruit. O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things

we cannot serve God and mammon ....

the good ground is the promise God has made in His covenant Neh 9:23Their children also multipliedst thou as the stars of heaven, and broughtest them into the land, concerning which thou hadst promised to their fathers, that they should go in to possess [it].

Christ is that good LAND and increase of GodCol 2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. Col 2:11In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:Col 2:17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body [is] of Christ. Col 2:19 And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.

(Psa 40:1 KJV) To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.
2 He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.
3 And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.
4 Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.

Once we hear the “new song,” let us not be proud and oppose the Truth that is shown to us or turn aside to lies and become unfruitful in the Word.

(Psa 40:3 ) And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.
4 Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.

The “proud” are those who receive the revealed Word along the way side. They will not receive the love of the Truth and will rise up against it in pride. Those that turn aside to lies are those who choke out the revealed Word with the cares of this world….with the deceitfulness of riches and other things. They will have changed the Truth of God into a lie. Their scenario is the seed that falls among thorns. In the day that the Son of man is “revealed,” let us not go back to the former things we highly esteemed in our religious lives. Whoever shall seek to save his current life shall lose it.

(Luke 17:30 KJV) Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
31 In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.
32 Remember Lot's wife.
33 Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.

Lot’s wife “looked back”….the Hebrew word is “nabat” which means to “to regard with pleasure, favor or care, to have respect.” When she did, she became a pillar of salt. We are not to look back also with respect to our former religious ways and thoughts. We are to leave them and have no respect for those things. Those things are responsible for strife and envy in the church. They are things that keep us from loving one another in the Lord.

(Gen 19:26 KJV) But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.

Those that look back to the “miry places” and the “marshes” of them shall not be healed but shall be given to “salt.” The sow who was once washed by the pure water returns to wallowing in the mud.

(Ezek 47:11 KJV) But the miry places thereof and the marishes thereof shall not be healed; they shall be given to salt.

Our Lord will reveal His knowledge to us in these last days so that we may depart from the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches and the lust of other things. We are not to look back at these things. Most of the churches are currently involved in these activities and need to have their sins declared to them so that they may cleanse themselves in His pure Word. Let us not return once we hear the revealed Word that is the pure teaching of the Scriptures. The pure water is the pure interpretation of the bible which is from the mouth of God and is not tainted by man’s understanding. It gives us instruction on how to correct ourselves and live in true holiness.

(Mark 4:19 KJV) And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.

Those that do return back to the mud, will be given to salt… they will become unfruitful in a “land” which is not sown nor will bear anything. Nothing will grow there. Even what they have will be taken from them. All of Babylon’s riches and delicacies will be removed.

(Deu 29:23 KJV) And that the whole land thereof is brimstone, and salt, and burning, that it is not sown, nor beareth, nor any grass groweth therein, like the overthrow of Sodom, and Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboim, which the LORD overthrew in his anger, and in his wrath:

And as Jesus says to us today, any one who looks back is not fit for the kingdom of God after putting his hand to the plow….after being instructed in the way of righteousness and then turning his back to such a great revelation of the Truth.

(Luke 9:62 KJV) And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.

For the last 2000 years, the churches have thought that the Divine was like our own thoughts and ways. We have made “religion” in our own hands. God is not like our gold and silver or stone works. He is not like our grand church buildings, our wonderful ministries, our riches, our wonderful works done in His name. All our works have been the works of our own hands from our own imaginations in the vanity of our own hearts.

(Acts 17:29 KJV) Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.

We have been living in times of ignorance for the last 2000 years, and He has overlooked them. But NOW He commands all men to repent. He comes to reveal the Truth to us with His voice so that we may become aware of our works of iniquity and repent and be cleansed in the blood of the Lamb. Let us take heed on how we hear.

30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

He has appointed a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness. All who have received the revealed Truth in their hearts and hold it in unrighteousness will be judged accordingly. The word for “Truth” is “aletheia” which means “the truth as not being concealed, the state of not being hidden.” The Son of man will reveal God’s hidden Truth to us in this last day….let us not hold that revealed Truth in unrighteousness when He does.

(Rom 1:18 KJV) For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

He will reveal things that have been hidden from our understanding in the last 2000 years. He will manifest His knowledge in us ….in our hearts.

19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath showed it unto them.

We shall see the “invisible things” of Him. The “things that are made” are those literal stories in the Scriptures. We can readily read the stories and the eye witness accounts recorded in the bible. God had made those things in order to reveal His hidden knowledge to us at the appointed time through them. God will interpret the bible to us in a new understanding.

20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

But there will be those who will not glorify Him when He does this. They will change His Truth into a lie….they will return back to wallowing in the mud.

21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

Our God will give us the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the full knowledge (epignosis) of Him.

(Eph 1:17 KJV) That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

He will “enlighten” the eyes of our understanding so that we may know what is the hope of His calling and the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.

18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,

The churches have not been “enlightened” fully yet….but the hour is coming or very close. The churches have been “dead in trespasses and sins.” We have made our religion by the works of our own hands….our religion is works of gold and silver and stone. God has overlooked this ignorance but now commands us to repent of these things. He will “quicken” us with His revealed Truth.

(Eph 2:1 KJV) And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins:

Let us not return back to the way things were in our religious lives. Once we have the “eyes of our understanding” enlightened let us no longer walk according to the way we once did.

2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
7 That in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

It is by grace that we are saved through faith in His knowledge….not by our religious, church works done in the vanity of our own minds. Our “wonderful works” done in His name will not save us. His mercy and grace is the gift of God to His people.

8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Our many “wonderful works” are the works of all the churches in the last 2000 years. Our great church activities that we have done in His name will not save us…we are to depart from them. We cannot boast in our church works….they are void of Truth.

(Mat 7:22 KJV) Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Our church works are motivated by envy and strife. They are motivated by warring over who is the “greatest” in the kingdom of heaven. This was signified by the disciples debating about who was to be accounted the greatest. So also the churches are actively involved in strife and envy about who is the greatest….who is the correct church…who is approved by God over the other.

(Luke 22:24 KJV) And there was also a strife among them, which of them should be accounted the greatest.

Like Peter, the church has been sifted as wheat by Satan.

(Luke 22:31 KJV) And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:

But when the church receives the full knowledge of God and is “converted,” we are to “strengthen” our brothers. We are to live in unfeigned love for one another….no longer with envy and strife.

32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

The churches have been bogged down in foolish things…it has been deceived…living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another.

(Titus 3:3 KJV) For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.

But our God, with kindness and love, will show us His Truth and will forgive us for such ignorant things.

4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,

Our “works of righteousness” that we have done will not save us. His mercy…His forgiveness for our works of iniquity will save us. He will wash us in His pure water of the Truth. He will renew the Spirit for us. He has given us of His Spirit but it needs renewed in the “regeneration.”

5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

continued from previous post....

Like Peter, we are to be “converted” and to strengthen the brothers in Christ. We are to love one another.

Let us not lie against the revealed Truth….let us admit, as a church, that we have bitter envying and strife in our hearts. The wisdom of man has divided us into many different denominations….through envy and strife.

(James 3:14 KJV) But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.
15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.

Where envy and strife are, there is confusion and every evil work in the church.

16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

When we are “converted” through the wisdom from above, we are to make peace with one another…to love one another. ….to strengthen the brothers. To feed the sheep of God.

When we have received His mercy, let us not faint. Let us not return to the ways and thoughts of our previous church lives. Remember Lot’s wife.

(2 Cor 4:1 KJV) Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;

We are to renounce the hidden things of dishonesty in our churches. We are not to look back on those things. We are to quit handling the Word of God deceitfully for covetous practices.

2 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.

But not everyone is going to believe the revealed Truth when it comes. They will not have love for the Truth when they hear it. Satan will come immediately and take away what was sown in their hearts along the way side. The gospel of the kingdom will be hid to them because they believed not. Those who will not believe it will be lost. They will be “church” people.

3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

They will be people in our congregations who preach themselves…for their own deceitful ways…for their own vain glory. They will not make peace but will continue in their envious and strife-filled ways.

5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.
6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

There will also be people who will have received the seed sown in their hearts and will have their eyes “enlightened” to the Truth and made partakers of the Spirit of Truth but will fall away because of the lusts of this life. They are those who will have the seed sown among the thorns. They will be entangled again in the thorns. They will be lost also.

(Heb 6:4 KJV) For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
7 For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God:
8 But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.
But those who renounce the ways of dishonesty, who make peace with the brothers, who love each other with unfeigned love, who will feed the sheep with the meat of the Truth will be saved. They will live after the fruits of the Spirit.

9 But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak.

Thank you for understanding ,

My mother in Law is in liver faliure it has come suddenly and hard , we are going a long distance every day to see her and wait .. please continue your wonderful posts I can certainly print them and read them , they do encourage and bless my soul during this difficult time ... we love her dearly and sometimes letting go is more than we can bear , yet we trust Gods will for all things in this life and the things to come
I am so sorry to hear about you Dad passing over , I knew he was gravely ill , and I do understand your loss , my Dad died of liver failure 3 years ago and it is hard still on my mother to accept this loss on the daily basis , though she knows God is in control ,and he is where we all are waiting to go
I am reminded on Peters words we are waiting to put off this earthly tabernacle and be complete in Christ ........2 Peter 1
3According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

4Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
5And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
6And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
7And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
8For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
10Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:
11For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
12Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth.
13Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance;
14Knowing that shortly I must put off this my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath shewed me.
15Moreover I will endeavour that ye may be able after my decease to have these things always in remembrance.
16For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.
17For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
18And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount.
19We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
20Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 21For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

Thanks be to the Lord for you and blessings abundantly in His Holy will ............C
